Grey's Anatomy - Season 10B - Sarah Drew Interview

Jason Jordan: It's only right that we open the "Chop-Up" with how things left off in the Grey's Anatomy finale. Someone had her wedding interrupted, aye?
Sarah Drew:
(Laughs) Yes! Well, I can't say a lot but what I can say is that when we come back on February 27 we'll know immediately who April chooses. There won't be any waiting around and biting our nails. Her options are tough. There's no option that doesn't leave somebody hurt. Even if she tells Jackson to sit down; if she hesitates for one second, Matthew's gonna be like "Whoa! Wait, what?" And if she chooses Jackson; the amount of destruction she'd leave would be major. All of their friends and family and everybody who has come out to the wedding would be devastated. It's tough. One would've hoped that Jackson would've realized this a little sooner.

JJ: Well, since you said we're going to find out right away I'm thinking Matthew gets the girl. The quick decision is usually the safe one.
SD
: Hmm... Well, I don't know I guess we'll have to see. Both guys are amazing choices. April can't go wrong with whoever she chooses. She can go wrong with the amount of pain it'll cause.

JJ: What can fans look forward to this season?
SD:
There's a lot of fallout from what happens in the barn so we'll have a lot to deal with as a result of the choice that April makes, and there's also a lot of fallout at the hospital for Shane when Alex comes back. Also, the phone call the President makes to Derek causes some significant drama too. So expect a lot of drama this season. It'll be good!
