It’s official. Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor in the Terminator reboot, re-teaming with director Alan Taylor, who has worked with Clarke in the HBO series Game Of Thrones. Clarke joins Jason Clarke, who is in negotiations to play her son John Connor in a storyline I’ve heard involved a trip into the future. Deadline revealed that he was in talks earlier this week. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also back in his signature cyborg role.

I like her, although it would have beeb cool to have Lena Headey reprise the role.
ReplyDeleteOr the real one, Linda Hamilton.
ReplyDeleteBut this is a reboot, and i think Clarke is a fresh face with a good pontencial in reboot of Terminator.
Arnie!!! Great for Emilia Clarke too it was obvious that she'd get the role given her Sci-Fi/Fantasy name
ReplyDeleteLena Headey would have been my personal first choice as i just loved her in the T.V show, although im a huge game of thrones fan and i think Emilia Clarke will be perfect for the role.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Kyle Reese?
ReplyDeletepretty good choice and nice 1 degree of separation that Emilia works with Lena on GoT (even though they've never been onscreen together) who played SC on TSCC (miss that show :( ).... I am curious to see how this will develop, but am waiting to see the synopsis of the story and how it might go
ReplyDeleteLove emile clarke to play sarah but hate Jason Clarke as john connor. I really hope negotiations fall through and they cast a different actor as john connor.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it, Is she going to play Sarah Connor's youth?
ReplyDeleteAgree. Emilia Clarke looks WAY too young for this role O__O
ReplyDeleteHas Linda Hamilton stopped acting all of a sudden?
ReplyDeleteIt`s Terminator. Time travel!
ReplyDeleteHe`s getting cast after Sarah and John.
ReplyDeleteA Lannister and a Taragaryan as Sarah Connor.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I would've definitely liked Tatiana Maslany, but Emilia Clarke is also a terrific actress and was the 2nd best pick out of all the choices. Hopefully the movie and her portrayal will be good.
