    But they won't ever die as the main characters, Esposito and Ryan are side characters.
    These two pretty much make the show for me, Castle and Becketts love story has lost me

    Ryan and Esposito are too integral, even as supporting characters, to the success of this show and their fan following has even garnered them inclusion in the People's Choice Awards with a nomination for Favorite TV Bromance...they're not getting killed off.

    It's not because the writers aren't brave enough but because Castle is not CSI or a soap like General Hospital where the cast is recycled every 6 months. Despite this they were brave enough to kill off Cp. Montgomery & kick out Ashley.

    Montgomery was expendable and replaceable, just like Gates is. Ryan and Espo aren't.
