I have to admit, when I saw the Nashville Sneak Peek post I got all excited. And then it was Rayna and Deacon and the bubble burst. I hate to do this to the goddess that is Tami Taylor, but these two? Boring beyond belief.
I don't find them boring, but I do think they should watch out for where they're taking this storyline. It has the potential of becoming hyper repetitive and that would certainly ruin it.
Must admit I honestly don't understand why do you perceive it that way. For me, this kind of scene is what Nashville is all about. Collaboration over music. With these two, watching them in action after we have just heard about it, and knowing what music means to them, what they mean to each other and how much has changed in their life ( and I don't mean just that they are dating other people ) is exactly what I am waiting for. It's much more interesting and creative and "Nashville" to watch them writing than watch them having "the talk". That would have been repetitive and less interesting.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing, I get they are end game and that's fine but if they are taking time a part, pursue other storylines. Great actors though.
