There’s trouble brewing between Orphan Black‘s close-knit “siblings.”
As Season 2 delves deeper into what makes Felix tick, the bond between Sarah and her foster bro will begin to fray, the show’s cast and creator revealed Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif.
“Season 1, Felix was very much an integral cog in the mystery,” said his protrayer Jordan Garavis. “What Season 2 helps to do is establish Felix outside of the clones, as individual, with his own identity, and not just a plot device or to facilitate” Sarah’s story.
As a result, while Felix has always been there for her in the past, “his relationship with Sarah is tested,” teased Orphan creator Graeme Manson, before hinting that he will forge ”new friendships and allegiances with other clones.”

ReplyDeleteI hope Paul isn't too shady, though I don't mind not knowing whose side he's on, especially when they still have blackmail material on him to keep him in line. I'm glad they're going to develop Felix beyond his relationship with Sarah- as long as they don't break that bond, I don't mind seeing it tested. Hope Cosima will survive and can't wait for S2.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for more Felix development and for him having friendships with the other clones, his interaction with Alison in S1 was some of the best scenes.

Yeah I really like the way he automatically fell in to the role of being brother to them all, even in the limited interaction with Cosima.
