I swear Scandal just turns my brains into scrambled eggs, between the switching allegiances, what is and isn't the tight decision, family drama (gladiator and pope family)... Lol
Really difficult episode to watch and keep up with because of the 2 week break. I'm going to have to watch it again for sure. But man, the twists just keep coming!
this was a good episode, not that great though. I kinda expected more, idk. the best of it though was the mama Pope mystery and Quinn and Huck scenes. I expected mama Pope was more than what she was leading on... I don't feel back for Cyrus, he actually got it coming and i hope James leaves him. Loved the Quinn/Charlie/Huck fucked up thing that's going on... The only thing that shocked me was Sally killing her husband, now that's a Scandal...
OMG!!! This episode just gave me all kinds of life. Huck and Quinn that was intense. Cyrus ans James was good. Quinn and Charlie was good. And the end with Liv realizing something about her mother that is going to be good to see what her mother really did for the comander to keep her for so damn long. Scandal you are the best.
This episode was really really good! I expected Mama Pope not to really be who she said she was. But Sally killing her husband!? I really didn't see it coming. So I guess she won't run for President now. I like that Quinn is on the Gladiators side again... kind of. And Huck licking her face was just disturbing. I thought this episode was the winter finale so I'm glad there's another one before the break :)
I don't feel sorry for Cyrus at all. He had it coming. For God's sake, James commited perjury for him, so I don't get why Cyrus feels the need to keep James in the dark about his schemes. Cyrus should have let James in on his plans.
Bellamy Young didn't lie when she said this episode is gonna be mind-blowing. - Huck was extremely creepy this episode, especially when he licked Quinn's face. Yuck! He really would do anything to protect Liv. - Jack & Fitz in the Oval Office was another fantastic scene. Both wanna be Liv's hero and boy, is she in need oh a hero. She might be a strong person but a lot of that strength she ends up giving to other people. RIght now, she needs someone to be strong for her. - Quinn broke my heart when she said that Huck hurt her and I like her with Charlie but I have a feeling he'll be dead by the end of next week's episode. - I loved, loved, loved James' sexual innuendos. Cyrus knew about it. James knew that Cyrus knew it. It was great. And I really hope James leaves Cyrus. As much as I love them together, I don't think they can recover from this. And Douglas sudden "absence" will probably ring some alert bells in James. - I really didn't expect Sally to kill Douglas, given that it would hurt her run for president. - Rowan is very... complicated, for lack of a better term. He's okay with killing 300 innocent people and faking a terrorist's death because she happens to be his wife?
"I don't feel bad for Cyrus, he actually got it coming and i hope James leaves him." Me too but I think he'll stay and might investigate why Douglas suddenly disappeared.
"Loved the Quinn/Charlie/Huck fucked up thing that's going on... " I'm curious how Charlie will react when Quinn stabs Rowan with that syringe.
"The only thing that shocked me was Sally killing her husband, now that's a Scandal..." I didn't see it coming because it pretty much all of her chances to become the next president.
- Jake and Fitz conversation was indeed brilliant. I actually thought Jake had the better arguments.
- :-) I also loved the drama between Cyrus and James....fantastic acting. I would also like to see them break up...but only if James stays on the show.
- I´m happy that Quinn is back at the right team now, but her behavior should still have consequences. - What an ending!! I did not see that coming. Sally finally lost control.... - Rowan is indeed complicated. I hope his arc will be done soon.
if Huck will do that to Quinn he'll do it to any of them.. he's freaking nuts
he could asked her questions about what she did before he started in on her... damn he's gone off the deep end.. I wonder if Quinn will be sticking around after this is all over.. I don't see how she can look at much less even be in the same room with Huck after what he has done to her..
and Cyrus got exactly what he deserved... he has treated his husband like crap for way to long...
Ole Sally.... bumping off her husband like that.. she's so holier than thou... about her beliefs when her beliefs suit her.. where were her so called beliefs when she took her kid for that abortion.... a few seasons back.... I wonder if she'll back mail Cyrus into helping her in some way with this... because she called him saying she'd done something bad..
Because shortly before her mother left 22 years ago (to take the trip with the blown up plane) someone had called her home asking for Marie and Olivia remembered that.
He did blow up more than 200 people, murdered some more during the years, tortured many others (including the pit-torture with Huck and Jake) and created little murderous brainwashed killers with the whole B613. So, yeah, you are right, he might not be pure, 100% evil, but he is still a monster.
What was her real name? And I may be dense, but just because someone called referring to her as a different name, how does that make her bad? And the fact that Olivia's dad banned the fake name from flying? I'm still not comprehending. Sorry, if you can please try to explain this
He's still awful, but I think he blew up the plane because it was being used as a missile, so they had to sacrifice 200 people before letting it get to its target. The wife was probably involved in putting a bomb on the plane. That's my guess.
"if Huck will do that to Quinn he'll do it to any of them.."
My thought exacly! If he enjoys torturing someone he loves imagine what he wouldn't do to his wife. Wow, creepy as hell. But that's Huck, he enjoys this stuff, which makes him the most dangerous of everyone on the show.
I don't think Quinn will actually do it since Rowan was at the promo like he was running away or something. If Rowan is at the promo does that mean Quinn failed? Too much can happen....
No sympathy from me for Cyrus either. This wasn't the first time he manipulated him for his own gain. And the plan was doomed to failure from the beginning...even if James hadn't found out he had anything to do with it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy shit at the end. I kinda saw Mama Pope being a terrorist coming, but not Sally killing her husband.
ReplyDeleteSorta feel bad for Cyrus.
Great episode!
I don't feel bad for Cyrus at all
ReplyDeletewhat the hell did i just watch

ReplyDeleteI pretty much said the samething when the credits rolled in. So many twists and turns.
ReplyDeleteI'm still processing what happened in the episode. My brain is fried from all the twists!
ReplyDeleteBellamy Young didn't lie when she said this episode is gonna be mind-blowing.
ReplyDelete- Huck was extremely creepy this episode, especially when he licked Quinn's face. Yuck! He really would do anything to protect Liv.

It was indeed.

Booo for killing DD.

I knew Mama Pope was evil.
ReplyDeleteJust because her mother was a terrorist, doesn't make Eli any less of a monster.
ReplyDeleteI am confused. Can someone explain how the name Marie led Olivia to decide that her mom was the terrorist?
ReplyDeleteBecause shortly before her mother left 22 years ago (to take the trip with the blown up plane) someone had called her home asking for Marie and Olivia remembered that.
ReplyDeleteHe did blow up more than 200 people, murdered some more during the years, tortured many others (including the pit-torture with Huck and Jake) and created little murderous brainwashed killers with the whole B613. ReplyDeleteIt is always a pleasure to see Cyrus in difficult situations, the acting is superb.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Sally, so I loved it. I hope Cyrus makes her squirm.
I don´t like Sally either. It will be fun to see Cyrus take her down.
ReplyDeleteF-ING EPIC. So many twists, so many turns. That scene when Cyrus started to cry and Mellie didn't know what to do was priceless.
ReplyDeleteWhat was her real name? And I may be dense, but just because someone called referring to her as a different name, how does that make her bad? And the fact that Olivia's dad banned the fake name from flying? I'm still not comprehending. Sorry, if you can please try to explain this

ReplyDeleteexactly
ReplyDeleteOoooh, that's a good theory. Plane hijacking 911 style... Mama Pope is a really really awful awful person if it's how it went.
ReplyDeleteNo sympathy from me for Cyrus either. This wasn't the first time he manipulated him for his own gain. And the plan was doomed to failure from the beginning...even if James hadn't found out he had anything to do with it.
