I’m hearing that Paramount and director Alan Taylor are looking closely at Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson to play the role of Sarah Connor in the Terminator reboot that is being assembled for a July, 2015 release. Both actresses have tested for the producers, and they are the frontrunners. I have heard that Clarke has an edge, and that would not be surprising.

There's going to be a reboot? Thought they were going to do a 5th one of the series. Ah well, I like both actresses, but I think Emilia would be a better fit for Sarah Connor.
ReplyDeleteAwww so no Maslany anymore?? shucks. I preferred her from the 3, she just has range man, she could have played Sarah from innocent to hardened so awesomely.
ReplyDeleteClarke has more star power right now, but I just really think she is the lesser choice here, Larson has a much more interesting edge and she can also do innocent great.

I love Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson, but Laura Hamilton is Sarah Connor, come up with a different character and follow up on the Terminator mythology, don't start from scratch again. I don't know what I'll do the day they reboot Back to the Future (you know they will)...
ReplyDeleteLove the original but I also love Emilia Clarke so i'd be fine with her as sarah. If they choose a horrible actress instead i'll be disappointed. Also what about movie 5 is that happening because I've always wanted to see the future war and movie 4 was a serious letdown.
ReplyDeleteI'm on board with Emilia Clarke being Sarah, but not with a reboot, I thought this was going to be another sequel... I mean, I wish that if a reboot is the only option, they would wait at least a decade before doing so...

Emilia Clarke at least for me is the best for Sarah's role.
