  3. Epic! This is how you do a great Mid Season Finale..Claps and claps! I think that after after shooting Emily, Daniel is going to be in a very dark place. He already is. And i think things is gonna be even more exciting when the series comes back.

So many things to know yet. Hope that the ratings will be good. That was amazing!

  4. HELL FUCKING YES!!!!

I am so happy Daniel is the one that shot Emily! This makes his character not be so dreadfully boring and make him SO much more interesting and cunning! Awesome job there, writers!

Yay, at Nolan and Patrick reuniting! I'm so happy for Nolan. He deserves it.

Woah, at Lydia showing Victoria the picture that Emily has been watching the Graysons for years. That really is going to mess up everything.

Freakin' amazing episode! Seriously one of the best episodes of the whole show! Revenge really knows how to put on awesome finales! A++

God, I can't wait to see how this will play out in the episodes to come.

  6. Wow, fantastic episode! This is the show I fell in love with in S1. Felt a lot more like a season finale than a mid-season finale. I was worried that we'd have to wait until the actual season finale to find out who the shooter was, so I'm so glad they gave us that (and holy shit, Daniel was actually not on my list of suspects). It was obvious from the beginning of the season that something would go wrong, but there were so many ways in which it would happen, and it didn't disappoint.

Can't wait until January! Thankfully the hiatus isn't for too long.

  7. Can't imagine how it's gonna go. Emily better be faking the amnesia cause that's always a cheap trick. it would make me really mad if it was real.

  8. Well I read an interview over on Tvline a few minutes ago with Sunil Nayer and the interviewer asked if Emily really did lose her memory and this is what Sunil said.

"She has at the moment lost her memory of all of it, and you’ll see how we play out the amnesia storyline. Because obviously, it’s quite the soap opera trope. [But] what we’ve done with it is [do it] the way that Revenge would do it: in a way that’s extremely satisfying… We wanted to do it, but in the way that the show is capable of doing things, where you never know who’s telling the truth at any given moment. So, we play with the amnesia idea in many different ways, from the first episode back, that you’ll be happy about."

So hopefully she's faking it. That will make things so much more interesting and different from all the other hundreds of amnesia storylines.

  9. I would definitely love that so hopefully that's the case.

  10. Epic beyond epic! When Daniel got that call from Sara's number I knew he was going to be the one to shoot Emily. And now that he and Victoria knows that Emily set him up it opens a whole new dynamic; Revenge is going to be soooo awesome now!

  12. This was one EPIC mid-season finale!!! My heart was pounding when Daniel shot Emily! I would have never guessed he would do it... Can it be January already!!!!

  13. I think this episode was just good, not awesome I expected a little bit more of emotions and revelations.

  14. I hadn't predicted Daniel shooting Emily either. However, as soon as he found out that Sara tried to kill herself, I knew he would end up shooting Emily. I can't help but empathize with Daniel, though. He wasn't perfect, but compared to the others, he generally tried to do the right thing, which is why it was so easy for Emily to manipulate him. And finding out that he was a pawn in Emily's scheme....I guess I can understand the sudden rage.

  15. Very good episode, though Daniel's reaction was a bit too forced. But certainly unexpected. My favorite scene was Emily's vows with the flashbacks.

  16. I don't really think it was forced. He finds out the person he loves tried to kill herself because he left her. Then he finds out that Emily, the woman he left Sarah for, has been lying to him and manipulating him the entire time.

"Why did you tell me I was gonna be a father?"
He was blaming Emily for Sarah's suicide attempt. In his mind, all of this wouldn't have happened if Emily didn't manipulated him into marrying her.

What I disliked about the shooting scene was Josh Bowman's acting, I just don't think he had the acting chops to portray the numerous emotions Daniel was feeling - from immense anger towards Emily for lying to him, to the worry and sorrow he must be feeling over Sarah's suicide attempt and Daniel's despair and shock of actually having pulled the trigger on Emily.

  17. I understand his emotions and most of his reactions. But to actually pull the trigger? This is not Conrad we're talking about - it's Daniel. Even if he feels betrayed and is in shock - it takes a lot more to pick up a gun that's lying around somewhere. Would have been more convincing if he'd just thrown her overboard, maybe after a struggle.

  18. I think it's unfair to compare Daniel to Conrad in this context. I think in a way it was a struggle for Daniel. Part of him probably wanted to shoot Emily but for the most part, he knew he won't. That's why he was so shocked when it actually did it. He shot her as a result of an impulse decision and not in cold blood.
