Looks very intense! Is this just for 3x12 or for 3x12-3x22?
And why is Whale in fairytale land with Robin Hood at the 0.16 mark? Shouldn't he be in the land without colour? Very confused... maybe they get back to Storybrooke very quickly?
One thing I don't understand is why Belle asks 'do we know who cursed us?' at 0.08? Not sure what that's about...
Whale's in a hospital in that scene, there are not white walled electrically lit fairytale land hospitals, so I don't know. I guess they might get back to SB fast.
So, Enchanted Forest, the Real World, Wonderland, Neverland, Frankenstein world, and now Oz are also part of the same Universe? All their missing now is some Pokemon.
Hm, why does Revenge come back in January and this in March? I guess it could be because Revenge is one episode back from Once, and a fairy-tale show would trump Revenge in production with all that *bad* CGI, but still.. way to make me sad after that AMAZING mid-season finale! Also, the Storybrooke scenes could be flashbacks.. All that I'm really worried about is how the hell they are gonna bring Rumple back!!! </3
I would presume the 'Victorian England,' universe is a parallel version of our own universe where time moves at a slower rate than our own. Their are subtle suggestions of this such as Alice's fathers surprise at her return in the pilot and suggestion that although she had hardly aged she had been away for a longer time than the viewer may think. If you have ever watched 'Sliders,' there was an episode where they jumped into a world that was still in the 1980's and the characters own pasts.
The theory of multiple universes basically presumes that any universe that can exist - does exist. One thing they've never touched on though (which would actually be interesting to see) is whether or not each person has a counterpart/duplicate in any other universe. 'Fringe,' tackled this point with brilliant results!
I don't think so. There is a scene that Emma is in Regina's office and another one that Emma is talking with Belle. Well... I hope Storybrooke will be back because that would be the only way for them to find a way back to the Enchanted Forest !
I don't know about that because they could be tricking us with flashback scenes - but did you notice that Snow says "we are back" so, does she remembers her time in Storybrooke? And what about Emma holding what looks like the curse? I'll die waiting for March :(
Ya, I'm trying to figure out if Whale also stood behind for some weird catch 22 reason and Robin Hood and Hook bring "him" (whoever that is: Rumple? Neal? Henry? Pan?) to Whale and it sounds like either it's something magical or maybe like Ruby morphed and bit "him" or something!! XD
I don't think so. I'm thinking a group of them (Hook, Robin Hood, ect) leave FTL for some reason, possibly pertaining to the fact they need Emma to come back (aka Hook goes to her door and says as much about her parents being in danger), because our Wicked Witch is terrorizing everyone. It looks like either Whale was also left behind without memories, or he might be "playing" Doctor again to help whomever Hook and Robin have brought in with some kind of [magical?] wound?
Felicity: Final 5 episodes = 3 Timelines and/or constant changes in time line via time travel.
Lost: multiple timelines, multiple incarnations (Visions of Charlie, possible different 1996 in The Constant as Penny's and Charles Widmores' roles are reversed and Penny never confirms Desmond visit in the past when on the phone, explains different dharma tapes and mishistories, Chang's arms verses hand in various Incidents, ect), and ethereal (death) plane for one's essence to travel between corporate reality and spiritual progression.
Fringe: Near Parallel Universes, Multiple Timelines , and possibly different parts of time lines interfering with different parts of others.
OUAT & Co: Multiple Universe parallel not identical, but lacking identical counter parts, however you could look as a curse as a type of death, transition, convergence or reset and thus it is like a death, as the characters "incarnate" between realities, identikits, and kinds of existences
We know there are at least 13 - 13 doors in Jefferson's Hat
The Enchanted Forest/FTL/Giant Land (mostly everyone) The Land Without Magic (Henry) The Land Without Color (Victor, Gerhartd) Wonderland (Not sure if anyone is actually "from" here) Neverland (Pan, although again not sure if anyone is actually from here) Victorian (Alice) London (Darlings) Agrabah (Jafar, Cyrus, Sydney Glass)
Potentially and/or other kinds or reality:
Ethereal Plane/Pocket Universe between worlds (season 2 Henry, Aurora, Charming, Snow) Oz
But wasn't the Darlings' London actually in the past so it's technically part of the Land Without Magic? I think Pan kept them all alive for a reason. Could be wrong, though.
Not according to how this is worded, which is also reflected on OUAT WIKI
* The EPs explained that the events of Wonderland take place concurrently with original Once — which raises the question of how then Alice can live in Victorian England. “It’s not historical Victorian England; it’s fictional Victorian England,” Horowitz said. As with other realms visited on Once, Wendy Darling’s England, Dr. Frankenstein’s world and such “are lands of story” removed from time." http://tvline.com/2013/08/04/o...
He had been filming a major arc on Necessary Roughness, so his filming schedule verses when they shot the Storybrooke stuff might have been a conflict!
I think given the OZ allusions they have made with his character, he seems like he should have a more important role. At least we can hope, right? :)
Yes, the Wicked Witch is definitely on the castle wearing Regina's dresses! And about the clothes on that scene, Hook is wearing his leather coat as aways but Robin is with a normal jacket (SB style). I think afther 1 year the EF was cursed again by that new Witch and Robin was cursed this time, I would really like if Storybrooke were within the EF like you said but it doesn't make sense to me when I think of Whale...because the people will come back to where they're from and his not from the EF. I guess most of the people were cursed and came back to this world without magic and this time they remember who they are (based on Hook) but Snow and Charmig didn't come for some reason and they are in danger. So Hook left SB and found Emma to tell her that and will try to bring her back to save them again (and he will achieve). And if she will remember everything I have NO idea how this will happen... It's too complicated! Love it! Can't wait for Oz!

You're right about Robin Hood! Sorry!
I believe Regina said that only Emma and Henry would loose their memorie,s as it is more like Emma and Henry are cursed and the former curse for everyone else is now "undone" so to speak, which goes with the part of the promo where Snow and gang appear (transformed in FT garb) in front of Aurora and gang and says, "We're back!" -implying they know who they are and what happened.
Because of that might be why Storybrooke goes with them, because it's now apart of whom they have become 9Storybrooke is also made from magic).
I'm thinking that certain characters like Whale and Hook who were last in TEF before the curse might just be lumped together with everyone else. (Just makes it easier on the writers). Perhaps then some of the characters more aptly choose whom they want to be and Whale continues to play doctor up until a certain point where magic is needed?!
I do think that the witch comes to terrorize everyone and becomes one of the new primary villains of the piece, allowing for Regina and perhaps Rumple (depending on where he ends up/what his story will be) to be antiheroes (much like Hook) rather than current antagonists.
I agree about Hook and Whale ,it's easier for them to just come back to where they were when the curse happened but I hold on to my theory about SB return. How do you explain Emma on Regina's office and also talking to Belle about this new curse that she (Belle) doesn't know who casted?Or how Hook appered on NY without a curse (because there's no portal to our world without a curse, well... at least not one that Rumple knows)?
11: it was Jefferson's hat. Ok,the only ones he could use are wishes(complicated- the last genie is in Wonderland) or the slippers(weird- and I don't even know if you can bring someone with you) . Belle would never ask Emma about who cursed them in the first curse because everyone knew it was Regina, it doesn't make sense. Let's wait until March... And we'll all see what crazy stories they wrote for us!;)
Is the fun fact when Hook knocked on her door and she opened and if you notice real closely you can see Hook isn't wearing a hook but instead a black glove and it was confirmed again when he fall back to the wall after he was kneed in the boys lol black glove is clearly seen.
This promo looks AMAZING! I want to see that episode now, so badly! They're back in FTL! YES! I'm so excited for a new, possibly great, straight up villain, with the Wicked Witch of the West. Her costume and makeup looks great already. And they got an actress capable of the role too!
I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this promo. Even if black fairy is another great villain saved for later, that's fine with me too. I'm looking forward to the return of this show so much now!
I was wondering about that ER set and those characters too. I think the "him" brought in on the stretcher, is likely Robin Hood's kid. If Wicked Witch, and/or her minions (Evil Flying Monkeys, or something else), killed the kid, it'd solve the "insta-family, with new kid/son in tow" problem that some might have with the possible future pairing of Robin and Regina.

Thank you, that makes sense. As Oz is not exactly a wizard but a magician that uses trickeries and "science", Victor might be Oz, as Victor is a scientist.
In the promo we can see that it's not only hook who escape this 'no go back curse' Frankenstein/Dr Wess did as well. I think it's because those character weren't originaly from the Enchanted Forest there were from other realms ergo they are not affected.
If Storybrooke is completely gone, then why does the voice-over guy say the witch "invades Storybrooke"? It could just be a mistake on the promo editors part I guess.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wicked Witch! That makes more sense than Cruella.
ReplyDeleteCannot wait for this! Stupid long hiatus.
We have to wait until March?
ReplyDeleteGuess they end up back in Storybrook fairly quickly
ReplyDeleteCool did not expect the Wicked Witch. This will be exciting!
ReplyDeleteAw yeah, Robin Hood in Storybrooke.
ReplyDeleteLooks very intense! Is this just for 3x12 or for 3x12-3x22?
ReplyDeleteAnd why is Whale in fairytale land with Robin Hood at the 0.16 mark? Shouldn't he be in the land without colour? Very confused... maybe they get back to Storybrooke very quickly?

Dear OUAT, sometimes I hate you, sometimes I love you, I have to say this was a VERY.GOOD.PROMO!
ReplyDeleteWhale's in a hospital in that scene, there are not white walled electrically lit fairytale land hospitals, so I don't know. I guess they might get back to SB fast.
ReplyDeleteSo, Enchanted Forest, the Real World, Wonderland, Neverland, Frankenstein world, and now Oz are also part of the same Universe? All their missing now is some Pokemon.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Victorian England - it's a 'verse of its own on OUAT In Wonderland.
ReplyDeleteIf Hook can cross the town line in this new curse, now everyone else can as well! :O
ReplyDeleteThat's because there is no town line. Storybrooke is completely gone.
ReplyDeleteinteresting... Elphaba's the new big bad.... I like it (lol)
ReplyDeleteaww, loved the promo and hate the long hiatus...it should just magically disappear...uhm,any witches here? XD
ReplyDeleteI get the point of having so more breaks for the rest of the season, but frankly I'd take the random one-week hiatuses over a three month one!
ReplyDeleteIn other news, DAVID ANDERS! They better give him more than one scene like last time.
As Mad Hatter paraphrased - EVERY fictional work in our universe "gets its creativity" from existing worlds.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, there's world full of muppets and world full of shrimp in OUAT verse too. Possibly even a world without shrimp too.
Hm, why does Revenge come back in January and this in March? I guess it could be because Revenge is one episode back from Once, and a fairy-tale show would trump Revenge in production with all that *bad* CGI, but still.. way to make me sad after that AMAZING mid-season finale! ReplyDeleteCruella would have been horrible, I mean wasn't her villains purpose to skin dogs? Poor Pongo!
ReplyDeleteProbably around 3x12 - 3x15.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Agrabah?
ReplyDeleteNarnia!
ReplyDeleteHope we finally find out how Aurora got Phillip back..
ReplyDeleteStill not over the last amazing few mins of the mid-season finale, and I cant wait till March 9.
ReplyDeleteYes, please. It's strange to me how he hasn't had a regular gig since Alias. Someone needs to snag him up!
ReplyDeleteI just watched part of that today, incidentally. HA!
ReplyDeleteWicked Witch?? Does this mean that Oz will also be there in the last half of season 3?? Exciting!!
ReplyDeleteAs long the witch is not related to Henry, it looks good.
ReplyDeleteThumbs up for that Wicked references!
ReplyDeleteNice little Buffy reference there

ReplyDeleteLol, it's probably his third mom... kidding.
ReplyDeleteShe's maybe related to Rumple or something...?
That would be my guess too, but then neither did Neal (unless I missed something?? Sometimes its hard to keep up :D).
ReplyDeleteRobin hood and Whale at the hospital?! What's going on there???! :D
ReplyDeleteHe did not, you are right.. Hum, I don't know...
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's all that "I'll always find you" bs that the charmings have :P
I know right? Now it's like summer hiatus all over again. Just that this time, we don't have the nice weather!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that because they could be tricking us with flashback scenes - but did you notice that Snow says "we are back" so, does she remembers her time in Storybrooke? And what about Emma holding what looks like the curse?
ReplyDeleteI'll die waiting for March :(
I'm so confused right now.

I try not to think about it too much, it just makes my head hurt. xD
ReplyDeleteYes, Regina said all of the fairy tale characters would remember. It would be only Emma and Henry that wouldn't remember.
ReplyDeleteAha - I missed that part then :/ will have to watch the episode again - poor me...
ReplyDeleteWake me up when it's march.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I can wait till March. I want the next episode now!!
ReplyDeleteI think they are going to make the Wicked Witch the black fairy as well
ReplyDeleteCome on, in the end they're all related ;-)
ReplyDeleteOoooh, Kermit and Hook sailing the 7 seas. I like it.
ReplyDeleteOr it could simply be a Flashback to Storybrooke before Emma got there (or while they were in Neverland).
ReplyDeleteIt's probably just a flashback
ReplyDeleteYes, maybe as Henry Mills.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid of that too...
ReplyDeleteNo, because ROBIN HOOD is there and he and Hook are in their "Enchanted Forest" attire.
ReplyDeleteWe know there are at least 13 -
ReplyDelete13 doors in Jefferson's Hat
The Enchanted Forest/FTL/Giant Land (mostly everyone)
The Land Without Magic (Henry)
The Land Without Color (Victor, Gerhartd)

Oz
But wasn't the Darlings' London actually in the past so it's technically part of the Land Without Magic? I think Pan kept them all alive for a reason. Could be wrong, though.

Either some of them leave and Whale was left behind or Storybrooke now resides within the Enchanted Forest...
ReplyDeleteAh, I forgot about that! Thanks. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteno prob! It can be confusing :)

ReplyDeleteThere are many ways to travel between realms. You do not need a curse...
ReplyDelete1.Magic Beans (Anton and Dwarves could grow more or Anton has more hidden in his castle)
2. Jefferson's/Mad Hatter's Hat (However, only lands with magic)
3. White Rabbit "digs" portals (unlikely unless there will be cross over episode).
4. Shadows (although they seem to exclusive to bring people "to" Neverland)
5 Ruby Slippers (Bae was looking for where Rumple left them...)
6. Magic Mirrors (seems exclusive to being able to get to Wonderland from other lands)
7. Genie Wishes (Cyrus ends up from Agrabah to Wonderland through master's wish)
8. Flying with Hook's ship (may be exclusive to Hooks reality and Neverland)
9. Ash from enchanted object used as vessels between worlds (Cora uses ash from Emma's nursery/magical wardrobe)
10. Magic Compass can find other portals.
--------------------------
Some of those other scenes could be flashbacks
11: it was Jefferson's hat.

Let's wait until March... And we'll all see what crazy stories they wrote for us!;)
How funny would it be if they showed when the clouds cleared Hook was the only one standing on the road lol
ReplyDeleteAnd yu-gi-oh lol

ReplyDeleteBut that's probably because Emma doesn't believe... Kinda when August had a wooden leg but she saw a normal leg
ReplyDeleteMake senses. Well Hook can enjoy wearing that glove but not for long lol
ReplyDeleteThis promo looks AMAZING! I want to see that episode now, so badly!
ReplyDeleteThey're back in FTL! YES! I'm so excited

If Wicked Witch, and/or her minions (Evil Flying Monkeys, or something else), killed the kid, it'd solve the "insta-family, with new kid/son in tow" problem that some might have with the possible future pairing of Robin and Regina.

ReplyDeleteLooks to me like only certain people got sent back to Enchanted Forest while others stayed ie. Belle, Regina, Whale, Hook.

ReplyDeleteMy bad
No big deal! It was hard to catch them! XD
ReplyDeleteIf Storybrooke is completely gone, then why does the voice-over guy say the witch "invades Storybrooke"? It could just be a mistake on the promo editors part I guess.
ReplyDeletei love once upon a time but march thats a long time
ReplyDelete
