“ENLISTED” MARCHES TO FRIDAYS AT 9:00 PM BEGINNING JANUARY 24, ON FOX Raising Hope Moves to 9:30 PM
Beginning this Friday, Jan. 24, ENLISTED moves to its new time period (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT), following BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Raising Hope moves to 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT.
A military-set family comedy, ENLISTED stars Geoff Stults (“The Finder”), Chris Lowell (“Veronica Mars”) and Parker Young (“Suburgatory”) as three brothers who, when the best of the best are sent overseas, stay behind to try to keep the post in order. The series also stars Emmy Award winner Keith David (“Cloud Atlas,” “The Cape”) and Angelique Cabral (“Friends with Benefits”).
In “Pete’s Airstream,” the all-new time period premiere episode of ENLISTED, airing Friday, Jan. 24 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT), Pete tries to distance himself from his brothers and the platoon, which, of course, backfires.
In “Thrilla in Natesvilla,” the all-new time period premiere episode of Raising Hope (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), Burt (Garret Dillahunt) and Virginia (Martha Plimpton) try to help Barney (Gregg Binkley) and Maxine’s (guest star Molly Shannon) budding relationship, and in the process, end up in a fight.

This is the best news ever! Looks like FOX is not giving up on it yet which is awesome! Hopefully the ratings will increase now!
ReplyDeleteAs a Raising Hope fan, that makes me extremely sad, because it's likely to be the final nail in the coffin (the move to Friday nights starting in November already played a big part).
ReplyDeleteAs someone who very much liked the pilot of Enlisted, this is good news because it shows FOX wants it to succeed.
If Raising Hope ends next Spring, and unfortunately so far it looks like it will, at least FOX better offer a second season to Enlisted (if they manage to deliver after that great first episode).
Good news for Enlisted and another good behavior from Fox. I'm nicely surprised.
ReplyDeleteExcellent news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (:
ReplyDeleteA sensible change from FOX, color me surprised.
ReplyDeleteWhat does this mean for Raising Hope? D:
ReplyDeleteThey are only switching slots, RH is going to air at 9:30 PM.
ReplyDeleteYeah I've come to the conclusion RH is probably dead :( if it means Enlisted gets to survive then I guess I am ok with that as RH had 4 great years. But if both goes I will be mad.
ReplyDeleteHope it helps the show out
ReplyDeleteWell, FOX, you're only two weeks late, you should've done it BEFORE the series premiere, now Enlisted is already dead.
ReplyDeleteRaising Hope is also deadier than it already was, once FOX moved it to friday, it was clear that they've done a syndcation burn-off, at least they could announce the 4th season as the final one.
question is why didn't they premier it after Bones in the first place?
ReplyDeleteToo little, too late?
ReplyDeleteI really hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteWhat horrid treatment by Fox of Raising Hope, move Enlisted to try to get the Bones fans to forget to change the remote, good luck with that. Nothing against Enlisted, the bromance b/t the brothers is cute, but the storylines are just pure frivolous silliness.
ReplyDeleteI guess its good behavior by Fox if you don't work on Raisin Hope, just throw it under the bus, just not nice, but then who ever said Fox was decent?
ReplyDeleteSorry for Raising Hope! I was just so surprised that Fox doesn't give up yet on Enlisted that I didn't think about RH at all!
ReplyDeleteYou're right it is sad but unfortunately not new or surprising. In my opinion Raising Hope is a -good- show that Fox completely let down when it was moving to Friday during the fall.
Not only did the move help Enlisted but it also helped the ratings for Raising Hope..Fox wasn't being Horrid in its treatment of Raising Hope,by all rights RH should have been canceled awhile back but Fox kept it on the air.
ReplyDeleteFox is decent how could you say otherwise? If RH was on NBC or ABC do you really believe it would have lasted this long?
