No I never read that, the writers never even implied that, but I agree, the show would not be the same with out him, I love him and carrie together, brody can be a stay at home dad, while carrie goes to work lol, I am hoping it works out that way
For all the crap that the beginning of the season got, I have to say these past few episodes have been awesome! This was a fantastic episode, IMO . I'm just not sure whether I'm excited for next week or dreading it (as always with season finales, but more so with this). According to an interview with Damian Lewis, it's "devastating".
Wow. That was extremely tense. I loved the way that played out at the end. I figured out about halfway through the conversation what was going to happen but it had me guessing up until the end. Great work.
I don't even remember where I read it so I can't tell you, I definitely hope it's not true but I rather be prepared for it, maybe with the right amount of preparation I won't suffer it as much in case it's true.
This last batch of episodes, pretty much since Brody was brought back, have been truly awesome! They're even helping to make up for the atrocity that was the first half of the season. I'm actually looking forward to next week!
I think the CIA always planned to kill him after the assassination. Brody was perfect for the job. Not only because he was the only one that could get close enough to do it, but also because he would be completely deniable by the CIA. No one would suspect the person who supposedly bombed the CIA would be secretly working for them. After all, America can't be seen orchestrating the death of another nation's leader. Killing Brody after it was done, or allowing the Iranians to do it for them, would just be tying up loose ends. He has been mind-fucked too many times to live happily ever after; a heroic self-sacrificing death is the best he can hope for. I personally hope it happens with him sacrificing himself to save Carrie.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I know Brody's death is already a given but I really would love for him to live. Homeland's just not the same when he's no t on the scene.
ReplyDeleteWho said he was going to die?
ReplyDeleteI think one of the writer said that, I don't remember, I just read it in an article.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Brody was supposed to die. That's too bad.
