Good episode but i can't stand Shane and Yang together...
Whoa,Shane talking to Meridith like that! Fire his ass,ha! right now!!!
So disappointed with the way they are writing Yang's character. I understand them having to give her a few reasons to leave but do they have to ruin the relationship that Mer & Cristina have had for 9 years. That is so wrong!!
And Ditto for Bailey. Why now,why all of a sudden does she develop OCD? I think its just lazy writing on their part..As is Arizona's pregnancy that we never saw in the storyline...
And please,i hope Jackson sweeps April off her feet before the i do's start!
Lastly,my heart broke for Alex at the end, standing in the doorway lip speaking his farthers words from so many years ago... his 8 year old self knows them by heart...so sad..
I agree about the way they are writing Cristina and Meredith. I think we are supposed to root for them equally, or root for Meredith, but I think she's completely wrong and the vid of her operation bugged me because it wasn't about curing for her, it was about her ego. I am really disliking her this season.
I don't like Shane and Cristina together, but I am glad that someone is in her corner after Owen has moved on so fast. I don't like how they are treating Cristina this year at all.
No other actor on Grey's announced a whole season ahead of time that he/ she was leaving. I think because of the popularity of Cristina's character, they feel like this season should be Cristina front and center or something like that. But they are doing it by turning Cristina into less than a worst caricature of herself... I have to wonder if she's leaving on good terms. I can see no other reason that Sandra Oh must have royally pissed off Shonda Rhimes for the Cristina storylines we are seeing this season. And Ross? Please make him have a tumor or something and die.. and quickly, please!! Or better yet, maybe this is all Meredith's sleep-deprived hallucination! Anything, ANYthing would be better than the barforama that is Cristina and Shane and the ugliness that is the Mer-Tina fight!!
Good episode. Glad that Webber is finally off the hospital bed. Eww at Cristina and Shane, what were the writers thinking? And Mer was the bitch in the last few episodes, but she started talking to Cristina and now she is acting like a bitch. Really hate all this fighting.
I agree, something is deffo up - Sandra Oh leaving after a season as poorly written as this? She either read the scripts and chose to leave or Shonda is punishing her (like she loves to do, Heigl anyone?) and ruining Oh's character she grafted for 10 years.
I really don't like the fighting either. Altough it's realistic to have some fights in a friendship, i just don't get this. I think meredith just changed after her pregnancy. Had christina made that comment a year ago, she probably would have reacted differently. I do get meredith, she's been under the shadow of her mother for such a long time, she's wants to prove her self. Christina had that drive from the beginning, and that was her ultimate goal, to become the best. Meredith has always been some what distracted with other things. Yes i think she reacted way to emotional. But what te hell with christina? It just felt as if she already gave it up. And the whole Ross thing makes me wanna puke. Worst character e-v-e-r. Yeah i find the storyline very confusing.
Still a jackson/april shipper. Loved them together, altough she just wasn't ready for it, Matthew is nice, but she needs some one to keep her sane, not cuddle her :P But the wedding is gonna happen i read somewhere, so i'll just eat my words. Loved the shower scene with april!
Derek's storyline is just boring, and is that a new thing.. sllutions just popping in his head?
Webber is just adorable :) Hope he can help bailey on the right path. Altough it shoud've been her husband doing that, right?!
And so over angry-alex already. Please give jo and alex somehing else to do!
She couldn't have read the scripts since the scripts weren't written last season.Shonda might have outlined where she wanted to take Yang this season, but i do believe Sandra decided on her own it was time to leave.
Meredith and Cristina know each other so intimately, and have accepted their differences so well all these years, it's just so unrealistic when they fight. Though, I guess this is exactly how ugly things can get when people who know each other so well fall out!
IDK- Shane seems just creepily hostile, more than in Cristina's corner... The elevator thing was completely unnecessary! Looking back, I think maybe it all started by the time he refused to work with Derek- How does a second year resident refuse to work with one of the best neurosurgeons? Especially when you compare the character that was a creepy doormat last season!!
- So Meredith had hard feelings towards Stephanie in the last episode for getting her kicked out of her own surgery and now they are working on the study together? Eh? - During all their fights, I tried to stay objective but Cristina was unnecessarily hostile this time. The way I see it, Meredith wanted to talk from one board member to another about Ross' recent behavior and Cristina made it personal. Her and Shane? Cringe-worthy.
- Please, please don't make Callie and Arizona go down the same path as Cristina/Owen. They didn't work out because they shoved their problems aside and had sex like rabbits instead. You can't a functional relationship without communication. Their relationship is doomed if they stick with their decision not to talk. - April & Stephanie want Jackson to go to the wedding and now even Matthew wants him there. As much as he wants to believe it, he's clearly not over her. - April, April, April. In the words of Meredith: "I'm liking you more and more." - Move on, Leah. - I'm not the biggest of the interns but I love how well RIchard is getting along with them. I also loved that he was the one to get through to Bailey. We need more Bailey/Richard scenes.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Jackson and April have to happen like last year. 'Bout freakin' time.

Never liked them together.
ReplyDeletePretty damn crap to be honest. Enjoyed the shower and thats about it. I don't know if I will ever like Meredith again after this season.

ReplyDeleteYay, a Callie and Arizona kiss!
ReplyDeleteI hope Arizona realised when talking to April's sisted that counselling with Callie is what is needed to be done to restart building a life together.
I loved Christinaand Shane's little dance. I dont like them together together.
F*** off Leah. Seriously.
