What's the exciting about this? All the new shows are going to be fantastic, hilarious, people will love them just like all of their fall/winter premieres, which were also huge successes. The older ones are the best of their category, a trademark of the channel's excellence. And they are the best and most watched network, all the others are behind them and green with envy. Last week they accepted an extremely original script for pilot: the lead character was a strong woman who is perfect in her job but at the same time has a gentle heart and problems in her private life. There are professional and private jealousy in the story as well.
I just really love the TCAs. That's it. I look forward to it (and Upfronts, even though I'm still traumatized from last year. LOL) both times every year.
I'm interested in the news and in certain cases (like the CBS showrunner panel yesterday) I'm very interested about what those people said. But what ABC brings now - nope, nothing even mildly interesting to me.
If the book is a ripoff of the French movie than the French movie and series are a shameful ripoff of Yomigaeri (2002) and Yomigaeri is a shameful ripoff of Twilight Zone episodes. Chill out. Mott's book and Resurrection are VERY different from the french movie/series. I have read the book and seen the movie/series and the french is the Lynch interpretation of the concept, the book and Resurrection are the Spielberg interpretation (much more grounded, emotional, sweeping.)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Excited for this tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThe new number 1 networks in america.....yes the new NBC. And a shamefull remake of Les Revenants.

ReplyDeleteResurrection is not a remake of Les Revenants, it's based on the novel "The Returned".
ReplyDeleteRead the goddamm book!
ReplyDeleteJason Mott`s book Is a complete shamlfull ripoff of the french movie Les Revenants/The Returned (made to a french series in 2012 with the same name).
Tomorrow is the DOA day (except a few shows).
ReplyDeleteABC's TCA will only be funny if Paul Lee announces he is out.
Not at all. Les Revenants is totally not the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm here for Connie Britton.
