    I kinda wish Jake would have lost, because he needs to lose more often (I liked that he was wrong in the last episode and the guy got away) but I'm sure the date'll be hilarious.

    Agreed. It would've given Amy a much needed boost as well. She's the one character they really need to focus on developing more.

    I actually think they're developing her fine when she's away from Jake- I love her awkward hero-worship with Holt and seeing her with Rosa shows her competitive side, but in a less cartoon way and they can have nice moments together. The problem is Jake and his inability to lose/be wrong (except for last episode, which was refreshing) like how he beat Holt's bet, or how he was with Holt figuring out who stole the money from the station and he had to explain to him how he figured it out- no, Holt is a police Captain and should be smart on his own, explain to the crook how you figured him out, don't make Holt look dumb just so you can shine.
