Exactly, I think a better tagline would've been "Hero, Killer, or Both?". Oliver is right to try to avoid killing whenever he can, but at the same time, it's clear he won't get far by refusing to EVER get his hands dirty (and he knows that, hence killing The Count and not regretting it afterwards). His enemies certainly won't hesitate to kill him, even before push comes to shove.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really think this "hero or killer" thing is getting blown way out of proportion. The two things in question aren't mutually exclusive.
