    At first I wasn't looking forward to 24 returning as I was hugely disappointed by S8 but then I was reading Alan Sepinwall's excellent book The Revolution Was Televised and the chapter about 24 reminded me how much I loved the earlier seasons. Now I'm hoping that the shortened season and the break will give the show a new energy to work with. I miss Jack and Chloe and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.
