  2. I understand the connection between Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, but can someone explain to me why they are attaching Law and Order: SVU into it as well?

  3. All three shows have been created by Dick Wolf and as such are all part of the Dick Wolf universe.

  6. I'm generally for there to be more crossovers in television. That was both shows would get a boost trough viewers getting interested in certain characters.

Revenge-Betrayal-Good Wife-Hart of Dixie-Blue Bloods could share a universe, some shows have a different tone and style and it'd be interesting to see these characters react in different enviroments.

Nikita-Tomorrow People-Beauty and the Beast-Arrow could have had some crossovers since they're all on theCW. TheWB did it once

    I'd pay for a Mentalist-Castle-Bones crossover

But generally I'd root for theCW to do a 'crossover' week with various characters from another CW show popping up in another without breaking canon. (3 mysterious siblings throwing a ball that is interrupted by an angry mob led by their father on Reign, a superpowered boy popping up on Arrow helping Oliver hunt down a crazed superpowered maniac, Carrie popping in a female cop hellbent to catch a killer that ran off to Mystic Falls on TVD, a guy that with superspeed and various other vampire like powers helping to catch a killer on BatB etc.)-

It could work and would be fun...

  7. Great news, I love crossovers. Best crossover was (Hawaii Five-0/NCIS: L.A.).

  8. I'm getting less and less keen on this idea. I like Chicago PD enough already to want it to stand on it's own. The odd crossover with Chicago Fire is fine but not too much as when I'm watching Chicago Fire I like to watch Chicago Fire and when I'm watching Chicago PD I like to watch Chicago PD if that makes sense. Add SVU to the mix just makes it even worse.

  9. Not to be mean, but most of your crossover suggestions would turn me off those shows. For example, Nikita and Beauty and the Beast; if I'd seen Vincent running around Division after one of the Shops experiments had gone wrong I'd have been like "what is this sci-fi sh*t doing on my drama show" and I happen to love sci-fi. I'm shuddering at the thought of Booth flirting with Beckett lol.

  10. When I watch a series I watch it because I like that specific series and not because I like other series on that network.

I do not mind a cross-over to introduce a new series spun-off of an established series, and I do not mind rare cross-over episodes between two series back-to-back that form a 2-hour cross-over event, but I do not like the idea of random cross-overs just for the sake of crossing over series by the same creator.

Frankly, No matter the circumstance cross-overs very, very rarely make for great episodes. Usually it shortchanges each series by shoehorning the other series characters in for short spells.

  11. So many cross-over ideas people have sound like very bad FanFic to me!

  12. Ugh such bullshit. I only watch Chicago Fire. I've never watched a SVU episode in my life I do not plan to start now. I was sort of ok with fast forwarding through Chicago PD but this is too much. If this is some kind of ploy to get me to watch all those shows then it's having the opposite effect, I might just end up dropping Chicago Fire all together if I miss too much by not watching the other shows.

  13. I gave up on PD after the pilot but I will watch the ep with detective Tutuola & Rollins from SVU since I'm a huge SVU fan. I do watch Fire and I get the crossover with PD. I just hope PD stay away from SVU, don't want screentime to be wasted from my precious detectives in NY.

I do not like SVU. I quit watching it because it was soo bad. I don't mind the Chicago Fire & Chicago PD though because they make sense and run into each other way more than you would think. Plus, DAWSONS' are awesome
