Apparently this scene happens somewhere in the first 10 mins according to the reviews I've read. Also something MAJOR goes down in the final 10 minutes as per reviews (i think it's when Vincent decides to talk to the press and reveal his identity).
I feel for both Catherine and Vincent. Both are hurt and angry and both have valid reasons. Its going to take V time to understand that C wasn't protecting Bob but was saving him from doing something that will forever end things between them. From going fully dark and beastly. This is the darkest we'll see our beloved couple. After this ep, the only way is up for them ;)
Im happy that they're finally broken up, like for REAL this time. At least it's a step forward. No way can these two stay away from each other. I can't wait for the rest of the season and hopefully season 3 :)
I get both V and C's reactions and I'm happy that V is angry and hurt that C would shoot him. It would have been pretty dumb had he been all accepting and understanding at this point in time. I think that C also did what she thought should be done. Shoot V not to save Bob, but to save Vincent from going all the way to the deep end. Vincent will understand later why Cat did what she did. For now, Im happy to sit back and watch V and C be honest with their feelings and thoughts for a change. That will help them move forward and rediscover the love that they both feel for each other :)
You're happy that Vincent is mad at Cat?????????? No, really, I'm laughing my guts out right now! The best part of seeing all the justifications people are throwing on his stupid SL is seeing they trying to convince the others and themselves that there's some point on this stupidity! You know, I'm starting to think that the show runners did the right thing on destroying VinCat. The fans deserve to see it if they'll abide for anything they put on the screen, no matter how absurd is. It's sad that the "loyal fans" are only loyal to wanting the show to be on the screen, not even caring if they're still seeig the same story or not. Worse, not even bothering to acknowledge that the producers are slowly scaring the few people that are still watching the show away.
Yes, this new season is great and it's getting a lot of people's attention because is so good. Just look at the ratings and you'll see how happy people are to have VinCat jumping on each other's throats like 2 people that hate each other.
Umm....if you had carefully read 'everything' I wrote you would have understood my point. After what happened in ep 2x08 it would have been pretty lame for V to tell Cat 'Oh thank you for shooting me. I understand why you did it' because we know how dark and beastly V is. I also said that in 'time' he will understand why Catherine shot him. And where in my comment or any of my comments for that matter do I mention the words 'loyal fans'? IMO if we are here commenting and posting then we 'care' about the show. The show may be ruined for you and I'm not going to sit here and convince you because that's not what I do. I state my opinion, NOT try to justify or convince others because we all have different views and different expectations. Most of MY expectations so far are being met. I am actually enjoying this season. Do I agree with everything? No. Was I fully happy with Season 1? No. But I like the direction the show is headed. It's not 'ruined' for me. Yet. If the story heads down a direction 'I' don't like in the future, then it's MY choice to choose whether or not I'll continue watching. And yes, I do acknowledge that a lot of fans are unhappy with season 2 and there's not much I can do about that unfortunately. Do I care and worry that they're losing interest? Yes because I don't want to see my favourite show lose it's great fandom. I want ALL of us to be happy with the show's direction and the only thing I can pray for now is that the remaining episodes surprise and please everyone.
I agree. The writers totally screwed up any good storyline. This is suppose to be a fairy tale story, not destroying the characters of both the actors who I happen to love.
I don't enjoy a lot of the writing this year or the coldness of the characters, but I am not giving up on the show either.I am only hoping it works out for the better because, like you,I don't want to see the show cancelled.Kristin and Jay are amazing on this show.
garsiv your posts are constantly putting the show down even one of your post said bye, bye to B&tB, another say kerns destroyed the show and now wishing they would just announce cancelation. Are you a fan of the show or not? If not why you still here?
VinCat will live on despite this next episode. It's going to be a turning point in their relationship but the beginning of a new story of VinCat falling in love all over again. Give the season and creators a chance to tell their story. It's going to be a great season with an amazing, happy ending.
I'm here because I want to be, the same as you. I WAS a big fan of the show before it was ruined with a ridiculous storyline done with the single purpose to erase S1 for reasons that only pleased Kern and no one else. What motivates me is just curiosity to know how much more absurd it can become. THIS SHOW I'M SEEING RIGHT NOW DOESN'T DESERVE EVEN THE 0.3 RATING IT HAS. You can say whatever you want, it still sucks and deserves cancellation.
Best quote of Episode 9 : Catherine telling to an almost-dead Vincent " don't leave me for this ! " (just because I shoot you ) . This should be one of the most absurd quote ever heard this season from a once intelligent adult woman , and make me finally realize what's VinCat 2.0 biggest challenge : trying to prove who's the dumbest ever . Tough competition . I'm becoming a huge fan of Tori and Gabe....
I'm sorry, you feel this way speaking as a fan as you say, you are but, they're are some of us who are still, hanging in, waiting for the story to be told, after all we've only seen 8 episodes, just like any story it has to be told, you along with a lot of alleged fans, have jumped ship just cause, you don't like the direction it's gone that is your prerogative, and for us who are still enjoying it please allow us to do so without all of the negativity, Thanks
I am hanging in there too though I have gone through lots of bottles of wine and lots of tissues and thrown a lot of things at the TV since the start of Season 2. I am expecting the promise from the showrunner that things will be worth it in the end, though that time needs to be before March 10, in my opinion, for the satisfaction of ALL of the fans. We keep being told it is reminiscent of season 1, would make it Episode 14 when we first saw the much anticipated "first kiss!" I am also happy now that in a few episode from this one, Sherri and Jennifer are finally back writing and others from last year are directing, etc. (no offence to some of the new crew this year).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope it is not the end of the next episode :(
ReplyDeleteBtw: Why do I have the feeling that KK has only the same 5 face expressions she is playing with?
aww, I'm loving all the Vincent whump. Not much of a Catherine fan at the moment.

Even, though they're at odds right now who are the fooling, with that intense chemistry still coming, through the screen, WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish they would just announce the cancellation already so I would stop seeing bs and people would admit that Brad Kern f**d the show up.
