I enjoyed the episode. I felt uncomfortable like the characters not being in the CBI offices, but new territory to explore is great. I LOVED the last 3 minutes. The hug, Jane saying "we'll talk later", Lisbon saying "who is she?", and Jane's wink at the end.
Looking forward to next episode and the something Lisbon is gonna surprise Jane with.
I'm hoping a kiss! They did say that Lisbon was discovering feelings for Jane in season 5 and this season its about dealing with them. Maybe she'll admit to it next episode. Who knows!! I'm excited!
Trying to wrap my head around it! Jam packed. I loved Jane in SA he was loving the peace and quiet. The neighbors, the tailor, the hotel guy lol. I really liked Kim. Poor Jane. So she did not snitch on him but I hope next episode continues from the meeting. When did she know Jane was meant as her would be co worker? She did not straight up lie but she misled. The promotion was to work with Jane but when she talked she didn't hide it and seemed to be asking advice. I think she put it together after he said he was meeting up with people. Jane didn't get clued in because she did not lie to him or his questions.. I love that he became vulnerable with Kim and talked about his widowhood, his life, his work, and he took off his ring for their date!! He was disappointed she left and you could see he wantesd more but didn't know how or what to do. Small steps .. Patrick/Kim I love it and her taking care of him, making great tea... I hope this storyline continues.
So the FBI appears to have the upperhand but next episode is going to change it from the description.
Lisbon appears to like small town work or she was lying but hope she tells Jane she wants to be left out of the FBI.
Excellent episode. Simon does a great job directing. The FBI is tricky but Jane isn't afraid of them. He will get his terms. I can't wait to see what happens next.
"I’ve been meaning to apologize for leaving you on the beach that night. You being absent is the one thing that made this new chapter strange and sad.Miss you."
I liked this episode a lot. Hope it's indicative of things to come. -laughed several times. -loved the movie-ish feel to the episode. -Lisbon was particularly beautiful tonight. -Cho was great not hugging Jane. Keep true to yourself, bro. ;) -I'm really gonna miss Rigs and VanPelt. -liked that Jane and Lisbon clearly missed each other. A lot. -like the new, lighter tone. -Kim Fischer (?) reminds me so much of Van Pelt, looks-wise. -I really like Abbott. He's a strong character who makes a great contrast to Jane. Well done on the character creation and great choice of actor.
jane's confidence to get whatever he wants is amazing. and I love him with his beard, so cute! and the scene where lisbon and jane reunite - very well done. i thought, the whole time, that there was something going on wiht kim which isnt right ....
I was really prepared not to like this episode, but I actually liked it! I thought I was going to miss the basic elements of The Mentalist that we've known since the beginning and I did a little. What I enjoyed a lot was seeing Jane smile more. I liked that Cho is still Cho, stoic as ever. I laughed at Lisbon's, "Who is she?" and the best scene was Jane and Lisbon's sweet reunion.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
lol that FBI guy thought that Jane would panic and sign whatever deal he wanted. Jane seems pretty confident he's going to get what he wants.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed it the ending was sorta ????
ReplyDeleteof course we have to find what happens
ReplyDeleteJane is not that stupid to sign it without any guarantee of anything

Remember he had him sign 5 copies. I bet he put other stuff in those copies. Abbott did no read those before he signed.

ReplyDeleteSOOOOO BEAUTIFUL xD
It was 100% PERFECT!!!
ReplyDeleteThey need his insight in solving their problems! So, pretty much they will give in to his terms.. More or less.. :)
ReplyDeleteLoved it! As if they don't have feelings for each other. I roll my eyes at people who roll their eyes at me!
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode a lot. Hope it's indicative of things to come.

ReplyDeleteThere wasn't a single thing in there that I disliked. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI loved that Jane vs. the Drug dealers was such a farce.
