so loved getting Alexis D back onscreen and he is awesome at playing the creepy villain - I'm liking the European adventure of Captain R and can't wait to see it eventually tie in with the Portland scoobies eventually. Nice fight scene as Nick really showed off why he's "Decapitare"....
I admit, this one was surprisingly boring for me...it should have been more nerve-wrecking, but I was so sure that nothing would happen to Wu or Hank that it didn't grab me as much as it should have been. An story-wise, there was really not much to it, though I liked the little twist at the very end.
My Mom is visiting....She kindly sat here and let me watch the first hour ["I don't see how you can watch this stuff." :-) ] but I didn't have the heart to make her watch a second ep. :-)
This ep was a another straight up MOW...I liked that there were villains who were simply villains. :-) And I love watching Nick go Grimm on they a$$. And Hank helped. Need to watch the ep again...for some reason I felt like I'd missed something in the middle. Oh! LOVED Wu. :-D
I liked the team working together at Monroe's house.
It's so great that Nick can always rely on Hank to go with him on his cop and/or Grimm duties. Hank's the best partner a cop-Grimm could have. I don't think Nick could be as successful, or still "good" (vs. evil-ish like other Grimms seem to be), if he didn't such a great support system (i.e., Hank, Monroe, Rosalee, and Juliette).
I love it when Nick goes all badass with his Grimm skills and takes down a bunch of extremely dangerous (practically impossible to beat) villains.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
THe show continues to expand its murky-waters mythology of unique species and strange cases beyond the normal "wessen stuff". I like that.
ReplyDeleteThe promo though...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.
Sneaky writers! Going by Nick's flashback it looks like we already met the other Grimm and we never even realized it.
ReplyDeleteWell that was a fun two hours real nice seeing Alexis Denisof( Wesley Wyndam Pryce from Buffy/Angel) on this show

I liked seeing Nick go all Assassin's Creed on the Wesen brothers.
