“Over the course of nine seasons, BONES has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can,” said Reilly. “Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of BONES as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!”
The fan-favorite series, starring Emily Deschanel as forensic anthropologist TEMPERANCE BRENNAN and David Boreanaz as FBI Special Agent SEELEY BOOTH, will reach its milestone 200th episode during the upcoming 2014-15 season.

ALMOST HUMAN comes to a dramatic conclusion with five all-new, action-packed episodes continuing on Mondays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) beginning Feb. 3. Kennex (Karl Urban) and Dorian (Michael Ealy) investigate a string of murders by a copycat of a serial killer whom Kennex’s father put in jail.
In this Friday’s (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) all-new episode of BONES, “The Heiress in the Hill,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of a kidnap victim whose remains were found buried at a park.

Damn it, I liked it airing on Fridays.
ReplyDeleteBut yay for the renewal! Definitely think it'll be the final one.
To be expected but it's good to know it's official. I'm glad the show is getting a proper send-off.
ReplyDeleteYay!!! We knew it was happening, but i didn't expect it this soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd its moving back to Mondays, guess that's it for Almost Human...
I'm not so surprised about season 10 but it's moving back to Mondays? Now I'm surprised! Wasn't expecting that TBH. Anyway so happy for Bones! YAY
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily. It's moving back to Mondays after Almost Human airs its season finale.
ReplyDeletenot a huge surprise but I'm glad it was renewed
ReplyDeleteYep,I keep forgetting AH isn't a full season.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad but not surprised for the renewal but the move back IMO is not the best move, hasn't Bones been performing very well on Fridays?
ReplyDeleteHappy for bones but what will happen to AH?
ReplyDeleteas expected it will get renewed but unconfirmed if final season or not........hopefully Almost Human will have season 2
ReplyDeleteit not a 22 episode so by that time it will be season finale
ReplyDeleteThey will probably switch places next season.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right since we don't know how many more, "if" any more, episodes we're getting. I suppose they could also move AH, but I wouldn't know where...
ReplyDeleteSomething's going to give in this schedule, and I'm afraid it's going to be Almost Human.
ReplyDeleteAH better not be cancelled just to move Bones back to Monday.......
ReplyDeleteYa, but I think the AH's writers/producers are waiting to see if they would get more on the order. It's not like Sleepy Hollow where they knew they had a 13 episode season. I mean if there's only 13, then we only have 5 episodes left and I'm pretty sure all of them are shot and that there's been no talk of episode 13 being made to be the finale. I hope they move AH and give it a few more eps so they could at least have a strong season 1 finish.
ReplyDeleteit will probably move to friday likely and I think AH rating are good enough to renew for season 2.......similar to bone before they move
ReplyDeleteI am extremely happy about the renewal, yay, I've been loving this season. I must say however that the move to Monday is extremely odd... Move a show from Mondays to Fridays only to go back to Mondays again all within the same season is just all types of strange. Why? The show is doing amazing on Fridays and could possibly bring up Enlisted with it. Sure, it will rate a bit higher on Mondays but we're not talking more than 0.5 and it's not like Almost Human can't do closer to that on Mondays... Seems like a net loss to me. Why not air more Almost Human and keep it on Mondays while airing more Bones on Fridays? Kitchen Nightmares could go to Thursdays at 9 since Rake is not long for this world anyway
ReplyDeleteAs far as i know now no.If the X-Factor doesn't get renewed or goes to once a week that frees up one or two openings, but won't know till May.
ReplyDeleteGee,be happy we got confirmation it was renewed! Hart Hanson and crew have said for the past 3 years they wanted 10 seasons,so if its the final season at least we have another full season left.Be happy!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same but AH only has 12 Episodes,so either it will be there season or series finale when Bones goes back to Monday nights.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering as well
ReplyDeleteYes,its doing very well on Fridays...
ReplyDeleteYay Bones!! :) I know it'll be the last one, but I'm gonna enjoy it for a while.
ReplyDeleteYay so happy right now
ReplyDeleteVery happy for the renewal and to see the confirmation official. A bit surprised that Bones is moving back to Mondays. Maybe it means that the show will be sticking around past Season 10??
ReplyDeleteI've never really been a fan, but I'm glad for those that are. Few shows last this long.
ReplyDeleteThere's several shows that'll go before Almost Human (Enlisted, Mindy Project, Dads, Raising Hope)... statistically AH has actually been rating better than Bones, New Girl, Brooklyn 99 and the four shows I mentioned so I'm hopeful it'll be getting another season too, unless other factors (eg. cost) affect the decision.
ReplyDeleteThere was a lot of talk this would be the final season of Bones so I wouldn't be putting money on it going beyond 10 unless they inject some life back into the storylines.
Good news! I stopped watching on a weekly basis last season but Bones is a show I'll definitely watch till the end and I'm planning to catch up this summer.
ReplyDeleteYay? As a long time fan, i'm pretty much over it now. Even though this season has been good. But i will stick with it til the end. And they really wrap it up after season 10, imo.
ReplyDeleteI had to give up watching a lot of programs over the last few years and haven't seen any Bones episodes since just after she had the baby. I've kept up to date with spoilers and really need to catch up over the summer when I have less on my plate. I would love to watch season 10, which is likely the last Live with everyone else and be involved in the discussions etc
ReplyDeleteThey don't have anything to air on Mondays after Almost Human's first season ends.
ReplyDeleteI just couldn't stomach the level of villain inflation anymore. I miss how fun the show could be but I do not miss how ridiculous it got after B&B finally got together.
ReplyDeletethey dont actually have anthing to air on Mondays though when AH is finished its 13 episode run. I dont know if they were hoping AH would be a huge hit and would extend the episode order of if its just piss poor planning.
ReplyDeleteIt's exactly like Sleepy Hollow where they knew they had a 13 episode season. That has been explicited since TCA 2013 and SDCC. There was never talk about more episodes, instead it was said more than once by Fox that SH and AH were in the new 13 episodes order model.
ReplyDeleteGreat for Bones. I am thinking they are sending Bones back to Monday to try and help The Following to atleast stay stable. But it might be too late. Olympics will have an impact on the Following and so will the return of TV.
ReplyDeleteI don't ever recall reading that. I remember having conversations with people that told me that they were waiting to see of they would get more episodes ordered and that we just started with 13 to see how it went.
ReplyDeleteBut it doesn't matter anyways. It's going to be what it's going to be.
well that was unexpected that Bones returns to Monday. Fox must be hard up.
ReplyDeleteMy point was that they should have extended Almost Human's episode order... They would gain overall
ReplyDeleteEven if they don't renew it, it's not doing bad enough that they couldn't extend its order.
ReplyDeleteLet's say that this is what will happen:
Bones: 2.0 Mondays
Rake: 1.4 Thursdays
Kitchen Nightmares: 1.2 Fridays
Total = 3.6
If they were to extend Almost Human, leave Bones on Fridays and put Kitchen Nightmares on Thursday, let's say this:
Almost Human: 1.8 Mondays
Kitchen Nightmares: 1.4 Thursdays
Bones: 1.6 Fridays
Total = 4.8
SUCK IT !!! GO BONES! GO BONES! GOOOOOO BONES \o/
