NBC on Friday night placed orders for two more single-camera comedy pilots shepherded by familiar faces.
The Mason Twins, penned by Casey Wilson (Happy Endings) and June Raphael (NTSF:SD:SUV::) follows fraternal twin sisters who, after being estranged for 15 years, reconnect when one’s perfect city life has fallen apart and she returns to her suburban hometown to find that her sister hasn’t matured past her teen queen days.
Stacy Traub will exec-produce with Wilson and Rafael.
A to Z, meanwhile, is described as a whimsical romantic comedy set in the world of an online dating company. Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Will McCormack will exec-produce alongside writer Ben Queen (Cars 2).
