  12. Where is Person of Interest? It had the best mid-season finale!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Arrow and Once Upon a Time had the best mid-season finales imo. TVD had the most disappointing one.

  17. Sorry, I don't watch it. I tried to add a few of the ones I don't watch, but when I submitted the poll I wasn't sure what had aired or not.

  20. Beauty and the beast #BatB without a doubt!!! It was a very emotional, and heartbreaking episode. I was speechless and my god Jay Ryan performance outstanding. .took my breath away!!! Can't wait for 13 Jan...after the ending episode 9 is going to be another roller coaster but bring it. #BatB S2 rocks and every episode has been amazing and can't to see what else is in store.

  21. Castle, Once Upon a Time, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have to go with Once Upon a Time. Just freakin' fantastic and emotional.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Arrow hands down, none of my other shows came close to being that intense for the mid finale. Bones was more sad than epic. SH was good, but previous episodes were better, although I really enjoyed the cliffhanger. SPN, nope. The Originals would be next, behind Arrow. That was really good. TVD was kinda bland compared to their other mid season finales. And tbh i Didn't care that Katherine had a heart attack. (She's still alive so, shrugs) And I felt TTP was actually pretty decent, didn't care for the very last scene though.

  24. Loved Grimm's Krampus but had to go with The Walking Dead - Too Far Gone. Amazing acting and a closing of the prison chapter, with the promise of a new chapter to come.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Revenge and Arrow for me.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I like SPN but that mid-season Ep made me mad but the best was the walking dead was way awesome it made me cry, scream, and cheer I loved it.

  28. Once Upon A Time Castle and The Walking Dead Revenge are my favorites can't wait for second half of the season I mad that I have to wait for March 9 for Once Upon A Time

  29. Only one choice? Outch that's tough.
I voted for OUAT but if I could vote for more than one, I'd say: OUAT, OUATIW and Revenge!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Wow hard choice between Castle, The Blacklist, Revenge, OUaT and Arrow. I went for Castle in the end as the episode was so much more than I expected.

    ReplyDelete
  31. My achy breaky heart bled for my brilliantly angsty Beauty and the Beast! Way to torture us fans til Jan 13. Stellar performances all around by the cast and recurring guest star Ted Whittall. Definitely a game changer!
Revenge was fantastic as well except that the shooter was pretty predictable!

    I don't think Grimm's was really a mid-season finale. I'm still expecting a Greenwalt-and-Kouf cliffhanger around #13 or so.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Person of Interest! The Walking Dead! Arrow!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Beauty & the Beast! The end was heartbreaking. Can't wait for January 13th to see how the story unfolds #BatB!

    ReplyDelete
  35. My absolute favorites were: Once Upon A Time, Scandal, Person of Interest, HIMYM

Grey's Anatomy, The Blacklist, White Collar, OUAT In Wonderland were good too.

    ReplyDelete
  36. What about Chicago Fire
    and the #SaveCasey thing?
    That was epic!

  38. Person of Interest!

    ReplyDelete
  39. The reboot on Once Upon a Time was fantastic. It really has me wanting March 9th to Appear soon!

    ReplyDelete
  40. POI's mid finale was not as great as Carter getting killed in front of Finch and Reese. The idea of a second machine is intriguing but not Mid season quality worth.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I had to vote Beauty and the Beast it was rather outstanding!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not really the idea of a second Machine? Intriguing but not that much and the background on Harold was interesting but no where near the Caliber of Joss being killed by Simmons.

Agent of Shield, Arrow, The Blacklist, POI

  44. I had to vote for Beauty and the Beast because it was heartbreaking and sad. Also Walking Dead mid season finale is awesome.

  45. All the people watching Beauty and Beast came here to vote.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't watch a lot of shows that have mid-season finales so I voted for SHIELD because everything is coming together nicely and can't wait for the next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Beauty and the Beast all the way!!! Season 2 is awesome!!! Can't wait until Jan. 13th.!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Beauty and the Beast all the way!!! Awesome season 2!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Revolution! SPN! Arrow! TWD! There is to many!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Next to arrow and the walking dead maybe

    ReplyDelete
  51. Arrow was nothing special lmao

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think Arrow has set the benchmark for how a finale should go closure, action, game changers and set up for the future so obviously Arrow hands down for me with a shout out to the Walking Dead

    ReplyDelete
  53. wtf happened in Beauty and the Beast? no really what? was the mid finale? I watch the show but busy and its all on dvr, but even I wouldn't think it would be no. 1.

    ReplyDelete
  54. László Harsányi25 December 2013 at 08:15

Unfortunately to many people "tragic" equals to (and enough to be) "great". Carter's death was tragic but at the same time in many points overly melodramatic and predictable.

On the other hand introducing a new factor in the show which opens dozens of new possibilities, turns the table almost as much as only a complete reboot could do, changes the core mithology and yet remains true to it - that is great storytelling and that's why the midseason finale was IMHO much better and more important than "Crossing" was.

  55. I've yet to watch a lot of them, but out of the three I've seen so far (Once, Revenge, The Blacklist) I'd definitely say Once Upon a Time. They completely reset the series and it was just so emotional and fantastic and AMAZING. Revenge was also great, a well needed game-changer (I was getting so sick of Daniel's stupidity), The Blacklist was okay, lots of action and all, but the cliffhanger (Red is the target on The Blacklist, I believe?) was a bit disappointing. Gonna watch the rest soon.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Beauty and the Beast

    ReplyDelete
  57. hey, don't worry :) Nobody watches everything... probably.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Agreed, it just keeps getting better, roller coaster rides are not as exciting

    ReplyDelete
  59. Beauty and The Beast ....fantawonderful! Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  60. The fact that Cara was clearly more worried about Stephen in that last scene in TTP than she had been about John when he was being held captive at Ultra was infuriating.
Ugh. Cara deserves Stephen, and John should realize he's actually into guys and ask me out... oops, did I say that out loud?

    ReplyDelete
  61. How bout that the Beasties are alive and well on spoiler tv :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. Beauty and the Beast!! Those #BATBWRITERS sure do take us on a roller coaster of Mystery, suspense, mythology and VINCAT awesome romance

    ReplyDelete
  63. LOL you're funny. You better get in line, b/c i'm pretty sure he plays for my team. lol I'm next when shit goes down between him and Cara (even though i ship them). Lol...but actually i wasn't even thinking about that when i said my comment. (Even though that really made me upset to see the look on John's face ugh!) When i meant I didn't care for that last scene. I meant that is was way too predictable, like we didn't know Stephen was gonna come back, pfftt, please!! And then him saying "We have to find my father's body" I'm thinking, well how hard could that be, call the morgue, see where he was buried, but then what?? You're gonna dig him up?? This isn't SPN, and unless Roger gave them an EXACT location of where he is, i don't see them coming out on top, b/c The Founder seems pretty on it!! He's really powerful and i don't see one of TTP lasting very long. I think there's going to be a casualty. Sigh. (hope i'm wrong).

Another thing that really bothered me was when John, Cara, and Stephen were arguing and talking about Roger, and Russell, was confused as all hell, John just came out and said he killed Roger. So my question is did he forget Russell was there?? And Seriously why didn't we see Russell react to that information?!?! HE WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE!!! And nothing, not a peep from him about that through the remainder of the episode. Smh.

    ReplyDelete
  64. White Collar all the way

    ReplyDelete
  65. The Good Wife and Hostages had awesome finales too

    ReplyDelete
  66. Once Upon a Time!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Felt exactly the same, wanted to pick arrow but revenge was exceptionally good. Also very sad, the we probably will not see any Robbie Kay on OUAT. Hope to see him on another show soon.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Who knows, maybe being a Tomorrow Person means a flexible sexual orientation. Haha.

But anyway, yeah, you're right. It was completely obvious that Stephen would come back, so the scene lacked suspense. That long, supposedly dramatic moment after Cara gave him epinephrine was just silly because we KNEW he was going to wake up any second. And yeah, I kept waiting for Russell to go ballistic after finding out John killed Roger but then it was ignored completely! Did he momentarily go deaf or something?
Also, I wonder what's gonna happen when they return from hiatus, we know Cara is the new leader but does that mean John told everyone the truth? Because he still seems to be around, at least, and I kind of expected them to be so angry that they'd kick him out for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  69. even though revenge is my favorite i felt that its mid season finale wasn't the best so i went with once upon a time because that episode was like seriously one of the best that they had in the series it was pretty emotional and action packed and i liked that they completely stepped up their game and that episode alone has made me beyond obsessed with this show

    ReplyDelete
  70. Can't choose. TV has been sooo good to me this year. Almost all shows I watched have either left me in awe, crying, shocked, gasping, so melancholic (POI, I'm looking at you), so ecstatic (P&R, I'm looking at you), so curious (Arrowwwww!) and so many other intense feelings that make me feel good about TV this year. Good job guys.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ha! Keep dreaming buddy. That is funny. I needed a laugh today, ugh. Anyways, I think they didn't make Russell say anything b/c they're saving it for the next episode. I also think that maybe Russell might've been in a lot of shock. I mean from the look of their relationship,Russell and John are best friends. So i think Russell will be really torn and won't know how to act around John now. So from that POV, i could understand his silence. If that's what the writers were going for. Maybe he was just in shock.

As for the returning episode, I think John did in fact tell them about Roger, and probably bowed down as the leader, he could've been too overwhelmed with guilt at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Arrow was excellent for the sequel but not so much for Arrow itself. So I agree and disagree. :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Well, I'm glad you got a laugh out of it - but if you're going to be mean, may I remind you that your chances of getting John are technically no better than mine ;) hahaha.

About Russell, I could see him going easy on John being they're close, but it seemed so odd that there wasn't a reaction AT ALL. Not even a cut to him just looking shocked and saying "What?...". It doesn't make much sense. The only way I can explain it is if Russell actually knew... maybe John had already told him about that, despite lying to everyone else? Now that would be interesting.

And yeah, I think John probably steps down voluntarily after coming clean about killing Roger, because he knows there's no way the others are still going to trust and follow him after finding that out. I think he'll probably encounter at lot of hostility at first, or at least he realistically should. I mean, I love him but he's stringing them all along for years.

    ReplyDelete
  74. loved Arrow and Sleepy Hollow

    ReplyDelete
  75. Pftt, you're crazy! All i have to do is go to LA and find him...Forget his wife. LOL well actually i'll give it a year. Lmao.

Yeah i know what you mean i didn't like that either. I mean at least a cut to his face would've sufficed. No, i don't see that. If John told Russell, he would've been in the lie right along with him. Idt he would go through with that. I think Russell's good nature, kinda outweighs his bad. And it would've been written all over his face.

You know what i would find interesting and interesting at the same time, If they actually kicked him out for awhile. And he had to crash at Stephen's. I mean he could go to a hotel, but i just feel this is more ironic. LOL

    #batb, #saveBATB, we love #beautyandthebeast

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yeah, my first thought was that they would kick him out for leading them on like that. But he still seems to be around in the promo. So maybe everyone is just going to ignore him like the poor unpopular kid in class, lol. It would be hysterical if he crashed at Stephen's house. Stephen's mom would probably make him cook and clean for everyone, get Luca to school and whatnot as a condition for staying, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  78. lmao Luca, that kid totally needs some screentime, like wtf, where is he? lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Thank you for always including Beauty and the Beast in your polls and not kicking us beasties out like ENews did! We appreciate it!
