I expected it to be Ryan... but damn that was painful to watch. To see him get captured, to fighting his way out, to almost getting captured again, and then having to jump out a window to his inevitable death just to make sure the truth got to Nikita. That whole entire sequence was amazing. Ryan got a fucking bad ass hit on Amanda smashing her face into the table! And him saying "No more secrets"... I felt it... Noah Bean is a great, underrated actor and that line alone was gut-wrenchingly good.
Nikita's phone call to Alex at the end was great. I love it. It started with those 2, it'll end with those 2. So incredibly fitting.
Next week is the end, and I am incredible excited but so sad that it'll be over. This show deserved to last longer, to have more viewers, but at least it got to have a proper ending. Let's see Amanda finally die! Let's have Alex live!
AWESOME!!!!! but hugely bittersweet as we lost the truth seeker and curator of the big wall of crazy, Ryan...... I figured that it might be either he or Birkhoff, but his made sense and to set up and sound the alarm for the final showdown to come.... I do wonder how they will compress everything that has to happen in the final ep, but this little series has never failed to deliver the goods onscreen to me, and I am soo bittersweetly excited to watch the saga come to a close....
One of THE best episodes in the entire series! I really dont know how they are going to wrap it all up in one episode! This show is seriously underrated it makes me sad
Ryan's death was quite predictable after last week. Still sad but I will be even more sad if the death was another character. See Alex and Sam relationship coming a long time ago. Still miss Sean but why not if Sam became a little more Owen.
Wow. I'm going to miss this show so much. Can't believe we only have one more episode and then no more Nikita. I'm absolutely in love with this version and I'm sad to let it go. This episode packed so much into 42 minutes, I can only imagine what next week is going to be like.
Co-sign to every single word. The sequence of Ryan's escape and then self-sacrifice was just amazing, Noah's acting, the beautiful music, and YES he was such a badass. He's far from just a genius - he pulled his hand out of that restraint and seemed like he almost crushed it, he kept going after being shot and threw the two goons off him... it's a bit unbelievable for someone who isn't trained for the field, but damn, so hardcore. He was going all out to expose the truth, no matter what.
That's something I forgot to mention, the music was absolutely on point for that scene. It added such an air of desperation as Ryan fled. That whole sequence, while sad, may be one of my favorite sequences of the whole show. It was so perfectly constructed. And I'd say just chalk it up to adrenaline and desperation to get expose the truth that gave Ryan the strength get out.
When Alex/Sam first hooked up I groaned. I'm all for Alex/Sam but never wanted it to be rushed. However, the aftermath conversation with Alex saying she couldn't be with him because he didn't even know who he was on his own and had to choose who he wanted to be for himself, and not who he thought she wanted him to be... that was a mature way to handle things.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ryan :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( It was a good ep, but Ryan :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

ReplyDeleteAfter the promo last week I was expecting Ryan to be the one too die, but it was still so sad. :(
ReplyDeleteWanted to cry when Nikita put her medal on him.
Props to Noah Bean who was awesome as Ryan since day 1.
