  1. I liked Barry but I loved Moira getting rid of Malcolm by calling on Ra's al Ghul. You win all the awards, Moira.

  2. Pretty much the exact same reason I also chose that one.

  3. Bringing Malcolm back was a mistake. I'm glad that they came up with a reason for him to disappear for awhile although I would be just as happy if Sara comes back to say that Ra's al Ghul killed him and has his head to prove it.

  4. Props for having Barry stack volatile chemics in the middle of a thunderstorm and NOT getting his powers that way.

  5. everything about barry & felicity were amazing

  6. Please let this be your last rant about Malcolm, we get it already

  7. I chose Moira threatening Malcolm with Ra's Al Ghul. That was awesome. My second would've been Barry finding out about Oliver. It just felt Sooo right for him to find out now. I laughed so hard with that scene when he was organizing the chemicals and lightening struck and he quickly looked out the window. Lmao I thought that was a nice little reference to DC. As well as the other things they pointed out.

  8. I also get that you like him. You could of course not red my posts.

  9. Although I ultimately ended up picking Barry finding out about Ollie, the Moira-Malcolm confrontation was a close second, and next is Oliver shooting Roy. He needed that.

  10. Just an FYI, they filmed episode 2.07 back at September before the season premiered on TV. They didn't bring him back because of fan pressure or worrying about the ratings, but they planned to do so all along.
I too am glad to not see Malcolm again any time soon. There are enough villains without him and if they want Oliver to find out the new big bad is one he already fought with in the past, I'd rather it be Slade than Malcolm, but they might have a plan for Malcolm for a later season that would then make more sense of their decision.

  11. I had to choose the scene with Moira and Malcolm because she keeps surprising me. I wonder when she found out about the League of Assassins, if she knew about them all along and didn't find about Malcolm being a member until he revealed it or if she made herself some contacts while showering with others in jail. ;)
I loved Barry personally and thoughts all his scenes were fun in this episode.

  12. Since fan pressure started right after the season 1 finale, the filming of the episode is irrelevant. However I am sure they have an overall plan for him or else they wouldn't have done the melodramatic soap opera reveal about Thea. Still I didn't say anything about that in my original comment. All I said was that I was incredibly excited that Merlyn will be gone for awhile and gave Moira kudos for it. Frankly she was the best part of the episode for me, mostly because of the superb acting. I don't respect anytime writers shortshift a show's narrative integrity, which they did here, no matter what reason they have for it later. It just cheapens the story. Call it the Supernatural effect.

  13. We never saw Malcolm's dead body except for that second when he wasn't blinking, and there were a lot of fans who didn't believe he was dead in the first place. Both Oliver and Diggle were wounded and saw the Glades being blown up in front of them when they thought he died, so I personally don't think they verified his death. Something that obviously the writers left open to bring him back.
I saw as much fan pressure for him to stay dead as I saw for him to return, and I personally was in the "leave Malcolm dead" camp, but I guess they didn't care about my opinion either ;)

  14. Definately for me the last scene when Barry notices where he is.

    That was very sweet!!

  16. Personally, I chose other. Just because I loved all the little references to DC. I really enjoyed seeing KORD Industries when the camera panned by a machine of some sort.

  17. so difficult for me to pick...(and Dahne has the evil need to force me to pick one... ;-) )
I wound up picking the Barry/Oliver reveal mostly because of Felicity in the moments before.

  18. I loved Barry so anything involving him! :D and him getting late to everything lol

  19. Oh yay! I'm not alone in that! I really would have rather Malcom stayed dead also but then again... I love Laurels character. Totally understand her character is more the appropriate wording. Therefore she doesn't annoy me.

  20. I would if they weren't just rants and more like a post

  21. It cheapens the story in your opinion, and please don't compare Arrow to that tripe

  22. I'm not sure how much of a mistake it was...killing of Tommy and not seeing what the knowledge that he murdered his own son does to Malcolm would have been kind of a waste. And I like the concept of the black archer. For now, I am ready to wait where they go with this.

  23. My god, probably the best episode of this amazing season so far!! Great in every sense! And i must say, i really liked Barry, and her chemistry with Felicity! Amazing!

  24. I've always liked her but she officially won me over with that one. What a Queen, pun fully intended.
