  1. Just feels like he's trying to convince us that Grant Gustin will make a good Flash.

  2. Ah you dont say

  3. Everyone is excited for The Flash except you Olicity shippers, feeling threatened by the Barry/Felicity thing right. This is what this is about you are isnt it you are just making excuses, the hype isn't even near were it should be, Flash is a big deal of a superhero, a million times than your little ship, that is their priority until tne pilot gets off the ground.

Grant will do just fine if the wooden and charismaless machine that is Stephen Amell has got his own show and worshipped by many fans, I'm sure Gustin who has a lot more charisma and presence will be OK

  4. excuse me? don't generalize because really, i ship olicity and i'm way too excited to see barry allen and barry/felicity! maybe the flash being one of my fav superheroes has something to do with that, but there's no need to go and attack like you've done O.o and stephen amell is quite great

  5. That "kid" from glee (His name is Grant Gustin idiots) already out acts Stephen Amell, by the looks of that preview. No wonder those Oliver/Felicity fans are already peeing in their pants with worry.

  6. Hahahaha "And do your parents know you're here?" Lol I'm more excited now then I was before. Forget all the over-promoting that some have complained about. I'm just glad we got a little taste. can't wait. Make us proud B.A.

  7. Umm, I resent that. I'm an Olicity shipper and I have NO PROBLEM, whatsoever about Barry coming on. I'm excited for his guest appearance. And I sure as hell don't mind that Felicity will get "swept off her feet" by him briefly. I'm excited for The Flash coming on regardless of my ship, he's my fav DC character and I KNOW he'll have a lot more to do then flirt with Felicity.

  8. Olicity shippers really don't give a damn. Barry isn't all that important. He'll be there for two episodes, his third episode has been axed, and he'll get his own show.

This Barry thing is really no different than the Huntress/McKenna arcs. Olicity fans don't care because they have nothing to worry about.

  9. You seem to care more about Oliver/Felicity more than Olicity fans judging by your apparent need to keep posting about them.

  10. Here's a webclip....I actually enjoyed it, he's like a female Felicity, lol with this clip i'm excited even more....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qa59sYS4qbM

  11. He is very much like a male Felicity, which is why I'm glad he's only going to be around for 2 episodes. One Felicity is delightful, two make her seen ordinary. (Three would be awful.)

I think that's one of the things that ruined House. In the first three seasons he was different from every other character on the show, except Foreman who was a mini-House. Then they got rid of Cameron and Chase, brought in 3 new characters who were rude and self-centered like House, and made Cuddy self-centered too. In the end House was no different than the other characters and it made for far more boring TV.

  12. Wow.

Go back, read my comment again, and then tell me what on earth your childish attack has to do with what I said.

By the way, I'm not an Olicity shipper.

  13. I do like the looks of this, I think the geeky flirting between Barry and Felicity will be cute. Also, the show is *acknowledging* the fact that Barry is, or at least looks, too young to be taken seriously by others as a CSI, so that makes it better.

The problem isn't for me personally, though. I'm not a comic reader and know next to nothing about The Flash. I just think that by hyping him up so much, they've set the bar of expectations pretty high. I have nothing against Gustin and no reason to assume he'll do poorly - I just think that after so much promotion, he's gonna have to be downright amazing to satisfy Flash fans. So it might have been better for the actor if they'd been a bit more low-key about this whole thing, and waited until after he appeared (and there was feedback from fans) to start talking about the Flash spinoff.

  14. i'm starting to hate the show creators then are too misogynist with what they do to Laurel and all. Oliver is the cheater, yet he gets all this praise and other do not

  15. I know what you mean I don't read comics either but I know that the flash is a really beloved character and they are putting too much pressure on Grant and sometimes being so eager puts people off it's like when BATB fans try so hard to convince others to watch the show it makes them hate it without even watching it, but I loved the promos and the sneak peek and can't wait for Wednesday.

  16. I am A HUGE Olicity fan and I'm excited to see Barry and Felicity. just because I want Oliver and Felicity to get together doesn't mean she has to set around and wait for him!!! She deserves to have fun.

  17. LOL please dont give yourself or your little ship that much credit I dont give an F about it, just sick of the crazies shippers hating on every character who "gets in the way and making everything about them, and Im just telling you that newsflash they aint all that", they are way better and more interesting things in this show.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah they do, of course you are right its a 2 episode guest star, why all the fuss, the idiots continue to hate anyway.

Im not generalising, if you aint the kind of Olicity shipper, Im talking about then no need to be insulted or offended you are the rare breed in that fandom that Im not referring to.

  19. Seems to me like you care a whole lot. Take a chill pill. Will do you good.

  20. I'm not sure if you are a bitter Laurel fan or a delusional Gleek.

  21. The Big Bang Theory is the most successful show and watched TV show currently, with the show centered around similarly geeky characters, 4 and more of them. There is no reason why it couldn't work and such characters co existing in the same show. Felicity could actually use someone who she has a lot in common with her, if Barry/Flash wasn't getting his own show he would have been a welcome addition. But as we know he is getting his own show and thats fantastic, because the character is great. He is not a male Felicity, the way people are reducing him to be. They are not the same personality and character just because they have something in common.

  22. Everyone has their individual reasons for watching the show, I for one know very little about the comic book characters and enjoy the show immensely. I have heard of The Flash but don't know enough to get excited. I look forward to guest stars changing things up once in a while. and the fact that I'm not excited has nothing to do with whether I ship Olicity or not.

  23. Try take some of your own advise

  24. Its more the fans than the creators i believe

  25. Claps out loud, seriously agree i love Felicity and Oliver but their is so much else about this show that is better

    ReplyDelete
  26. You and Andrea are a match made in heaven you guys sook more than Laurel lol

    ReplyDelete
  27. No one praises Oliver for cheating. He is praised and liked for other things.

Laurel isn't liked or praised as much as Oliver because most can't find anything likable or praiseworthy about her.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oliver is sad and deserves more credit then what he gets. Being the green arrow at night, taking care of a club, being ceo, tormented by tommy's death, honouring tommy, nightmares of the island i mean how much can one guy take! He does deserve credit. Laurel deserves credit. She is doing her part for the city for sure. I would love to see Laurel kick some serious butt! It'd be a change from her usual crime fighting from an office role. There are so many people who like Laurel.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Frankly stephen amell isn't animatronic. He nails these small minute smiles, smirks and smoulders really well. Give the guy credit. He plays so many roles simultaneously. Just my opinion
Olicity is a big part of Arrow. It gives the show a much needed comedy relief and makes the show really intriguing to watch for sure.
Flash is a big superhero in terms of TV and cinema. Hope he gets the right treatment and eventually make it into a movie!

I knew I'd seen him somewhere before but I didn't make the connection until he said Glee. I like him already, I laughed so hard when Oliver said "Do you parents know you're here?". Can't wait for this episode

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think they've created overly high expectations with their endless promotion and hype of the Flash showing up on Arrow. When he's supposed to actually be awesome enough for us to want to see him in his own spin-off, you're putting a whole lot of weight on the shoulders of a young actor. It's already a challenge to play an iconic character that fans love and picture a certain way, but with their hyping up his appearance on top of it, it's gonna be hard for Gustin to deliver - even if he does a pretty decent job.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Agree but this promo looks promising.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, he does look like a teenager I didn't know what to think when I heard someone from Glee would be the Flash but I guess I'll have to see how he does in this weeks episode and hope for the best.

The characters on TBBT are all geeky, but they're geeky in different ways. Sheldon is Aspergers-y, Leonard is stunted by his mother, Raj was afraid of women and Howard is the guy you avoid at parties. You can tell who the characters are just by their dialogue.

Barry's explanation of why he was late with the trains and the taxi driver is very much something Felicity would say, as is the "similar, similarities" line.

I do think the "There's not going to be dancing is there? Because I'm not too good on my feet" is hilarious since GG is such a good dancer.

  35. Yup, agreed. I got so bored with House with the changes, but stayed with it til the end.

  36. I don't understand why you have to look down on Stephen Amell just for make your point...
