I can't tell if it's her or not, but the E! announcement said her character will be revealed in a promo AFTER the fall finale airs, so unless they are introducing her to use before than, I don't think it's her.
"The actress, who will be on for multiple episodes, will be reuniting with many of her former island mates when the spellbinding series returns from its winter hiatus in March."
"Fans will get their first glimpse at the actress' evil ways when they tune-in to Once Upon a Time's mid-season finale airing Dec. 15."
Given there's already been mice on the show, and at least one of them became human in Storybrooke, would it be a too-obvious twist for the medusa to also be Madame Medusa? Or maybe its been far too long since I last watched The Rescuers...
Unless the article lied to us and there's a correlation between Medusa and Mader's character (like she get's transformed into another being/person or something), it appears they are not the same.
When I look at Medusa it's hard to tell if she looks like RM, but you would of thought then that we would of heard about the actress portraying/voicing Medusa!
Maybe she was another villain before she was turned into Medusa and we will see her in flashbacks. She might have been turned into Medusa by Cora or Regina... Being Medusa could be her punishment for crossing someone, because she won't be able to be loved and is destined to living alone.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
MEDUSA! SO EXCITED!
ReplyDeleteMedusa?! Wonderfull!
ReplyDeleteI really hope it's just the bad quality of the promo, but am I the only one thinking that Medusa looks absolutely horrible?
ReplyDeleteFor a moment I thought she was Ursula :P
ReplyDeleteIs Rebecca Mader playing Medusa then?
ReplyDeleteYep. I hope they either improve the SFX or show her only once in FTL and now in Storybrooke as a person.

Looks very similar, just with snake hair.
ReplyDeleteOoooooooooooooooooh, thanks, I forgot about that. So I'm back at thinking she'll be the Rapunzel witch.

ReplyDeleteNo, prob! Got to help support a good theory! ;)
ReplyDeleteSo what will happen when Charming looks at Medusa?

If they're related, that does seem like the most likely scenario! :)
ReplyDeleteand he looks *shakes head* why didn't he close his eyes.
ReplyDeleteOutch.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it tomorrow!
