Yep. I personally think it will be an epic level of horniness. They'll end up having sex on top of a table in the middle negotiations or something of the sort, because this is a completely unsustainable level of tension.
Cant Wait! I hope e1 is right and this will lead to an epic hook up. But something tells me that's too easy. I think Alicia is playing around still denying her true feelings, and Will is going to get sick of it and have the last laugh eventually.
Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re going in that direction. I would like to see them together more than anything, but it’s more likely this is the beginning of the end…
Well, I don't really agree. The way I see it, the one reason why Alicia left Lockhart Gardner, as her brother so cleverly pointed out, is Will. She chose Peter, but she knows that if she stays around Will she'll fall for him. So she left. However, that doesn't solve anything. She's in love with Will and she's not in love with Peter. She will HAVE to deal with that eventually. She's postponing it for as long as she can, but it will catch up with her. And, IMO, a messed up kiss (possibly leading to something else) is a good way to show both Alicia and Will that they can't expect to deal with the issue by not dealing with it. That's honestly how I see the Kings dealing with the story. I may be wrong, obviously, but I believe they'll at least have to confront both characters. There was no closure for neither one of them.
Well, this is the way I would love it to see them getting on, but it is not as simple as it looks like! My guess is Will ends up in New York broken hearted because he has loved her gently from the beginning, never pushing the relationship, waiting for Alicia to make the first move, following her wishes… and he was never been “rewarded” for that... He loved her around him, working together, and she left him, betrayed him… Now, he is desperate and truly unhappy… Alicia will never leave her husband and children… I feel sorry for Will because his love for her is deep and persistent, and, YES, he’s mean now and not playing fair, but that is what people do sometimes when they are miserable…
You certainly might be right but my problem with this theory is that is avoids a central aspect of any (good) show: character development. Even if Will and Alicia never end up together, she has to realize she loves him and admit the real reason why she left Lockhart Gardner - to avoid being by his side all the time. And it being Alicia, I find it very unlikely her to not share her feelings with him, even if it's just in order to apologize. They do that, fine, they can each go their separate ways.
Alicia never denied (or admitted) that she left LG for that reason! It was pretty obvious in the last episode of the 4th season, but it was also obvious that she would like to move on, and admitting that she is still in love with Will would not get her there! I am sorry that true love is denied here (Ha, ha, now I sound like Shakespeare!!! But this is how I know English!), and I think that they belong to each other. Alicia and Will are just perfect as a couple. I don’t like Peter at all. Man can make a mistake, but not 17 times, plus Kalinda! Anyway, you are right about one thing (the least): some kind of clarification among them must be shown, soon!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Smiles, teasing, standing close. I can't wait to see this!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be amazing! Sparks are going to fly!
ReplyDeleteI give Alicia and Will five episodes until they hook up. Who wants to bet on it?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! And now that Homeland's S3 is over, it's good to see F. Murray Abraham on my TV again! :)
ReplyDeleteNah Alicia is playing Will and he is falling for it! The Fool!
ReplyDeleteThey're gonna snap under the weight of all that tension. Every episode seems to pile on more and more of it.
