The very creative proposal via a clock was a happy scene. As for the COTW, I had to shield my eyes from the grossness, and I was upset that the first innocent victim was a hard-working policeman with a wife and two kids. That's so sad.
I think the Wesen of the Week stories have fallen short these last few weeks. I'd almost liketo NOT have a WotW and concentrate on some of the larger plot points for a week of two and then come back to the standalone segements.
I got the impression that he was protecting Nick as well. Nick usually doesn't go into attack mode on first Wesen meeting and Monroe knows that. It felt like instictually trying to protect the life he has built for himself in Portland as well.
I think they should go back to the fairy tales...it makes even a more mediocre episode more fun if you can spot the parallels. I really miss the times when nearly every episode was like that.
Not too happy at this point. I think if Monroe can settle everyone down it will work out. As for Stepping outside Monroe was distracted by his parent's attitude for a mate. So he was not thinking Nick would cause to have more gasoline added to the fire.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Monroe's proposal to Rosalee was by far the best thing in the episode for me. Well that and the end cards.
ReplyDeleteI loved the proposal it was great. However, Nick meeting Monroe's parents was awesome. "He's a Grimm????!!!!"

ReplyDeleteI voted for them flipping out about Rosalee. I would have gone for them flipping about Nick, but since we don't know how that ends yet....
ReplyDeleteMonroe's parents flip out even more about Nick
ReplyDeleteMonroe really should have talked to Nick on the porch. :-) I'm guessing Thanksgiving isn't going to be a happy family affair.

ReplyDeleteAnd it's going to be a long wait until we can see the results. Hopefully they will promote Grimm like crazy during the Olympics.

ReplyDeleteOh yes! I mean, the ratings are okay, but the more watchers the better.
