TVLine has learned exclusively that Hannibal has recruited Canadian Scream Queen Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps, American Mary) to join Season 2 as Margot, a romantic interest for Will who also happens to be a patient of The Carnivorous One.

Described as beautiful and compelling, Margot has suffered years of abuse at the hands of her serial-killer twin brother

    But wasn't she a lesbian and had a girlfriend in Hannibal (the book)? I don't know how I feel about her being a "romantic interest" for Will... I will just wait for the 2 season and see what they're going to do with her character, but I'm a little bit apprehensive

    They really need to stop spreading the misinformation that she's Will's love interest, Bryan already debunked this and said she'd stay a lesbian. What I'm hoping for is that she has a connection with Will like Georgia did, I think that could be sweet (as sweet as you can get with this show and its messed up characters). I haven't seen the actress in much, just Supernatural and Being Human, but I trust Fuller and co and so far the casting hasn't let me down.

    This makes sense to me too, especially as you mention his relationship with Georgia, and thinking that there were some allusions to Clarice Starling there too with the character too.

    Bryan said she was a member of the LGBT community. I was thinking that she might be bisexual, and so she could be Will's romantic interest..

    He said it as a response to people worried she was going to be Will's love interest, while in the book she's a Lesbian. Will doesn't need another love interest- he has Alana now and Molly next season (we're getting a S3 I won't accept an alternative) he's not the kind of guy that falls in love easily or has relationships. Besides, someone from the production team said that they misinterpreted a casting notice, so maybe she has a relationship with Will that's like Georgia's or the scene was misleading.
