I hate that the only thing they're promoting is this BS love triangle. Matthew is such a non-character, he's literally created as a diversion for these characters. He has 0 personality of his own, the the fact that he was randomly also a god-fearing virgin was lazy and lame and it's just gone on and on. I could never even remember his name until ABC blew this Wedding thing up. How 'bout some focus on Oh's last season? (despite the fact that they've been butchering her characters story so far this year..)
If you were April, would you choose your best friend who also happens to be the guy you are in love with or another guy who doesn't really know the real you? I'd say she is going to choose Jackson. Why? Simply because he knows her better than anyone else, and her heart belongs to him. He has been her best friend for years. These two are soulmates. Plus, there are so many Japril fans! I don't think Shonda will disappoint the fans. Well, hopefully, she won't. And really, if you watched since season 6, you'd know the writers have been slowly developing the Japril storyline. Her heartbreaking reaction to the bus exploding last season was very telling. She loves Jackson the most.
Why shouldn't April choose Jackson who is her best friend and who she is in love with? I don't get it. Yeah, he said "I love you" during the wrong time. But he took Mark's advice. Tell the person you love before it's too late. Mark had to tell a DYING Lexie that he loves her because he waited too long. I think it truly hit Jackson that he was losing her as he was about to watch her marry someone else right in front of him. Similar to how April reacted when the bus exploded. Sometimes, it takes a big moment to shake you. Japril fans have waited long enough. Any other choice would be silly. And fans will be disappointed.
To be honest, Matthew saw the Jackson and April connection. Remember when the bus exploded? He saw April running towards the bus that was about to explode. He then heard her yell out Jackson's name in agony. THEN he watched as April attacked Jackson for putting his life at risk. THEN Matthew also saw how April looked upset when Stephanie hugged Jackson. He even didn't feel comfortable with inviting Jackson to his wedding at first. I mean, he saw all of this with his own eyes and still decided to marry her. So I don't really feel bad for him. If he had no idea, then yes, I'd feel bad. But he saw their connection again and again.
April assured him that it was him she wanted to marry. Also, Matthew wasn't the one uncomfortable at inviting Jackson, it was April who said that she didn't want to throw it in Matthew's face by putting him on the top of the guest list. It was Matthew who asked Jackson to come to the wedding, remember?
Yes, she did tell him that, but she also said, "I will always have feelings for Jackson". And Matthew wasn't completely comfortable with the idea, or so it was implied; he stipulated that "since him and Jackson didn't have a problem... he should come to the wedding". Because they'd only JUST cleared the air. On the surface it was about the patient, but they both realised the reason they were being so unnecessarily aggressive was because of April. I still feel so, so bad for him, he didn't deserve that, but at least he had some inkling that April had feelings for Jackson. Stephanie, on the other hand, full-on confronted Jackson about it and he assured her it was over. Now THAT is gonna be some serious fallout. JW was right, Matthew and Stephanie are Japril's victims, really. But I'm past caring really, because they dragged out their separation for too long, so I'm just happy that Jackson and April will be getting back together.
Yeah, I think we all know who she'll choose. They told Jesse and Sarah that this would be happening before they started shooting Season 10. They know the fans have really endured more than we should've. It's time for Japril.
Well, what about the development of the situation and then in some time a DIVORCE? People do part in this film. It gives more experience to the characters.
I don't really think they'll got that way, I mean that would just be plain silly after the whole Jesus storyline. And it would be very inconsistant with April's character as she is a devoted Christian.
Is this even a question worth asking? She has to choose Jackson. Jackson and April are everything to each other. They're best friends, lovers, colleagues, etc. There is only one choice here.

NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't get why Matthew or Jackson would wanna be with April at this point, but whatever.
ReplyDeleteExactly. He's being held as an emotional hostage by two people who can't make up their damn minds.

ReplyDeleteLol, does anyone actually think there's any choice to be had at this point? You've served your purpose, Matthew. Buh-bye now.
ReplyDeleteTruly. At least they didn't kill him................ yet.
ReplyDeleteWhy is this called a promo for the next half there is NOTHING NEW this break is so stupid!
ReplyDeleteThat's what a teaser promo is.

ReplyDeleteYes, more cliche Grey's Anatomy stuff, that's what we really need.

ReplyDeletePoor Matthew, he is the victim here.
ReplyDeleteABC, what is it with you and the hashtags? And April shouldn't choose either of them, tbh.
