ReplyDeleteAll that us fans can do is wait. Asif they arent going to get Lisbon and Jane together. They have made it very clear how they both feel about each other. I think the media are just trying to torture us fans. Lets wait and see.
I just don't see what jisbon shippers want to see. Heller's doing the last episode as them together for their fans but he's smart to realize a ship's not the majority of a fandom and many don't want to see them for different reasons. I think the boyf is out of place. Why did he not write it for the last two years.. it is a forced vice to put the last episode together. In the meantime have Jane date other women.

I'm going to guess a strong triangle, he will be with her near the end. I wish Heller meant his words because the bf is not serious.

Lets just see how it plays out. If in May they make it clear that there is no nothing between them, then we can get pissed off. But Mr.Heller has been repeating himself saying that they are in new territory discovering new things. Be patient, Jane has been mourning his wife for 10 years, he needs to let go and date, and experience thingsbefore he can make the decision that Lisbon is for him.
i think with lisbon's boyfriend and jane's god knows who this will not be triangle :D it will be bigger (sorry for english, it's not my neitiv lenguage and I'm just school pupil so ... :D)
ReplyDeleteLooking back, Heller's words are not too accurate. I'm back to thinking he may not put jisbon. I think he pulls the fans but knows to keep Jane ic and writing jisbon is a parallel universe.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a feeling jisbon will be written well if he writes it. Heller's not doing it because of their characters but for fans I think it will be more of last year. Bf's a story device and Jane will have to lose his Janeness. It's why I'm not sure if he is saying it to cool down fans and acting like it is a big "story."

ReplyDeleteIf you read Heller's words on September he repeated almost same words. It's why he is gonna talk pro jisnon but not write it. Jisbon is weakest and he knows it. He is better at pr and saying positives since season 4...like a writer should. Fans are important but more people are not jisbon fans. BH knows the vocal social media is more shipper and he words it accordingly.

ReplyDeleteAwful news to the show from Heller. I want to say, I don't "ship" any relation in any show, and I just limit myself to enjoy or not a plot based on the coherence of its elements, and how well or badly it is written.
ReplyDeleteJane and Lisbon's relationship seems written now to a point of no return. At this very moment, have them delay their development as a couple is a distracting device for the plot, which avoids any other arc that could be interesting. At this point, "Jisbon" has become a bothering element to the whole show if it becomes a key feature, this meaning, a key problem plot-wise.
I think that after all the straight forwards signals they have given each other, it may be time for them to concrete their relationship and really have the show move one to higher archs, not a will they won't they.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying they shouldn't be together. The exact opposite, at this point its water clear they should, and any thing that delays it works against the further development of the show which has reinvented itself and might be very interesting otherwise.
It never happened to me to have a relationship with a woman in the same terms Jane Lisbon is, and not to go upforward. It's not believable if they have another turn over the thing once more.
Let the show move on for the plot's sake.

ReplyDeleteThe "Kim" character hasn't really caught onto me. We already have enough arrogance, smugness, narcissism & cockiness in the show (and also from newcomer Abbot) that we don't need Agent Fischer. Hope she doesn't stay beyond Season 6.
