Finally Nikita got her named cleared! :D This is the most awesome episode to date. Sadly, JUST 2 episodes left. :(
But I got to admit that I see it coming that Amanda faked her death. Maybe the final scene of the series is where Nikita and the gang lived happily ever after and she received a phone call from Amanda and saying "Hello Nikita". Fade to black. XD
Damn! Now that was a damn good episode! Even though I'm great at calling twists, for some reason I didn't expect Amanda to have faked her own death. Maybe cause Melinda Clarke is so deviously great as Amanda that I didn't think a clone would be able to pull it off. Looking forward to what comes left in the... *sniffle*... last 2 episodes.
another fantastic ep as this awesome little show that was so under appreciated rides off into the sunset... I love that Nikita finally got her name cleared, but you just know that with 2 eps remaining that it's set up for possibly the final dance between Amanda and Niki..... and I can't wait to savor those last 2 eps
Fantastic episode, action, explosions, epicness... I like that we finally got an explanation of what The Shop, or part of it, is (and who Mr. Jones is) that actually fit with their agenda. Birkhoff and his dad were sweet. Despite my annoyance with all of the Olex nonsense, I'm glad they had Sam revert back to this old ways and steal the diamonds. It was ridiculous how he seemed to become a loyal ally in like 2 seconds. Also, Alex was smart enough to give him fake diamonds with a tracker, yay! (She looked amazing this week, not that she doesn't always, and boy are her sassy lines fun.)
I'm not sure what to think about Amanda faking her death, I actually thought it would've been cool if she died for good in THIS episode, because we're all expecting her to go in the finale. Also, if what Team Nikita took down was just a branch of The Shop, how are they going to defeat the whole damn thing in 2 episodes? Jones' plan was clever though, the only way Nikita leaves them alone - her "price" - is if she believes it's all over, so he gave her that. Nice.
I liked seeing Ramon again but disliked that they killed him so quickly, what a waste. He was an interesting, layered character in 2x03, here he basically agreed to become a slave again in exchange for being able to walk... it feels like he was only brought back to hammer it home to Michael that Nikita ended up paying the price for his hand.
Next week should be amazing, Nalex are FINALLY together again! I can't believe it's almost over.
Unfortunately, no. The series finale on December 28 is 1 hour, as usual.
I'm a broken record on this, and it's no use crying over spilled milk, but I can't help feeling we would've gotten much more satisfying closure if this season was even just 10 episodes (like Gossip Girl's last season). For example, we could've seen Nikita on her own for a while before reuniting with the team, more character and relationship moments, The Shop's plan being explained more thoroughly, more fight scenes (because the ones so far have been pretty lame and lack the amazing choreography we've become accustomed to)... oh well.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
