Huge congratulations to Hayley Atwell who has just landed her own major TV series Stateside in a new spin-off to Captain America.

  2. for some reason I can't open the source and I also have a hard time believing that such a news would come without a network attatched to it ?
It isn't part of the netflix deal isn't it ?
Or is Marvel producing the pilot independantly and offers it to various networks ?

  3. very cool! I loved her in Capt america and the Marvel one off.... She would've also been a great choice for the role of Wonder Woman, but I guess the Marvel vs DC didn't help

  4. I hope this isn't ending up on Netflix.

  5. Sounds good. As long as it isn't from the same creative team as AoS.

  6. I concur, AoS has been a pretty meh to bad show. Wich hurts because I know Joss usually does great stuff :/

  7. thx it works now. I'm still reluctant to buy that piece of information tough as there isn't any source to the article.

  8. Joss isn't the problem. The lack of Joss is the problem. The series was billed as Joss Whedon's but after the pilot all we ever get is his brother Jed and his wife.

  9. Just get the writers from the Peggy Carter one-shot on this new show, or even some of the writers from the Cap movies. I'd prefer Joss, and anyone related to Joss, to stay away from this.

A character like Peggy is what AoS lacks. A well-rounded, brilliantly acted, smart, capable, believable character.

  10. Well then more Joss is the solution ^^

  12. Based on what I saw of her in the CA movie it would make a really good series on cable, money could be spent of a good supporting cast, they'd be able t attract the best guest stars, great costumes and sets and it would be able to have a more grown up feel.

  13. As much as I would love this, the source being the Daily Mirror probably means its not true (at least for now). They are not reliable.
