I also hope that is not the case but I'd put the odds of it happening at about 50/50. I'm pretty sure that Rochev isn't really who she seems to be so I'm guessing she's either Talia or someone else no one has caught on to yet.
I'd rather she be the Isabel Rochev from the comics who had an affair with Robert, is obsessed with his company and "legacy", of course then her sleeping with Oliver gets a bit kinky, but it's still better than another "surprise Talia".
I think it's a bit too far along in the season for the show to properly build the Rochev character to mirror the comic version. At this point they'd have to reveal it all at once like they would the "surprise Talia" option you mentioned, which would be just as poor an outcome. I'm hoping for a genuinely surprising third option. :)
The show has a weird pace this season and I won't know if it's a pacing issue until the finale, but there are a lot of loose threads, a lot of characters in the wing waiting for development (Isabel, Thea) and I'm not sure how they'll manage to address it all/resolve everything by the finale. Hopefully the show has a surprising third option, I'd be open to one.
Interesting - she's got the hood-and-arrows thing going on as well. She looks amazing. I think it's really cool that they're going with a lesser-known character than Talia or Ra's to introduce the al Ghul family.
I would have no problem with that, but I hope the fan speculation that it's Isabel is wrong, I don't want another Miranda-Talia, Ducard-Ra's situation.
A special feature on the stunts in the factory fight in 2x05 indicated that every League assassin picks a weapon that they proceed to use regularly. Sara chose a staff. It seems Nyssa, like Malcolm, chose a bow and arrow.

I love her outfit...plus she's hot so that's a bonus.
ReplyDeleteKinda hoping for a Dark Archer armour update now
Looking Stunning.
ReplyDeleteCool outfit.
ReplyDeletethis looks pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI see that Oliver is playing chaperone to this meeting of theirs. I don't know why but that amuses me.
ReplyDeletestunning! the Nyssa actress is beautiful, I loved her in Spartacus aswell. Should be a good episode.
ReplyDeleteShe's like a cross between Ninja and Xena. with that outfit. It's pretty awesome. Can't wait to see this.
ReplyDeleteDamn...she's really easy on the eyes. Even by CW standards.

ReplyDeleteI suspect we may end up meeting her half-sister Talia first.
ReplyDeleteShe looks really cool, can't wait to see her in action (wonder when we'll get to meet her father, probably not till next season at the earliest).
ReplyDeleteWow, her getup is cool.
