From writers Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn (Haven), the Grand Central is based on Stephen King's short story "The New York Times at Special Bargain Rates" and is in development at ABC for a potential summer straight-to-series order. It's described as a character-driven procedural with a supernatural twist. Shawn Pillar, Lloyd Segan and Scott Shepherd (Haven, Greek, The Dead Zone) will exec produce.

  1. I haven't read King since The Stand, but this sounds interesting, and since Jim Dunn, a Haven writer is involved i'll definitely check it out!

  5. Stephen King adaptations are more miss than hit these days and broadcast network summer shows aren't usually good either, so yeah not rushing to put this on my watch list despite being a huge King fan.,
