Van Pelt and Rigsby's story has been told. They got married, they got kids, a new job, they live 'happily ever after'. There are no any new stories to squeeze out of them. Everything in their lives ended the way it should be. Jisbon's story, on the other hand, is yet to be told.
I like that Cho is still in it. I never sensed any kizmet at all between Jane and Lisbon, so adding a possible love interest in agent Fischer is a nice move. The scene in My Blue Heaven where she reads his letters over wine was too much imho. Fischer's face or expressions really remind me of Van Pelt. So far I am happy the series will continue after the Red John case was solved, but we'll see how it pans out. I like the Jane character and liked previous episodes that were not RJ-centric, so proves to be good. Is it Sunday yet?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
"Face on the ground!" But still Jane finishes his hotdog. LOL. Must be the first one since two years.... :-D
ReplyDeletego away new people. WE WANT VAN PELT AND RIGSBY
ReplyDelete-_- is this the only thing you can say? O_o nothing about jisbon?
ReplyDeleteJane knows he has the upper hand no matter what it looks like to the others. He will wok with the FBI but on his terms. I can't wait.
ReplyDeletelooks it will be way more fun in Mentalist 2.0

ReplyDeleteI agree... they need new characters.
ReplyDeleteVan Pelt's character was annoying anyways. Not that Righetti is a bad actress, I just found the character terribly annoying most of the time.
