  1. If you read my preview of this episode then you'll know that I wasn't very keen on this episode. I found the acting pretty wooden, and the script had problems...one of the biggest for me being the killing of a man who was doing nothing but protecting the temple of his Goddess against attackers and looters, hardly made our heroes 'hero like' :/

  2. I have to agree with you. I was actually pretty shocked how poor the script was. The whole story somehow seemed --- wrong. Jason eating all the meat although he knew his friends were hungry, the point you mentioned about killing the man who protected his temple, Jason running away from ONE single guy despite his 'super' powers, Pythagoras having some 'clever' ideas out of nowhere, Jason turning into a werewolf????? Really??? Are we going to have vampires next???
And then Ariadne and the castle crew turned up out of the blue. I has forgotten they existed!
It seems they were hoping we would be too blinded by Jason's frequently naked body.....

  3. Yep, the whole episode seems to be a success due to the amount of nakedness if the shows twitter account is anything to go by...

  4. I just watched the episode. I think this is intended to be a filler episode, a light and funny one. I laughed throughout the episode. And this is just my opinion that I think you guys are being too critical of it. After episodes of heavy storylines, this episode tried to go slow and just tell us something different than the usual format. I'm sure the next episode they will get us back on track.

  5. I, too, laughed at various points in the episode and I agree that a light hearted episode is needed between the heavier storylines that precede and follow it, but I don't feel that this one was fully thought through.

My issues had nothing to do with it being a filler episode but rather that the script was weak in places and the acting a bit under par. The very fact that the gang act like villains by stealing from a shrine and then murdering someone who is trying to protect that shrine is something I can not understand, or endorse as heroic or just.

  6. That killing part was understandably questionable. However, the way I justify it is that, Pythagoras said that the rabid dog creatures were cursed to be monsters, so maybe the monster was actually the rabid dog, so technically they didn't kill any human being? Or do you have a problem with it killing, regardless whom being killed?

  7. The problem I have is that they put the whole series of events in place by stealing in the first place. Not only from the alter, but also from the guy who hired them to kill the rats when Pythagoras and Hercules eat his food. It's not how the hero is suppose to act, therefore I find it hard to have much sympathy for them when it all goes tits up.
