Poll: What Was Your Favorite Scene in The Walking Dead "Too Far Gone"?
2 Dec 2013
Polls The Walking Dead
This week’s episode was the fall finale. Look for The Walking Dead’s return on February 9, 2014. This week’s poll has a few more choices than usual because the episode was just that good that I couldn’t choose only seven scenes! Remember that you can vote for more than one choice and don’t forget to add the ones that aren’t here in the comments below.

Rick trying to convince the Governor of everybody's capacity for humanity is one of the best scenes ever in the show.
ReplyDeleteRick's speech! still tearing up because I knew the governor would never accept it. Ugh, rot in hell.
ReplyDeletethat and rick and carl crying at the end just killed me
ReplyDeleteDaryl "The Redneck Jedi" Dixon exploding the tank!
ReplyDeleteRick (finally) talking to Daryl about exiling Carol. Daryl's reaction was spot on - definitely angry and upset but pulled himself together quickly.
ReplyDeleteAfter Lilly Chambler Shoots The Governor It Shows Lori As A Walker Walking Towards The Prison.
ReplyDeleteI picked the Governor being killed by Michonne and Lilly. Scariest moment: the hand coming out of the ground, like in Carrie.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Rick puzzled the parts of Lori (which were into the stomage of the fat Walker) together. Gollum and Frodo were also shown as Walkers.
ReplyDeleteLOVED that! It's implied in the Daryl meets Mitch - because really, without that 'howdy' Mitch would never have come out of the tank! LOL!
ReplyDeleteActually, that was Clara - the Irish girl Rick met in the woods earlier in the season. Robert Kirkman confirmed that on The Talking Dead. But it was very cool...
ReplyDeleteLizzie killing alishia and save tyresse, EPIC!!
ReplyDeleteDid We Actually See Carl Shoot Lori In The Head Or Did We See That Fat Walker Eat Her.
ReplyDeleteI think when Lizzie and her sister kill those walkers was just so powerful. Although we have seen kids like Carl killing before, the innocence of these young girls added to the intensity of the scene.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping someone would add that scene here! It was the next one on my list!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! And I'm betting Tyreese may have a different opinion about Carol's methods now...
ReplyDeleteRick's speech was amazing! I knew that the Governor would not accept, so i already was expecting the worst.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank good for Michonne. i clapped so much when she stuck her sword in the Governor. Amazing scene!
But what about Judith? is she really gone? Poor Rick and poor Carl.
Rick and Carl finding the bloody car seat. It was just so heartbreaking how Carl repeatedly shot that walker and just kept going even though he had no ammo left and then Rick and Carl fell apart in each other's arms. I'm thankful Michonne wasn't with him because then I probably would sobbed violently.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I really liked from the episode was the many homages to the comics. Especially the ending with Rick and Carl on top of the hill was the exact ending of the Made to Suffer story arc if I recall correctly. I wonder what will be next...dare I say...N***n? :-)
ReplyDeleteWe saw unmistakable traces of blood and how Rick opened the stomage of the Walker.
ReplyDeleteWe've still got plenty more horrific characters and locations before its worth introducing Lucille ;) The hunters, that mysterious group on the radio, the new town. They could end up anywhere next, I've not been this excited for walking dead TV show since we saw the prison in the distance.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't Lori dude. That was the girl from S4 ep1 Rick met in the woods
ReplyDeleteHershel's dead, obvious! I don't know why it isn't on the poll. whatever... this is the one
ReplyDeleteWhat a dandy episode!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was a great scene that brought together a lot of the strands from throughout the run of the show.
ReplyDeleteI was actually a bit disappointed by this scene--maybe because we had to wait so long for it....
ReplyDeleteHard to say re: Judith. She's dead in the comic book, but the show's totally veered away from the source material on so many fronts, that that's by no means a foregone conclusion. Aaaand, we never saw the body, and you know what that usually means.
ReplyDeleteWell, it IS the climax of the Rick's speech scene; Rick makes the speech, the Governor calls him a liar, and hacks Herschel's head off. All part of the same scene....
ReplyDeleteI had that on my list but cut it, so I'm glad you brought it up here! I found the scene a bit rushed though - I guess I wanted more...
ReplyDeleteThat was scene #11!
ReplyDeleteIt is part of Rick's speech scene - but mainly because this is a "favorite" scene poll, I didn't think Hershel getting his head hacked off would be anyone's favorite scene - maybe least favorite scene? ;)
ReplyDeleteI think she is. In the comics she dies at the Governor's attack on the prison. They wouldn't show a baby's death on television.
ReplyDeleteYeah . . . I knew we were losing someone in the episode. I was about 100% sure it would not be either Rick or Daryl (they'd be insane to killl Daryl, and Rick is the focal character, so he's about as safe as can be), and pretty sure it WOULD be Herschel, which was a total drag, because of everyone else left, he was the one I LEAST wanted to see go. Scott Wilson did a dandy job, and I'd have loved to see him stick around a lot longer.
ReplyDeleteDaryl with the tank. Weird it's not in the list.
ReplyDeleteUm, "Daryl meets Mitch"?
ReplyDeleteDaryl meets Mitch when he kills him, after the tank ?
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, my bad.
ReplyDeleteI picked Hershel's conversation w/the Governor, but the scene I absolutely ADORED was Lizzie killing those two Woodbury 2.0 peeps! That was just awesome.
ReplyDeleteI must say that all the scenes were great! And it was great seeing Michonne stab the Governor, but I also loved Daryl throwing the grenade in the tank. The entire episode was filled w/great scenes, IMO.
That was my favorite scene too! You could see how Carol's teachings really helped them.
ReplyDeleteI definitely wanted more as well but I liked what we got. He definitely was upset no doubt about that. I have a sneaky suspicion he's going to go out looking for her when he's out on the road with Beth.
