    Hating May right now. She's never accepted Skye in the team. I'm glad that Ward was supportive. That will be why Skye will go on her own to plan Coulson's mission??

    I think May knows exactly what she's doing - she deliberately want's Skye kicked off so she CAN work the mission in her own unorthodox ways. I think May knows that if she's kept "on-book" she won't be as effective at fighting Coulson.

    Yeah that makes sense, didn't think of it like that. I admit that I overreacted straight away and thought the worse. So May does want Skye's hacking skills to help with the rescue? Nobody from SHIELD will help so it's up to the team to save Coulson (that's what we saw in that sneak peek/promo for January).

    That's exactly what I though.

    The question was if she could be of any use to them "on this plane" and May answered correctly: working on the plane under the scrutiny of a protocol-freak like Victoria Hand (Coulson allowed her more leeway), Skye is of little to no use. Working more freely on her own is where she'll get the results.

    I liked to see that Ward defended her as well. Nice touch.
    ps.: Oh, and good to see that Ward has recovered quickly from the gunshot.
