    I really liked it! But nooooooooooooooooooooooo, Kevin. I'm just going to assume Cas will show up and will revive him. I mean, you're not a hunter if you haven't died at least once, right?


    And whoa at the Gadriel twist. Did not see that one coming. And when I looked him, was redirected to Azazel so that's terrifying.

    To be honest, a good part of this episode bored me. But it did get better the second half. It was jarring for Kevin to go, but I expected him to be the name on the note :(.

    Didn't like how Cas stole another angel's grace. Doesn't seem like it should be possible? But I guess they needed him fighting ready,

    I still dislike how spn handles the angels. They're interesting when...their not like some wicked corporate soldiers. I half expect them to work at Enron! Their so stiff and..uninterrsting.

    Spn handles the red shirts pretty poorly, but then you have awesome angels like Cas and Gabriel and even lucifer, angels with depth and intrigue.

    Not my favorite episode, at all. But they can't all be winners! Still love this show.

    Great mid-season finale. It is going to suck waiting for the next episode. When Metatron told Zeke, he knew he wasn't Zeke - I thought for sure he was going to call him Lucifer. While that story line could be very interesting, I am glad they went with a new angel. I was also surprised that it was Kevin's name and not Dean's or an angel. Although, it was part of the promo so I really shouldn't have been that surprised. I know that Kevin was kinda random sometimes and missing at others, but I am going to miss the character. On a side note, I hope they explain why Cas didn't take another angel's grace sooner.

    Wow, this episode was fantastic. Actually, this whole season has been fantastic so far.

    Woah, at Ezekiel being dead and Gadriel being inside Sam's body this whole time. Talk about a major plot twist.

    I REFUSE TO BELIEVE KEVIN IS DEAD. CAS HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. Please :(

    Also, the scene where Dean is sitting on the ground and crying next to Kevin's body was just heart breaking. God, Jensen is such an amazing actor.

    Can't wait to see how this will play out in the second half of the season! It will be intense.

    With all of the other revival stories SPN throws out, bringing Kevin back shouldn't be that hard. But I hope that they learn from the past - killing and reviving characters really cheapens the death and emotional value.

    I was going to say this episode was good, but after that ending? Not anymore.

    They had better bring Kevin back because that was the most pointless and poorly written death ever for such a beloved character. The least they could have done was given him a heroes death, but no. After all Kevin has been through they kill him like that

    If I were Osric I would be pissed beyond belief at the writers. They didn't even try, they just tossed Kevin out the window like he was some kind of filler character that was in a single episode.

    I am normally pretty good with Bibical history - but I don't recall Gadriel. I looked him up Wiki said "Gadreel is listed as one of the chiefs in the fallen grigori of angels. This is depicted in the second section of the "Book of Enoch"; "Parables". He is said to be responsible for teaching man warfare. This is contradictory to the first section of Enoch, which claims Azazel to be responsible for this." So I don't think that they are the same person...

    Urban Dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Gadriel says that Gadriel was originally the one who seduced Eve - later, in Christian books, his name was replaced by Satan. He is suppose to teach warfare and beauty and seduce people.

    (And OMG I can't wait for Cas/Dean/Crowley Team Up, and OMG the last scene with Dean was so heartbreaking.)

    Not everyone can get a hero's death. That's kind of Kevin's whole story arc is that he's been used his entire life as a prophet until he was finally used up. They even mentioned it in the episode. Whenever Kevin trusts Dean he gets screwed over. It's tragic and it makes for good television.

    He was pretty much useless. He was doing nothing. His death shook up this sleeping show. Now suddenly we have motivation and drive and excitement again. It's probably the only reason I'm okay with it.

    I did not see the Angel Gadreel being the one in Sam..that is bait and switch. lol
    Loved the ep.
    This is what the Book of Enoch says about Gadreel.
    And the name of the third is Gadreel; this is the one that showed all
    the deadly blows to the sons of men. And he led astray Eve. And he
    showed the weapons of death to the children of men, the shield and the
    breastplate, and the sword for slaughter, and all the weapons of death
    to the sons of men.

    Okay . . . so it’s pretty clear now why Dean will be in "a dark place." Gadreel has taken over Sam’s body, and Kevin died. Dean will feel enormous, overwhelming guilt as a result of both actions. Sam is also going to feel tremendously guilty for killing Kevin even though it wasn’t his fault. Maybe that’s why he will be suicidal.

    I knew something was off when Sam punched Dean in the face because that is just not something Sam normally does. So it made sense that it was actually Gadreel who punched Dean. That also explained why Sam didn’t immediately expel the angel.

    It was sad to see Kevin die. I like Kevin, but Osric wasn’t used properly anyway. They never did much w/Kevin. He was always in a hotel, sobering up, or in a room by himself. It's like the wanted him in the bunker, but not really. I like Kevin, but can't say I was overly impacted by his death. Don't get me wrong - I don't think they should have killed him off, but I can't say I will "feel" the loss. Kevin was barely around.

    I will have to go back and rewatch the angel stuff. Admittedly, I wasn’t paying very close attention so I’m not quite sure what’s going on with the angels. They seem to be in yet another internal war, which is what they’ve been doing since S6. I’m not sure who we’re supposed to root for: Bartholomew, Malachai, etc. I know I need to rewatch and pay better attention.

    I did like Castiel taking back some grace. He works better as an angel. His human story failed, but they didn’t really sell it. It might have worked better if the writers had put some thought into it.

    I liked this episode okay. I can’t say I’m too worried about Sam. He’ll regain control of his body soon enough. I would be surprised if he didn't. The brothers will have to work through these new issues. The only other plot is the angel war, and I guess that will work out fine.
    And Gadreel is a huge liar. He told Dean that Sam was just fine, but then told Metatron that his vessel was a mess. I fear what will happen to Sam when he does expel this angel or when Gadreel is forced out. Will he just collapse? He seems to barely be alive!

    You're right. They didn't try w/Kevin. They barely wrote for him and then just decided to kill him on a whim. I must admit that I was not overly affected by Kevin's death. I don't think Kevin should have been killed, but they never really developed him much, you know?

    Did the angel parts bore you? The angels parts bored me a bit. As you said, they behave more like corporate business people, which is boring and uninteresting.
    I did like Cas getting some "grace" back. That was a good scene.

    After thinking about it, it makes sense that Kevin would be the best person to kill. He had both the angel and demon tablet - if there was any way to reverse the spell or take down Metatron, that would probably be the best source. I thought that Jensen's response was great and I liked the reminder that Kevin's trust without knowledge led to his downfall. I will admit that the trust line and death scene happened too close to one another - which could lead it to feel rushed - but it also drove home the point that Dean needed to share this information and he didn't. Kevin's death was a consequence of keeping secrets.

    That's true. Dean should have told Kevin to look out for Sam, but he didn't. This will provide lots of guilt for Dean and lead to his "dark place" in the second half of the season.

    I think that borrowed grace is going to end up being baaaaaad news for Cas... and please tell me they didn't really kill Kevin!? Maybe Cas can fix him... but that's the "quick fix" that the writers were trying to avoid... but I love him... so many feelings. And my jaw actually dropped at the Ezekiel twist. Well done there. Looking forward to picking it up again after the break!

    Ah, you have a point. As with almost everyone else on here, I agree that he was the weakest part of the show and his death was the only one that make sense. I guess I was just shocked about his death and rushed to think that Cas will resurrect him.

    The whole episode felt rushed, it's like a flashback to season 6. Jensen did to an amazing job with his response, which is expected because both he and Jared and amazing actors, but they didn't even give Osric anything to work with. I would have been more okay with Kevin's death if it didn't seem so meaningless because of, in my opinion, bad writing.

    I am not sure we are supposed to have a side in the third Angel Civil War.


    Angels are really brutal to one another. It is interesting to see one side blame the other for unnecessary deaths and then turn around to kill someone else. I kept expecting one of the angels to remind Cas how many angels he killed when he fought Raphael. Every time he was in shock or disappointed about angels killing other angels, I couldn't help but think of the war he created and the angels he has killed here in season 9.

    Yeah. The drone angels are boring as heck, and exactly like the leviathans and exactly like the drone demons. There's no depth to them.

    And seriously, if Cas killed nearly every angel in heaven, how are there fleets of them killing eachother on earth now??

    I love Cas, and some of the old angels, but this show needs to stick to monster of the weak format for its baddies.

    I hope he can. I don't know if he could heal an angel that's been burned out (I liked her! I wanted to keep her around) but he may be able to fix a human? He tried with that waitress last season, she wasn't dead at that point though, that Naomi & Co. had burned the eyes out of.

I am not but there will be someone that will but you are right there has to be consequence for Lying and Dean has to live with it and that's his down fall I do not hate Dean I just Hate the chose he makes with out thinking what will this do for me not knowing what it will do to Sam or Cass or even Kevin and seeing tonight's Ep there you go.

    Honestly, Kevin's death didn't instill me with any of those emotions you mentioned. It just fatigued me. It would be different if the death made sense, but with Kevin gone, it's not like the brothers are at some new disadvantage. A brand new prophet is going to pop up according to the rules, and maybe this refreshed one will be able to read the angel tablet. According to the show, you can't wipe out prophets for good; a new one always shows up. So why kill Kevin in the first place? It just seems like the writers wanted a cheap shock with no real consequences (apart from some emotional damage for the brothers).

    I meant meaningless in the way that they shoved it all in to the last couple minutes of an episodes when they could have spent so much less time on random angel violence that kept beating the same point in over and over again. The angels are killing each other, we get it.

    I also didn't feel any emotion when it came to Kevin's death. I liked Kevin and didn't want him t die, but his death didn't sadden me or anything. It feels unnecessary, but this show likes to do a pointless kill every now and then.

    when Sam did punched Dean I did say HELL YES! but he was ready to walk away like he all ways does but when he punched him I was kind of thinking that's not Sam too but he had us going there did he that was great. I can not think right now because I am freaked out of what they did and the preview of the next Ep scares me really scares me.

    Can I have your source? I just Googled 'are Azazel and Gadreel the same person' - I found a variety of sites that say they are different. http://www.atruechurch.info/bookofenoch.html and http://echoes.devin.com/watchers/names.html are just some examples. But like I said before - I don't recall any Gadreel from the Bible so I could be wrong.

    Yeah . . . I was shocked when "Sam" punched Dean. I was not expecting that, so when they showed that it was really Gadreel, that made more sense to me. Punching is just not Sam's style. Not to say he would never do it . . . . but he really never has while sober.
    I believe they may get Gadreel out of Sam in the next episode, or that's what it looks like. They may let this play out for a few episodes though before Dean can get Gadreel out of Sam. That could be interesting for a few episodes.

    My bad I miss red my first seach when I searched gadriel one of the links redirected me to azazel. It was dictionary.com and then I thought it had said it in urban dictionary but it didn't. Whenyou look up azazel on wiki there are some similarities to the two. But with the show they are more than likw two different people since azazel was the name of the yellow eyed demon if I renember correctly.

    Kevin's death just felt like shock value. It felt wrong. I'm tired of people dying so we can have a shot of Sam or Dean crying. What's the point of even investing in anyone or wanting to see new sides of Sam and Dean?


    Cas becoming an angel again interested me but not if it's just going to be more of the same misery or failure. The scene where he took the grace was by far the best in the episode for me.


    Lots of dead women - shocker.


    I think killing Kevin was a huge mistake. They seem to just want to throw away all the potential and all the diversity they ever stumble upon.


    They spent all that time trying to show Dean building a family, and they tore it all away, never to be repaired. It feels like a joke now.

    I don't think Sam ever had the chance - the angel was listening in, so he heard what Dean's plan was before it went into action. So he must have buried Sam down deep, smudged the sigil so it would be ineffective, and played his part convincingly when Dean had his chat with him. That's all I can figure.

    The show went from Dean halfheartedly hunting things and waiting for Sam to heal, to now acting to save Sam and giving him personal reason to go after Metatron like Bobby's death did for the Leviathans.

    I disagree. It changes the makeup of the season. Dean goes from being passive, to active. Same with Cas. There's this sense of danger, that Samis on danger in the hands of a killer who murdered their family. It does more than shock value. Hell, more than hat Jo and Ellen's deaths did.

    The majority of the episode was pretty dull. Even though I haven't been a huge fan of Post-Season 5, they at least entice me to keep watching with a pretty good midseason finale. This was boring for a lot of it, just magically fixed Cas not being an angel, killed Kevin in a lame way, and just on a whole annoyed the hell out of me... which kind of goes with how this season has been thus far: fairly dull. Now we get the Dean Winchester Show again... ugh.



    Glad for any fans who enjoyed the episode, but the only thing that's keeping me coming back next year will be Crowley.

    A few things:

    -Metatron: Call me ex.
    me:???????
    you want to be Gadreel's ex? and everytime we say my god, now should be my ex?it works in some situation though.

    -Angel to Cas: My name's Uriel.
    me: Uriel you are back? To save your best brother at last! who killed you with Anna, oh wait.

    -Metatron: I cast all the angel out, including those in the cage.
    Micheal and Lucifer are eavesdropping.

    -Cas only lost his grace for 3 and a half episode. why can't he be a human longer? I hope to see his struggle to stay human or regaining his grace. There are so many missed opportunity in his story,god, just spin him off.

    -seems the possible recurring Nora is not coming back.

    -What are they going to do with Cas next, Misha is signed for 14 episodes this season, so far including 910 he'll be in 5 episodes, that means in the remaining 13 episodes, he'll be in 9 of it, but he's now an angel again, doesn't seem like he's gonna tag along in men of letter bunker, so are we back at 1 line per episode season 6 Cas again?
    -Will that bad angel's grace have side effect on Cas?making him violent maybe, that could be interesting, he may need to rip that grace out again. But constantly depowering and repowering, killing and resurrecting Cas is getting repetitive.

    -Kevin was a loose end that needed to tie up, he doesn't really have anything to do, the writers already alter his ability from reading the tablet to translating the tablet just to extend the plot. but still very sad to see him go.

    -Can Chuck be back now? the writers can say he's deactivated when apocalypse end, but reactivate when Kevin's gone.

    -Called it, he wasn't Ezekiel, he's an imposter all along. a bit sad he isn't Lucifer, but new character, new struggle, still pretty good.

    -next episode they probably expelled Gadreel from Sam, does that mean we can see Tahmoh Penikett again? he's good.
    -So Gadreel wasn't Cas's friend Ezekiel, then why did he resurrect Cas in 903?
    -Dean kicked Cas again for the second time, Cas seem a bit irritated this time, I hope the writers don't ignore it and let these two resolve it on screen.
    -The opening montage is great, intercutting Dean's pray with everything that was going on so far, saying how Dean forgived Cas for what he did and needed him now, it's a bit disappointed that this episode they did't actually interact much.

    Well, it was far from Buckner and Ross-Leming's worst episode, though I was still cringing at parts. (like Cas praying. What the fuck was that?) Mostly I'm just pissed off that Kevin was killed. I'm not sad, I'm pissed off. He still had so much potential growth as a character, he didn't even get any proper resolution to his arc. It was gratuitous.

    Mixed views on this episode.

    I loved all the Dean/Sam scenes. The J's have got such great charisma and chemisty when acting off each other. They are the show, everything revolves around them.I just wish the writers understood that and gave us more Winchesters.

    On the other hand,the Castiel/ angels scenes were utterly boring.

    As for Dean, I can't blame him for doing what he did, it's who Dean is. He wants Sam alive and will do anything for that, even the most outlandish. It's one of the things I love about him; his boundless love for his little brother, and the rest of the world be damned!

    I even enjoyed the interaction between Zeke/Gadriel and Metatron; I found Gad to be sympathetic and a little similar to Sam in a way; trying to make up for something evil he thought he did and so redeem himself; but making the wrong choice of trusting the great manipulator Metatron.

    I'm not even going to mention the ridiculous way, Castiel got some grace back. Why didn't he do it before, if it was so easy?


    Don't know how to vote this one. Have to think about it some more, but I'll probably go with good the half-way line because of the bros. scenes.

    Metatron said he let everyone who was imprisoned out (which was probably more of the spell's doings, than Metatron). I took it as everyone who was imprisoned in Heaven and the cage was a separate entity in Hell.

    I think that Gadreel is a sympathetic character - he tries to do the right thing, but tends up doing the wrong one. Resurrecting Cas was the right thing to do. Gad chose to follow Metatron because Metatron promised to create a better Heaven - not knowing that Metatron is manipulating him as he did with Cas.

    yeah I think metatron mean angels who are imprisoned in heaven too, but there's a slight chance micheal and Lucifer are returning. It would actually be more interesting cause both heaven and hell are in chaos, even if these two are out, they probably will be depowered, thus cannot gain overwhleming influence.

    Now we have 5 fractions on earth:

    1. Team free will: Sam, Dean, Cas, Crowley

    2. Team Hell: Abbadon and her demon army, and possibly a few fallen angels

    3. Team Heaven: Metatron, Gadreel

    4. Team Angel A: Bartholomew and followers, bubby Boyle, a few rouge reapers
    5. Team Angel B: Malachi and his followers
    Imagine throwing Micheal and Lucifer into the mix, things could get really interesting.

    Gadreel had smudged the sigil, he showed the paint on his fingers to Dean. This is one show you can not be doing other things while watching, that is one of the first things I tell new fans, so much silent acting. I usually have to watch 2 or 3 times to catch every thing and once with CC on. I did not catch the correct name of the Angel until I saw it written.

    Actually I think that is the point on the show all along: You can't trust demons, angels or any other supernatural being, in the end they all gone betray you.

    I think it meant he was listening when Dean & Kevin were plotting how to kick the angel out of Sam, as it shows Angel-Sam around the corner listening in. Gadriel wasn't acting as Sam for the first 9 episodes, he was only doing it when Dean was spilling the truth in last nights ep.

    Gadreel said that if you change the sigil it will change the spell. Perhaps instead of making Gadreel unable to maintain control it is SAM that can't. So whatever the spell would have done to Gad, it does to Sam. Maybe?

    But that would have been an incredible storyline though! Lucifer getting cast back to Earth, and completely tricking Dean in order to get Sam back as a vessel to jump start the apocalypse again, then the world from "The End" could happen. I think I'm going to go and watch some Season 5 now.

    I thought it was good episode, definitely not one of my favorite midseason finales SPN has had. Someone else said this, but if Castiel could just take another angels grace, why didn't he do that so much sooner? I just know it won't end well, at all!

    I think my mom thought I went completely mental with Kevin's death scene. I wasn't prepare for the death of Kevin. I gasped so loudly, I'm pretty sure my mom was thinking, 'What is she gasping about now? It's just a character death.' No one stays dead long on Supernatural, but with no eyes, Kevin is kinda useless. Wondering who the next prophet will be now that Kevin is gone.

    I loved this episode! When Metatron came up and said that the angel wasn't Zeke I was like "I KNEW IT!". It just pisses me off that he wants to redeem himself yet he's going to be killing people for Metatron. I wanted to scream at him. I was all "Don't you see he is using you? He wants you to kill Kevin because Kevin would eventually discover that there is a reversal for that spell! He wants to rule heaven and if the spell is reversed all the angels will kill Metatron right away and he knows it!". It's just irritating. I really liked him too. I wish that he wasn't being so stupid right now! I knew that they were going to have to go to Crowley. That's the obvious route since he's been a prisoner since the beginning of the season. They need his assistance, unfortunately. I really hate that they killed Kevin off. He was so awesome. I cried when Dean was crying over Kevin's death. I couldn't help it. Now I can't wait for January 14th!

    If Dean didn't keep at least one tablet for himself, then they could always introduce a new one. There's more types of monsters out there than just angels, demons, and leviathans, so it stands to reason that there's more tablets out there as well.


    Alternately, now that Cas has his grace back, he should be able to find any new prophets that pop up since he has a connection to them (unless this new grace doesn't allow that since it isn't technically his).

    Dean and Cas were bonding over commenting how hot the woman who was raped and killed was. Because if people happened to forget it, April was the vessel. The woman who as nice and sweet (as the reaper said) was never in our screens, because she was possessed. So nice job to Supernatural on completely ignoring the noncon elements of that scene and joking about it a couple of episodes later.



    I don't think I even need to say how unecessary it was to freaking kill Kevin.


    So, awful.

    Yeah, Jimmy couldn't remember the message Castiel was trying to get to Dean, right, way back in season four? I mean the surviving victims of demonic possession frequently refer to the fact that they're fully conscious of what the demon is making their body do without their consent but we don't really know for sure what the victims of angelic possession perceive. Jimmy did say it was like being 'chained to a comet,' but the fact he couldn't remember Castiel's discovery of how messed up Heaven's future plans were, leaves me thinking that he didn't quite get the front-seat view of everything that was going on.

    Of course he doesn't realise that Metatron is using him. Judging by his reaction when Metatron tells him that he's the one responsible for casting all the angels out of Heaven, it's clear that Dean 'forgot' to tell him what actually went down.



    Of course, Dean might just assume that he knows - but even so, 'Zeke' has been locked up for a long time, since the garden of Eden, presumably before Lucifer reshaped Lilith's soul and turned her into the first demon. He hasn't exactly has a lot of experience with humanity in general or its morality. And also, last time he was topside, Metatron was probably still in Heaven, not MIA or king-to-be. Hell, all the angels were more or less 'united', at least in comparison to now.


    So it makes all the sense in the world that he wouldn't be that suspicious. In some ways, the limited amount of information he has leaves him with even less room for suspicion than Castiel should have had when Metatron first approached him; at least HE was used to angels betraying each other by that time. Gadreel is a complete fish out of water in comparison.

    I believe hlnkid is right. Gadreel has allowed Sam to be "topside" most of the time, but he took over when he heard Dean and Kevin talking. He faked a confrontation w/Dean as Sam, which explains why Sam unexpectedly punched Dean.

    In season 5 - they said that angels are tied to a certain blood line. It was why Raphael had to possess members of family, why Nick was decaying so fast and why Cas could possess Jimmy's daughter and Jimmy, but not his wife. So if Michael and Lucifer are tied to the Winchester line, it would have made more sense canon-wise to have one of them possessing Sam. And I agree that it could have been an incredible story line, especially if they tied it to "The End" like you suggested. It would have been awesome to have an excuse to see Adam again and it would have made the story feel more connected to previous seasons. Also, fighting Leviathans and demons seems kinda minor after fighting the Devil.


    But Gadreel also seems like a great story as well The boys have already defeated the Devil and they currently have to deal with Metatron, Abby, angel factions, demons and other evil things. Throwing Satan and Michael onto the mix seems just a little crowded, possibly redundant and potentially bad (meaning it would depend on the writers). I was happy with how the Satan story ended and I really don't want anyone to mess it up, Gadreel so far has been sympathetic, grey character, and he has a potentially interesting background - letting sin into the garden. He seems to generally want to do the good thing- and I think it will be interesting to seem how he justifies working with X. I can be just as happy with this story line as with a "The End" story line.

    I think you're right. The victims of angel possession probably don't perceive anything. It could be a vast "nothingness." Not that canon matters to these writers, but I may watch TR again to see what Jimmy said about his experience.

    Sam was high off demon blood when he punched Dean in WTLB. The only other time I can recall Sam punching Dean was in S&V, and that was at the direction of the Siren.


    Sam doesn't normally go around punching Dean when he's upset; Sam would leave first.

    I guess that is one way to look at it. When they first introduced the angels, I was happy to see the "other side" represented, but then they just ended up being demons in disguise. But, as you said, the point may be that no supernatural creature can be trusted.

    I havent seen the ep yet but I read someone's review. When I saw there was a female angel involved, I was, "I bet she ends up dead before the end of the ep." Two sentences later, the author writes she was killed by another (male) angel. Doesn't even surprise me anymore, honestly. And that scares me.

    Maybe they'll eventually kill each other off and we won't have to deal with them anymore. Since Castiel's never leaving the show, let him the be the last of his kind. Then he can walk around with an Oncoming Storm complex like the Doctor did for the first four series of the nu!Doctor Who. I'm just done with the angels on this show. It bugs me the title card for this season has the burnt angel wings on it.

    That does make sense, but he has been watching from inside Sam, right? I know that he's out of the loop about everything pretty much, but I feel like he should at least have the common sense to question what Metatron wants him to do. I just was hoping that he wouldn't agree to killing people for Metatron. I thought that he wouldn't go through with it because of the look on his face. He didn't feel good about killing someone, but Metatron can be pretty persuasive, unfortunately.

    I'm sad to say I never grew attached to Kevin but no one deserves to go out like that. And I hope fake Zeke finds redemption... he needs loyal friends like Dean on his side. He seems conflicted and wants to be a good Angel but ends up being exploited through his weaknesses. I am very interested in where they will go with his storyline.

    I am so excited about Cas getting his grace back! He is a HUGE reason I still hold on to this show...

    And lastly... poor Dean :(

    That might be the only uninfluenced time that Sam punched Dean... Because the others were all a different character riding Sam (Meg, Lucifer) or another Supernatural creature (the Siren), except for the one we already mentioned, WTLB.

    Apparently, killing people or angels doesn't mean that much to angels. They do it without much remorse.

    so Dean had to be asleep to help Charle the red head because of the gin did to her so he as Sam to punch him he did 2 times knocked him out it was funny.

    Lissie is right; Sam didn't stand a chance. Gadreel was listening and he took over Sam's body immediately and suppressed Sam. From that point forward, Sam had no control and was "gone." So, Gadreel messed up the sigil and then pretended to be Sam, punched Dean and left.

    I assume Sam is suppressed like Jimmy was. I haven't watched TR in a while, but I'm pretty sure Jimmy could feel what was happening but was helpless to stop or change anything. Sam is likely in the same position.

    I knew the so called 'Zeke' was smuggish but to him to kill Kevin was wrong. Haveto wait to see how Sam gonna get out of this and what is next for Cas and Crowley and how Dean gonna handle it all.
    It was an excellent episode :)
