  1. i liked it, very confused as always but Tamsin is sooo awesome ha that dance off was so funny. Missed Dyson so hopefully he'll be back next episode.

  2. The scenes with Kenzi, Tamsin and Bruce were a lot of fun but Bo's bored me a lot, specially without Dyson and with the stupid idea Lauren has of the dark.

  3. I liked the episode although the pace was a bit slower than last ones.

    YAY Bruce is back,

    YAY Dance Off

YAY for more layers of Vex

Liked how Lauren and Bo went fo each other.

only two things that did not make it perfect: no scene wit dyson, but I can live with that after this season (I know I am complaining on a high level) and this sentence from Lauren to Bo "thats going to be ok now, because you are dark we can see each other" it was just to much and took away the credibilty for Laurens decision. Not that she said it but the way this sentence was phrased.

    YUCK the ice!

  4. Liked it very much! Aside from the funny tamsin and kenzi moments, this episode have a 'heavenly' like doccubus moment... XD

and yea.. drugged bo was hilarious!

  5. Unbelievably awesome episode. We have Bruce back, Tamsin is once again with us, and everything else is just the cherry on the top of this great cake that was that episode.

  6. I loved it!!

Dance off - To the death ! Although Tamsin's dance wasn't the best <3 LOL
Evony's angels :-) The Morrigan is always awesome! I hope we'll see more of her.
    Bruce & Vex :-D
And I really enjoy Kenzi and Tamsin spending time together.
Not a Doccubus fan, but Bo and Lauren were kind of adorable :-)
    I did miss Dyson...
And I want Bo to stay Dark, at least for a while..

  7. Lauren is a prisoner. Don't let the end speech fool you. It was obvious early on when her eyes lit up at the tray of party food :-p Ten seconds after Bo had gone I bet she was back in a cell with Crystal or something similar.

  8. I think Lauren was pretty much spewing out an Ebony scripted speech. She is not free at all and Ebony is going to use her to keep Bo compliant. You didn't think Ebony would really 'hide her' from the una men from the goodness of her own heart right?

Not as good as previous episode.

Way too much of the episode was spent standing around and reiterating stuff already known

    - After VERY nice character exploration of Lauren's character flaws last episode she's back to being sort-of-mary-sue-ish this episode, although its nice to see that she finally got some self-respect and is willing to take control of her own life.
    - As much as Tamsin hijinks are hilarious, I can't wait till the TRUE Tamsin is back, because the show is not the same without her snarking at people, punching idiots in the face and being drunk. Hopefully she gets her memories back soon and then we get that awesome back-and-forth she and bo had that has been missing for now.
    - Not enough Kenzi. Also not really liking all the revelations happening off-screen - Bo knew nothing of where Lauren is last week and this week she knows everything? Are we supposed to believe that Kenzi's "oh btw, I also hid from you that you gf was alright till now" stuff was offscreen?

Despite these complaints, the episode had quite a bit of awesome:
    - Una Mens plotline. REALLY interested where it is going. Is trick one of them now? He called her Yzabo which he never did and the box with the mind stone is empty.

    - I am 100% convinced Morrigan is Lauren's mother now. Lauren would not feel this safe and calm while in the Dark otherwise.

    - Vex backstory! Finaly!.

    4/5

Lauren has every right to hate the Light considering how they treated her. Her reaction would also make sense if Dark is treating her better(as well as if Evony is her mother)

  11. Lauren is human. I don't see how Evony can be her mother because surely that would make Lauren Fae. Not that it wouldn't be incredibly cool if you were right and Lauren turned out to be Fae after all (a late bloomer :-p). Somehow I just don't see it and I certainly don't think Lauren would no about it at the moment so it's no reason for her to be so relaxed. Lauren was incredibly calm in early season 1 when she was Light Fae Chattle. As long as she is being provided protection from the Una Men and has been offered the means to watch over and protect Bo as best she can I think she'd be compliant at first.

  12. I wasn't surprised he was missing this ep because the first four were Dyson heavy and it made sense as he wouldn't have really had a role in this story he'd have just been hanging around in the background. He'll be back next episode for sure.

  13. I actually dig the dark Bo storyline and hope it stays around all season. The light Fae are a bit boring to be honest and have really bad double standards. At least you know where you are with the dark Fae... (up shit street...)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well not so sure about that. But I really felt that the way that sentenced was phrased spoiled the moment for me.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh I just did not like the phrase of that sentence.... it felt off.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I really hope to see some Lauren Dyson scenes. Those were my favorite moments last season.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I agree! The Dark Fae is much more entertaining! I wish she'd stay Dark forever, but who knows where the writers will take us...
It seems Bo was convinced she would be Light Fae rather than Dark Fae, if she ever had to chose a side (but that would probably make the show boring, at least for me). But the way she acted in 4x04, very Dark :-) I hope they will portray a better picture of Dark/Light in this season. There are non-evil Dark Fae, but for some reason, they are still more fun to watch than the Light :-)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lauren would only be Fae if both her parents were Fae, otherwise Fae/human children end up human. So The Morrigan could be her mother.I don't believe she is, but I still believe Massimo is/was her son... That might get dramatic if she finds out Bo somewhat caused his death. Well, she didn't really seem to care about him that much, so maybe no drama?

  19. First of all, i love Kenzi and Tamsin friendship!! For me, they are like, the best Brotp, and i love seeing their scenes together. I hope this friendship and bonding will continue when Tam Tam get her memories back.

The scene dance was like one of the most amazing moments that this show had, so far. Rachel Skarsten did a amazing job. She and Ksenia were beyond great the entire time. Well done. Rachel and Ksenia have a amazing chemistry together.

I liked the Bruce was back, i really hope that he stay in the show. You know, some time and another. He brings a lot of fun, and the actor is great. Evony was great in this episode too, she had some amazing quotes. lol

I think that the Dark party was awesome, and really fun in a lot of ways. I must say, the dark faes seems to have way more fun than the light faes. lol

Now, what really seemed off to me was Bo. I don’t know how explain, but since she comes back, she seems different, and not in a good way.

Now, what really surprises me, and in a good way, was Lauren. All she ever wanted it is to be free, or at least, have some freedom in her life, something that the light fae never gave to her. She is human, and now that the dark fae gave her some protection and some freedom, she thinks that the best choice was be with them, and i totally understand her. she finally stand up for herself, and i think this is great for her character. And i think that the plot twist was amazing.

    Well first of all:
    1. I don't think Massimo's dead. He had the Twig didn't he?
    2. It would be far more dramatic for him to be the brother Lauren talked about if Bo caused his death.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lauren always had so high moral standards. That was the best thing about her. And now she is completely different! You can call it "character development" all you wont, but it's just bad writings and bad directing of the series.

  22. InvestedInYourFuture9 December 2013 at 18:24

Drugged Bo was overly drawn-out and it was pretty much exactly the same shit we got with every Bo's drunk or "bo's not herself" scene in this whole show. . "yes we know you love lauren, stop repeating it every five seconds to drag out the episode".

    ReplyDelete
  23. InvestedInYourFuture9 December 2013 at 18:25

You mean so obvious that show did not even hint at it?

Lauren has every right to be pissed off at the Light and prefer Dark due to treatment she received from both sides.

    ReplyDelete
  24. people learn to accept new things and grow, that's how life works- it's gray.
especially someone like Lauren, who adopted her high moral standards in effort to escape a dark past which she tried to keep buried for years. I actually don't consider it bad writing at all.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm half agree with you - Lauren is boring. The only thing making her interesting - is the sex scenes with Bo last season, which probably speaks to a general population fantasies about "2 hot girls doin' it". Since this season the series want to go in different direction (Bo not in relations with Lauren), the creators need desperatly to make Lauren more interesting, otherwise there is no point of keeping her around. So, instead of making her experience emotions in real time and push the actress to actually act like she is feeling something, writers come up with 1) dark past of beeng a terrorist (yep, all those years preparing for medical exams she took time to went out and bomb staff)
    2) after her terrorist career has come to an end, she decides to finally get her medical degree and become a strong and bright researcher who can deal with almost mythical staff - skills which are easily obtained, of course, between bombing and traveling (! sarcasm)
    3) suddenly she is just ok with Bo being dark, because "dark is funny and they can finally have a life".

    no, not buying it

    ReplyDelete
  26. ok I agree that Lauren's backstory is incredibly bad writing
but I don't think her to decision to work for the dark is.
and you have to appreciate the parallels between her and Bo where morals and dark pasts are concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  27. well, we already have Bo for this (dark past and morals colliding). :) enough in enough.
Although if Lauren gets killed and this will push Bo towards white and bright good - I'm ok with it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. enough in enough.

  29. Bruce, Tamsin and Kenzi are adorable together. I know a lot of people miss the old Tamsin but Baby Tamsin is so cute and funny. I can't get enough of her. I also like how Bo describes Vex as the brother she never wanted. That put it straight. It's a weird family.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't think it's bad written. Lauren was betrayed and imprisoned by the Light Fae. The old Ash cursed her girlfriend! And now with the Una Mens on her tail Lauren gets help and protection from the Dark Fae and not from the Light Fae. So I can understand why Lauren cooperate with the Dark Fae at the moment. The so-called "Good Ones" disappointed her very much.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well Evony dangled Lauren in front of Bo as a sign of 'how good a friend she can be' to manipulate Bo into hunting down Vex for her and not just on her own (fairly large hint). Lauren really did look excited by the food which may or not may suggest something. The line 'going to be ok now, because you are dark we can see each other' is the biggest hint because it doesn't make sense for Lauren to say it. They could see each other if Bo was unaligned. It does make sense however if Evony wants Bo to stay compliant to the dark Fae and is using Lauren to do it (VERY LARGE HINT). It doesn't actually ruin you 'Lauren is Evony's daughter theory' as I don't think that would stop Evony using her...no scruples and all that. However I'm not sure what kind of hint you were expecting them to drop without making it so obvious that the story line couldn't run on till next week.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm sticking with my original theory of 'prisoner'. The dark fae do not 'protect' humans so Evony must be getting something out of it. That something is Bo. The Lauren back story has got a bit crazy but that's the writers fault not the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Currently she has the Una Men after her so those 'high moral standards' = death. I don't think the terrorist story line detracts from her 'moral standards'. She was an eco-terrorist not a member of the Taliban. It was her brother who chose to target people and she has lived with the guilt.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Trick is the stand in Ash not part of the Una Men. For now anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't think it was to drag out the episode. I think it was to emphasize that the scene at the end with Lauren was a heartbreak for Bo. I think they could have just left it to Anna Silk though because the expression as she walked away said it all. Obviously they thought it was too subtle for some people (although I have no idea who needs quite that much help :-p)

    ReplyDelete
  36. There is an episode coming up were Bo and Lauren delve into his memories to help save him. I'm hoping that will have some good Dyson and Lauren friendship moments. I thought they missed a trick at the end of last season, I thought Lauren was going to turn herself Fae using Dyson's genes. Making them two wolves and connected but also territorial over Bo. It would have made for an awesome wolf bitchfest. Although it would have been awkward to figure out which ship people were talking about if they said wolfubus....

    ReplyDelete
  37. Do you guys think that Bo may have actually picked up on Lauren's clue? Bo stated, "whenever you're ready to come back to your real family ... just say the word" As for Bo looking heartbroken after walking out of the room ... could it be that she just got Lauren back and hated with all her heart to leave her in order for a plan to hatch out?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well excpet for Lauren and Trick nobody seem to be too clever. But Bo trusts Lauren to do so, just like Bo always forgives Dyson. Can't wait for the team to get back together.

IMO I highly doubt Lauren will be killed off! She is a vital part of the team and part of the reason the show has become as popuar as it has!

This was my fav episode so far. Loved almost everything about it! Was nice to finally see Bo & Lauren reunited, so to speak, something I've missed this season. Loved the Kenzi/Tamsin/Bruce scenes as well! The Morrigan/Evony scenes were amazing as usual! Vex's confession to Bo about why he joined the Dark Side was heartbreaking!
