Lost girl has turned into a fanservice show. They have so many plot holes to be filling up but instead its who is Bo kissing/fu**king this week? I could care less about Bo and i havent liked her since season 3. Lost Girl writers need to pull their heads out of their a**es and start writing consistent plots and redeeming the main character
They finally let Tamsin be on screen, so naturally I LOVED it. Not to mention the plot finally progressed a little, because otherwise the pace of this season's been really terrible.
What? Seriously? This may surprise the whiners, but Bo has had more sexual encounters in every season before this one. All they've really done is taken out those people she sleeps with completely at random. Even if you add up all the times she kissed or slept with Dyson, Lauren, and Tamsin this season, it still doesn't amount to the numbers of last season. Or the season before that. Or the season before that.
Bo has had fewer sexual encounters than in any of the other seasons. If you're going to base your complaint around that, then you need to do some math. As for the show becoming about who Bo is hooking up with, she's a freaking succubus. Every season before this has been about who she's hooking up with. The only difference now is that instead of focusing on one ship a season, they're focusing on all three.
And anyone paying attention should remember that Bo can't have just one sexual partner. We've seen that if she stays with one person, it doesn't matter if they're Fae or Human, then that person eventually wears down. Did everyone forget that when Dyson was the only one hooking up with her, it actually started to HURT him? Because I do. Even Kenzi noticed it. She was the one who pointed it out.
No offense but Bo being a succubus is no exscuse for her being a self centered jackass for so long. Her sleeping with people is no problem but for the writers to be focusing mainly on ships and teams instead of the actual plot is fucking terrible. Bo can sleep with all of toronto for all i give fuck but dont put that above tbe actual story and plot. Plus the pacing has been terrible this season.
While I will agree that the pacing hasn't been great, this is a very odd season, you're complaining about stuff that has been there since the first season. The ships and teams have been a part of the show since the beginning. As I mentioned above, they're only more prominent this season because Bo is exploring her options with all three ships.
But the number of ships don't matter. This season has had less relationship drama than any of the others. The people who are making them dramatic are the fans. Bo has been VERY casual with all three love interests so far. Bo doesn't seem to have a love triangle going on right now, despite what the shippers think.
You're blowing this way out of proportion. And just for the record, adding strong language to your argument makes your opinion less than worthless to me. If you have a problem then that's fine. If you don't agree with me then that's also fine. But do try to put at least some effort into your argument. If you can't argue your point without dropping f-bombs, then you don't have a point worth listening to.
I loved this episode!! And it's great that we saw some development in the plot of season 4 :-) Valkubus moments, Lauren and Dyson with their drinking game, a drunken Trick, Kenzi being Kenzi, and of course: Vex ! I wouldn't mind more episodes like this :-)
i know this is funny, entertained me? yess. but where's the plot?? the important thing is only the box with a jar full of black smoke, and how Tamsin meet the Wonderer. aside from that is useless fan service, wasting time. but yeah i still like Lauren Dyson friendship. just getting tired with the story, so inconsistent
The episode was awesome and from the looks of it the wanderer gets even more mysterious. The plot was good and it was interesting to see all those things.
YESSS. This was LITTERALLY THE BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON, that rivals the BEST episodes of the entire show.
Oh my god, my feels hurt.
- Dyson and Lauren bromance and rogression of their rivalry. Their interactions have been slowly changing ever since beginning and its nice to see the narrative contextualize the understanding and respect they grew to have for each other. - TAMSIN. TAMSIN TAMSIN TAMSIN. How good it is to see your snarky badass self back! - THAT SUDDEN KISS. - THAT SECOND KISS. - THAT THIRD KISS WITH THE JACKET PULLING AND ALL. This might just be LITERALLY THE hottest kiss on the entire show. Rachel Skarsten and Anna Silk are having nuclear explosion levels of chemistry there. - Just overall, EVERY SINGLE valkubus moment in the episode. Its so awesome to see them bond and have a genuine connection. - Its interesting that just when Dyson notes how him and Lauren keep letting Bo down, we see one person who has not let Bo down - Tamsin - helping her and supporting her.
Who is writing the show ? Did they hier shippers to write the episodes and they switch them from episode to episode ? That would explain all the crap we get this season. No continuity, no big story, only WTF moment, sloppy writing and Bo locking lips with same 3 people. Stop this tringle/square whatever and get back to fun stories and the heart of the show which is Bo and Kenzi!!
I seem to write this after every episode how great they are for me this season, but this one really had me laughing and jumping up and down at the same time. Time Loop - have been so looking forward to it, As a frame story it was ok, not awsome but not bad either. In the first time loop I was like - that was short, what are they going to fit that time? But they made a fun story out of it. And as always Lost Girl does it different. To have a parallel time loop with hale that was new. But also THE plot reveal was a anticlimatic. Who else than lost girl would do that. Wow Tamsin was sent to hunt down Bo for the Wanderer and he is her father and looking for her as mate (two theories merged) - no big surprise and that is how they delivered. Plot has never been their strength and loosing quality over the seasons, so I am glad they don't make a huge issue out of it. For me it's about the cast and thats what this episode gave me. HUGE HUGE thanks and very very happy: Lauren and Dyson bromance! Loved every single second. The Carwash, the hoping on the car and their shots game, so mirroring the fan discussions. I am enjoying the fan service a lot this episode, but not sure how others who only watch and enjoy are receiving the Show.
Another odd episode with a handful of really enjoyable moments leading to an overall decent installment. That seems to be the norm this season. I think working around a pregnancy and dragging out The Wanderer mystery is taking its toll on this season. It also doesn't help that, over halfway through the current season, the Una Mens subplot is still stuck in neutral.
Lost Girl has taken baby steps to improve some minor aspects of the show over the last two seasons (setbacks that happened after Syfy got involved) but there's still more work to be done. Before next season, with the entire cast healthy and ready to go, the EPs need to bring in someone to help with pacing, plotting, story structure.
I'm still enjoying Lost Girl well enough but I think there's plenty of room for improvement.
BEST episode of this season, so far! and i dare to say that it's the BEST episode of Lost Girl. Of course, im my opinion. I watch Lost Girl since the day one. and this episode brings together all the fun and amazing elements, and why Lost Girl it's one of my favorites shows in TV right now.
Tamsin is back <33333 and i love her. She is one of my favorites characters in TV, and i missed her so much.
Plus, Valkubus <3 this was a hardcore Valkubus episode, and i love it. Every minute. All the kisses, and all the scenes. For me, they are the best pairing. They are fun together, they balance each other very well, and Tamsin proved like, a billion times since last season, that she will always be there for Bo. She again puts herself in danger because of Bo, in this episode.
She loves Bo, and i don't think anyone could question this right now. Plus, it was amazing to see the flashback with her and the Wanderer. She had her memories back, she asked Bo to forgive her, and i love that scene when Bo says that 'none of that matters now' I Forgive you'.
Plus, the box. We're really close to see the Wanderer in flesh and blood. An he looks indeed a Big Bad.
p.s: Vex was hilarious in this episode. And the time loop was amazing. So well done. Kenzi and Hale were great in this episode too. Everything was great!
I was not liking this season, but this episode makes me so happy!! <3 Let's hope that the next episodes will be great as this.
As an avid fan of the show and not the "ships" i was dissapointed. Too many blanks left unaswered. Is Lauren and Bo still on a break? Why did Lauren kiss the Morrigan? When is Lauren going to explain Karen, Taff and Crystal to her friends? Why did the Unamens declare all humans a terrorists and killed but allow Kenzi and Lauren to walk out the cave? Why did Vex cut off his hand? Why was it infected? What happened about Kenzi's rash? Did she become hybird? Did Aoife die at Taffs compound? She seemed to suck the Cabbit dry?Did Dyson eat all of Taff? Dysons love life...he loved Ciara, Flora and Bo...so who is is real soul mate and does it wear off every 100 years? Why when Bo saw Dyson in the mirror did she not see Flora? What is her obsession with the human doctor, love her or let her go....Bo is not just a succabus she is a tease and she leads people on to hurt them. Not a great season for Anna to play her. However Lauren is having her best season, just need to be more fun and stand up for her self more. She needs to move on from Bo. Pining is not a good look on her or Dyson. Let Tasmin take her, both dark and they can ruin each other. We have what 5 more to go? Lets hope there is a plot soon...or im moving on also....
you will find most answeres between the lines and some more direct ones in the followoing episodes. 3x06 The Kenzi Scale 3x13 Those who Wander 4x01 In Memoriam 4x02, 4x03, 4x04......4x08 and some answeres still will be adressed a few will never be explored (did Dyson eat all of the gen-cabbit?)
I thought it was the best episode of the year. It is the only one that reminded me of what LG used to be like. I know that LG listens way to much to the shippers but come on having Tamsin and Bo kiss a couple of times to me is minor fanservice. I wonder if all the doccubus people were complaining back in season 1 and 2 when Bo was banging Lauren? Did you guys call that fanservice? Nope I bet you weren't were you?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Horrible
