  1. This show is generally about crawling around in Klaus ass, I think I'm done.
No matter what he does wrong, others have to apologize.

  2. Tonight's episode was amazing. I really like how they've added other characters into the storyline like Davina and Cami. Looking foward to more scenes between Cami/Klaus.... I was hoping for a hug but NOOOO!!! And that ending tonight.... wow.... Hayley and Elijah are smokin'!!!! haha

  3. Best episode so far!! I'm excited for what's to come.

  4. Jan. 14th!! AHHHH!!!! This wait will be the death of me!!! I LOVED this episode, it was a lot more quieter than last episode, but it flowed, and OMG the feels!!! Both my ships are driving me crazy!! Klamille and Haylijah...wow!! Soooo electrifying!! I know i've said this many times, but I LOVE CAMILLE!! Just the fact that she was able to overcome Klaus' compulsion with all of her hidden messages. She really is special, and when she FORCED Klaus to show her his history, i couldn't help but think, Damn this woman is strong!! And she's HUMAN!! And she actually felt SORRY for Klaus, her reaction was unexpected, but damn she told him exactly how it is with him. And when he put his hand on her cheek, i was yelling , PLEASE DO IT!! Then he walked away, and i yelled F**kkkk!!! LOL

And then with Haylijah....I just...ughhhhhh...THUD!!!! She sooo wanted to kiss him, she leaned in a bit. And then he said "I should go" And she follows with "Right." But then looks back for him. He had to vamp speed his ass outta there. Hahahaha, i swear their next encounter, i really do wonder how much restraint he'll have. And Thank You Elijah!! For admitting to Rebekah that you've fallen for Hayley (sugarcoated but still) I loved all your smiling. You smiled so much, it was adorable.

This episode, truths were just coming out all over the place!! Elijah/Rebekah, Marcel/Klaus, Marcel/Davina, Davina/Hayley, Klaus/Davina, Klaus/Camille...i mean geez it was non stop, like a court room, everyone took an oath!! LOL I loved how the humans, sheriff, w/e tried to send a message to Klaus to teach him a lesson, it was the last brave thing they did. And i thought it was awesome.

As for the fans (me included) who thought that the wolves were descendants of Klaus...GOOD FREAKING CALL!! It seems our theories were right. Now my question is even though Klaus was talking out of his ass about "having enough family to last him a century" Or w/e he said, what will he do with this information?? Will he dig deeper?? I hope so. I for one, would like to know more about his biological father. I wonder what Hayley will do with that information when she finds out?? Whoa, that's exciting. And Davina!! Ugh!! I love you girl but damn!! Camille was almost safe, I mean i don't blame her. But damn. I don't even know what to say about that. Now Davina knows the truth about everything. Will she take her fury out on Marcel and Elijah? Or Just Marcel alone?? As for Rebekah and Marcel, i wonder what the secret is, that Rebekah is withholding that could make Klaus hate Marcel forever?? That raised a red flag for me!!

I am also glad that Elijah and Klaus kind of made a truce. Now was anyone else thinking about TVD during this episode?? I swear i only thought of it three times. One when Klaus was playing the piano, i automatically thought of Damon playing the piano. The second time was when Elijah and Klaus were arguing, and Klaus said "It always comes down to the little wolf doesn't it?" And i thought of when Damon was talking to Elena and said "Doesn't it always come down to the love of a woman?" And thirdly when Davina gave Camille her memory back, which of course made me think of when Tessa gave Stefan his memory back. But you know what really annoyed me about that scene?? The fact that we waited 5 yrs to see someone get their memory back from compulsion (w/o being turned into a vampire) in TVD, but in The Originals, we see it happen in episode 9!?! Seriously?!?!? Funny thing is Tessa and Davina both gave them their memory back, but BOTH the witches did it for self reasons. Hahaha, geez.

I have so many questions, my brain is racing with theories, and we have til January to figure them out..Heavy sigh!!!

  5. I hate mid season finales!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. …I love Elijah even more after this episode. And Rebekah, poor girl, once again Marcel chose power over her :( . I hope she finds someone else to love and loves her back more so.

I am glad Klaus admitted he was wrong about killing the werewolves (just yet at least).

As for Camille, I am sorry, I have tried so hard to like her, but I can't. I was actually happy at the thought of her leaving and then Davina goes and stops that. Grr.

I can honestly say I liked seeing the vampires being vampires when the "Faction" was killed.

I am looking forward to the girl time that should be coming up next episode. It'll be nice to see Rebekah, Davina and Hayley bond from what I've heard (yet to see the promo).

LOVED!! Elijah and Rebekah's talk about Hayley, that was so bloody cute. And then Elijah going to see Hayley- I swear the amount of feels I get from their chemistry is off the charts. Gah. I seriously thought they would have kissed, but am kind of thankful that they haven't just yet.

Everything about this episode was so good! ^_^

  7. That's a little harsh, this isn't Dexter in the later seasons where everything he does is fine by the other characters.

  8. EPIC!! This show turns me into a little girl. When Devina said she wasn't going to fix Cammie, all I could think was "No no no no no!"

I loved everything about this episode except that fact that Cammie and Klaus and Hayley and Elijah didn't make out. So much sexual tension going on it was ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I agree. I too am glad Haylijah didn't kiss, BUT I wouldn't have gotten mad if it happened. Haha...but it's a little too soon right now. I also would like to see Rebekah, Hayley, and Davina bond, that would be nice to see. Sorry you don't like Camille, but u tried, so that counts for something. I mean if you waited 9EPs. and still nothing, what can u do ya know? Anyways, yes everything about this ep. was good. : )

    ReplyDelete
  10. I wouldn't have complained either if Hayley and Elijah kissed. But slow and steady. They both know they like each other so that's enough for NOW.

I know. I think it's because everyone is pushing Klaus and Camille to be love interests and I really don't want that. I would prefer Camille with Marcel and have her and Klaus remain friends. If they weren't pushing so hard for Klaus to be in love with her, then perhaps I could tolerate her but I just can't right now.

I will probably get hate for this and so be it, but it's only my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I love Camille with Klaus, or by herself. I love her personality and her mind. If she doesn't get with Klaus, I'll be sad, but I won't be angry. She's a great character on her own as well, not just Klaus's "arm candy". TBH i didn't see the chemistry between her and Marcel, I might've for a spilt second, but I can't stand him. I Don't trust him, and the fact that he's tossing Rebekah back n fourth like a tennis ball really makes me mad. But as for Haylijah, when they finally kiss...call the ambulance. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think I could like Camille if she wasn't being made to be the love interest of Klaus. I think. I don't understand why he would care so much about her. I doesn't make sense to me.

But I agree, I have liked Elijah and Hayley since the pilot also :) . To me they're good for each other. LOVED Elijah fixing up her cardigan for her. They're seriously going to kill me with the domestic bliss feels.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I still really dislike the storyline of Elijah falling for the girl his brother knocked up. I find it odd Rebekah doesn't seem to have an issue with it. Hayley also annoyed me this episode. Didn't Professor Shane say that her family was dead? These are probably like 4th cousins twice removed - which most people do not consider to be family. I was also surprised that Klaus would remotely care what happened to his bloodline considering any family he had on his father's side has been dead over 1000 years - so I don't see why he would consider any descendents to be family. Also since he didn't know he was illegitimate before he became a vampire he probably never knew any of them.

So Rebekah told Klaus she was trying to make amends but was still plotting behind his back? I think Marcel was right - that would probably blow up in their faces at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I'm wondering if Marcel was the one who tipped off Mikael - which resulted in them having to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Actually i felt he wanted to, but Hayley wanted to more!! I mean if u look, she really did lean in a bit, and she was looking down at his lips. (Squee) I loveeee Cami, but i felt so bad for her, b/c we saw the pain Stefan went through when he got all his memories back. And he's 164 yr old vamp. She's a 28-30 (i'm guessing i have no clue how old she is) yr old human being!! This is going to destroy her even more. Davina has no idea what she's done. And i can't help but feel bad for Cami even more now than before.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Tipped off Mikael about what exactly?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I mean I knew Hayley wanted to I just didn't mention her wanting to because obviously she was about to until he said something. What would be a troll to the fans if they were like an inch away from kissing and then stopped just to tease everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sara is saying maybe Marcel told Mikael where Klaus was but I don't think that's what it was at first I thought they had a relationship behind Klaus' back but now I'm thinking it's more than that it's an interesting theory though.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Shane only said her parents were dead he didn't mention anything about any other family.

    ReplyDelete
  20. OMG!!! They're killing me!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvyE_EvjB1U

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ohhh ok gotcha. Yeah i think it's more than that. Something deeper. But i agree, it is and interesting theory.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I posted their scene up top. LOL couldn't help myself...I mean LOOK AT THEM!! HAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Now my question is even though Klaus was talking out of his ass about
"having enough family to last him a century" Or w/e he said, what will
he do with this information?? Will he dig deeper?? I hope so."

Well, he did go to the priest to get the werewolves protected without it looking like it was him so he didn't lose face with the vamps - though the price was getting Cami out of town which Davina may have just stuffed up.

And I really like Elijah/Hayley... though will take more effort on Hayley's part to, as Rebecca put it, "remove the stick from his butt" and stop putting Klaus before himself so much.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I want Klaus to be nicer to Hayley. He really treats her like crap. I don't understand how he could care more about a woman he just met, and not care about the mother of his own child. Then he wants to wonder why Hayley likes Elijah better.
As for Klaus/Camille...what the hell was that? Am I the only one who finds her completely unnecessary? What is her purpose? To write Klaus's memoirs? I was happy when I heard she was leaving. She has absolutely no purpose, and Klaus almost kissing her was just so awkward that I was embarrassed for the two. Please Plec, make it stop.
    I like Camille/Marcel.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The fact that he went to Father K was a good sign. But i'm really really wondering what he'll do with this information. For some reason i fear his next step will be a bad one concerning the wolves. I can see him tracking down Eve and threatening her for info or something.

Yeah Davina, totally messed that up. No good will come of this. Klaus will kind out, hell he might even try to kill Davina. But idt Elijah will allow that to happen. I like Davina but i wish she would've thought it through before giving Cami all her memories back. But like i said, she did it for self reasons. smh. According to the promos, it seems like Davina will try to take out Klaus and Marcel, hell maybe even Elijah, now that she knows Elijah was kinda using her. All this will be chaos, since the cat's outta the bag.

I think Hayley has strong feelings for Elijah, based on tonight it's confirmed more than ever. Which is what i wanted to see anyway. I loved seeing it from Elijah's side, but i wanted more from Hayley, and i felt we got that tonight. I don't mind the slow burn with them, but i just want them to admit it to one another, then they can have a real discussion about "complications". Aw man i can see it now...Very exciting. lol

    ReplyDelete
  26. I do get annoyed how they try to pain him, as if they try to erase all of the stuff they told us he has done from TVD. He is griping about family, but he doesn't exactly win any brother of the century awards. With that said, I actually really loved him this episode, when usually I want to pull my eyeballs out when he talks. But I for sure get where you are coming from.

    ReplyDelete
  27. He and Hayley did have some good moments where they actually talked while Elijah was daggered. Since Elijah is back Hayley has just clung to him and I think it really bothers Klaus - and I think he's sort of annoyed at both of them for pursing a possible relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  28. TOTALLY!!! Agree with you. I can't understand how the mother of his child will be expendable after she gives birth and someone whom he has just met, he cares so deeply about saving her life. Completely and utterly dumbfounded!

I too was happy when I thought Camille was leaving and then Davina showed up- grrr.

Klaus's so called feelings for Camille is nonsensical.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hopefully the secret between Rebekah and Marcel is not just that they slept together, as Klaus caring about that is getting to be annoying. Hayley being expendable after the birth is understandable from Klaus perspective given his family issues. Honestly, I doubt Klaus feelings for Hayley won't change, until at least the baby is born. I also assume Davina is the only witch that matters anymore at this point. I'd hate for the others to randomly show up again. The pacing on this show is still good, even I no longer have an idea where the writers are headed.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's bellow for me lol and I'm watching it and I can't help but keep watching it should've been longer.

    ReplyDelete
  31. ikr?? they better make up for that. But then again if it were any longer, they would have kissed. It's too soon for it. i'm thinking before the season is over, they might. Personally i just want them to come out with it before the season finale. The kiss i could wait for. (i think) lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hayley and Klaus need to have a sit down and talk, not argue. They're going to be parents.

    ReplyDelete
  33. What I don't get is how he considers Cami's life more valuable than Hayley's? Like wtf!!!
One is the mother of your child and one is some fake therapist who he's been using the entire time.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Did anyone else catch that foreshadowing reference to Hayley being Klaus's wife? Davina is a witch right? Maybe she can see into the future:)

    ReplyDelete
  35. If it were only mid season finales I would be more than ok with it. But it's the cw after all. Multiple breaks in less than two months after it returns this year and at least 3 hiatus before the finale on may. It's moments like this I regret watching anything on this network.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I dont get why Davina needs help from Cami, like how on earth is she gonna help her? She has no power :/

    ReplyDelete
  37. But it's Klaus so you can't really expect much.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I loved this episode!! It was great to see Klaus´s flashback, which made us understand him a little better. For once Elijah was the one doing the wrong thing.
A alliance between Klaus and Marcel might be interesting for a little while. I´d like to see where that is going.
Great to see Davina again, and good that she found out that Marcel is lying to her. I wonder how Cami is gonna help her.

I love Cami and Klaus scenes. And Marcel have noticed that Klaus cares for Cami, which puts her in danger.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I was yelling at the tv when he didn't kiss her.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Honestly if it wasn't for Elijah, I wouldn't watch. Klaus is not a worthy character IMO. He’s never nice but expects to be treated like a king, can’t be trusted but demands loyalty without earning it, crys about his families betrayals but daggers them when it suits him, is 100% selfish but wants friends. Has no morality or conscious and does everything with an ulterior motive. The only time I have ever found him interesting is when he was struggling to be a better person to win Caroline. The writers sold me on that ship and I jumped on. Now they want me to jump on a Klammy (hehe…my shipper name for them…) ship? No thanks. I still want to see how Klaroline plays out. I know they are on different shows, so I can be patient (for now) but please, writers, don’t waste your effort on building another ship that pails in comparison. I’m not interested.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don’t like her as a love interest for Klaus either. If he falls in love with her, then all the beautiful things he said to Caroline meant very little. IMO Klaus isn’t the sort to fall in love easily or frequently, first Caroline now Cami? I’m not buying it. I say leave him without a serious love interest until something can be figured out with Caroline. If they try Klaroline and it doesn’t work on screen or fizzels out so be it, but for me I can’t get onbaord another ship until I have closure on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And the witches may still have an elder up their sleeve that Davina doesn't know about... in which case so they'll still want Davina to die to finish the ritual andrestore all the girls to life.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think she just needed somewhere to go - she probably wants crash at her place. She doesn't trust Marcel or any of the vampires anymore, she can't go back to the witches and it seems like the only other people she knows are Cami & Tim.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think Sophie will be back.

I think Klaus' issue with Hayley is that he is well aware that she's clinging to Elijah and he has so many trust issues (it makes sense though - it does seem like everyone is always plotting against him) that I think what he told Elijah last episode was really how he felt. He's afraid that Hayley is going to insert Elijah into the role of being a father to the baby.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Lmao!! I held my breath with my jaw dropped, i didn't know what else to do...Then when he left i exhaled. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  46. Forget about Davina knowing it. Sophie KNEW that Agnes was the last one. And she has way more knowledge about this entire thing than Davina does. My theory is that Sophie will try to become the next elder. And Sophie will go after Davina to complete that ritual.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The writers obviously built this show on solid ground. I hope it has a better life than the Vampire Diaries. I would be devastated to see it become that. I just want to give Klaus a hug and Elijah a kiss.... I mean he's so handsome... and Klaus is so broken :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. I was curious about this show, so I checked out the episodes online recently. The only reason I was curious, was because I liked Elijah. I've watched all of the episodes, with some fast-forwarding, through mostly Marcel scenes. Here's a list of my thoughts, and opinions, on the show so far:

    LIKED:
    - Elijah. He is my favorite character on the show, if not the entire Vampire Diaries-Originals world. Anything involving him is a win for the show imo.
    - The Originals siblings bonding, and showing love for each other, in family scenes. For this episode, I enjoyed the Elijah and Rebekah scenes.

    - Elijah and Hayley have great chemistry. The development for their relationship is organic and done pretty well too. This could be a really great couple, if the writers know how to write it. I look forward to these two finally becoming a couple.
    - Hayley-Davina-Josh: What an odd pairing these three are, and yet, makes sense now. I liked any scenes involving these guys together, from Hayley and Davina scenes, to those ever-funny and cute Davina and Josh scenes. I hope they don't kill off Josh. Too bad he's gay, otherwise I'd root for Davina and Josh to be a couple.

    DISLIKE:
    - Klaus' childish, selfish, and distrustful rantings. I don't get why people love this character so much. He's a great villain, since he's pretty evil and does bad things, but can make us sympathize with him sometimes. At his best, I might be able to call him a classic Greek tragedy anti-hero. But he certainly shouldn't be considered the tragic hero of the story, or the star of the show, as some fans seem to think. The best answer to who is the protagonist, should be Elijah, imo.

    - Marcel annoys me. I don't find him to be a badass villain or anything. I generally get a sense that Marcel's a self-serving jerk, but aside from that, only Klaus has ever come across as the "big bad" evil, that we should be scared of, in the story. While Marcel does have good chemistry with Rebekah, he's a sorry excuse for "the love of her life", if that's what the show is going for. Rebekah really needs to find someone who can love her truly and fully. Marcel mostly seems to love himself.
    - "New Orleans is our family home". Isn't this just retconning just 'cause they wanted to make this spinoff? Their family home was wherever they grew up with their parents, which didn't seem like New Orleans. I roll my eyes every time Klaus says that line.

I generally find this show interesting enough to keep up with it online. I prefer not watching it live, because I need to be able to skip over scenes I don't like. As of this fall finale, I'm still intrigued with what's happening with many of the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  49. And despite originally being against the ritual, Sophie claims the ritual was working... though the Elders lied to the girls about how they would be "put to sleep" rather than slaughtered brutally, Sophie seems to believe that all the girls will come back, including Davina, if the ritual is completed - whether or not she's right will probably be dragged on for a little while as the "super-witch" is a major plot point but they also indicated there's a time limit to this ritual so they can't drag it on too long.

    ReplyDelete
  50. You could tell Elijah wanted to but resisted I wouldn't be mad if it happened either I liked them since the Pilot. As for Cami I actually like her and glad her compulsion is gone now it won't make her think she's crazy and she'll be more involved.
