Reminds me of Liar Liar when Jim Carrey spits water every where in court as he cries "Oh come on!" Because really, Eli just has the worst luck. Peter's a freshly made governor and a rising star in the party, and this ethics committee woman is going to ruin it for him.
I don't believe he is the father of Marilyn's baby. I think they did thay to leave the audience guessing. But i do think its going to interfere with Alicia and Peter, because when Alicia finds out of her choice of name for her baby, its going to bring up allthe painful memories when Peter was unfaithful that its.going to cause a storm. Ive been waiting a long time for Alicia to finally deal with Peter's past, now we will get to see where her marriage is.
No, he isn't the father but politics isn't simply about the facts. Marilyn naming her son after Peter is a terrible visual for a man with a history of sex scandal. It will be interesting to see if Alicia believes Peter when he denies any wrongdoing. But at the end of the day, this will probably do more damage to his career than his marriage.
Agreed. The real father is almost unimportant, because in his position the "look" what counts. With his past most people will believe him the cheater, and with his power even the evidences against it (if there are any) will be considered as forged, to save his a**.
That was really damn good. I know that we are meant to feel bad for Will but I'm on Alicia's side - the way he was with the 'fantasy' Alicia in court, the whole I don't like it when your weak was kind of creepy! Having said that I do like Will vs Alicia, and I like that Will seems to be on the verge of a breakdown.
The ending was pure Good Wife and pure Eli Gold, I really have no idea where they are going with the Melissa George character, I thought it was for her to tempt Peter but now they seem to be making her all kinds of quirky and odd and I like that much more.
Wow, that was amazing! the scene that Will imagine their conversation in court was outstanding! The whole episode was amazing, and the last scene was hilarious!!!
Between Parrilla's performance on OUAT and this entire episode of The Good Wife, I'm too overwhelmed with emotions right now. I expected the 100th episode of TGW to be outstanding, but this, this is art. <3 The Emmy nominations just got very predictable.

I agree. The entire office party was awesome but that spit take by Eli was absolutely perfect. The infernal duo is going to continue with their schtick :p and this time Eli is going to be all over that baby's name.
On the other hand, we're in a sort of alternate universe where Peter ocould be an alternate toan actual VP or something, arhmmm
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome! Eli at the end was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble and his Australian accent!!!!!! is all I have. I'm sort of still watching.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this episode was awesome. I laughed and I almost shed a tear when Will was crying. LOVED it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't finished watching it yet but I wanted to make sure I pointed out that I got Kalinda's boomerang joke right :D
