Yes I watched and I find the season boring I find danny is always in the background and doing nothing. In the beginning of the show the rating was like 2.3 to 2.5 so the ratings went down lots. I find too many new characters have ruined the show's dynamics. I haven't seen all the shows this year but on occasion I still watch I have lost complete interest in the show and I'm not the only one sorry. I was one of the biggest fans now not
So sorry you lost interest because this season is the best by far IMO. Great stories, brilliant acting by every cast member, new background info for some characters, new characters that bring in some new dynamics anddon't reduce it (you need some "fresh blood" now and then to tell new stories), and great guest stars (the best so far this season was James Saito as David Toriyama in 4.10 IMO).
Did you watch this particular episode? It was Chin and Danny related, both with their own stories. The other characters, even Steve, had more supporting roles. The reason why Danny / Scott wasn't around as much as he used to in the other seasons is that he had some charity work and one of his plays done in LA and the show made it possible for him to do so, the same way the show made it possible for Grace to get her time during and after her pregnancy. There are some more Danny related eps ahead with his Mom and Dad (they filmed the first before Christmas break [4.15]), and PL said something about a Steve/Danny bromance episode later this season.
I don't think you can compare S1-S3 ratings to S4 ratings, because you can't compare Monday nights to Friday nights ratings. On Friday nights you have less younger viewers (18-49) who are important for the ratings. I have to admit, 1.3 (or 1.2 for last ep 4.10) is not THAT good, but there's hope to get back to normal (1.4-1.6) next year. The first 11 episodes of S4 averaged about 1 million more viewers compared to the first 11 episodes of S3. Total viewers aren't important for the ratings, but it shows that the storylines can't be THAT bad.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
5-0 goes up by 0.1!
ReplyDelete1.3 is not very good, Hawaii 5.0 story lines have to be better, and I used to be a big fan of the show I am quickly losing interest
ReplyDeleteDamnit Nikita! Why won't you rise?!
ReplyDeleteWhat? have you watched this season?
ReplyDeleteGreat news for H50 on top again soo happy!
