  1. I would say Homer Simpson wins hands down.

  2. Marshall Eriksen, Chandler Bing and Jim Halpert for me. But I would have added Homer Simpson.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Haha, no Castle options here because Castle & Beckett aren't married!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Nathan Scott has to be my top choice. One hell of an amazing character. Even Julian was great.
Followed by Chandler Bing, and I would add Jin Kwon from Lost.

From the current shows I'd pick Derek, Phil..and Howard after that excellent song he wrote for Bernadette!

    ReplyDelete
  5. What the Hell about Booth from Bones, the sweetness and love he took care of brennan after the bacherolette party was amazing

    ReplyDelete
  6. Nathan Scott is definitely TV's most lovable husband for me, followed by Chandler Bing and Marshall Eriksen.

    ReplyDelete
  7. My top 3
    Tom Scavo
    Marshall Eriksen
    Peter Burke

Those 3 are sooooooo the best husbands EVER !!!

Very interesting but I don't watch any of these shows except one from time to time which is TBBT so I went with that one. I suppose there could of been boyfriends..but then there's so much to choose from. Anyway it was abit challenging :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. they haven't gotten their divorce yet.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Other- Seely Booth, Derek Sheperd and Peter Burke.

    ReplyDelete
  15. chandler bing and prince charming

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh okay, I guess I missed that one. :)
I only watch GA for time to time. :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. I watch every week and i still stopped to think if they had gone through with it.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Do you really think Grayson is a lovable husband,lol....?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Brad from Happy Endings, Ben from Parks and Rec, Chuck from Chuck.....

    ReplyDelete
  20. If I can end up being half the husband that Jim Halpert is, I'm sure my future wife will be a very happy lady.

    ReplyDelete
  21. For once something they cannot be voted in!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Charming plus Other: Booth and Hodgins from Bones, and Homer Simpson.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Tom Scavo - Desperate Housewives

    ReplyDelete
  24. I picked Howard from TBBT (the song!) and Peter Burke from White Collar. Off of the list - Patrick Jane to his first wife. In the few flashbacks we have had, in his current actions to women and children, the fact that he still wears his wedding ring - I would think he was a very lovable husband. I am not quite sure he counts because his wife is dead and there certainly is a lot of guilt there too, but whatever, he is my third pick.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I wanna say Booth...(with bones) they are married now so it counts ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Marshall Eriksen, Chandler Bing and Phil Dunphy..

    ReplyDelete
  27. Other: Chuck Bartowski, from Chuck.

    Then: Jim Halpert, The Office

    3rd: Charming, OUaT

But I forgot about Marshal, from HIMYM, he'd beat both Jim Halpert and Charming. I guess he'd tie with Chuck.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Burt Chance in Raising Hope!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Booth - Bones
    Chuck - Chuck

    ReplyDelete
  30. Charming because he' ll always find his wife.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jim Gordon - Ghost Whisperer

    ReplyDelete
  32. Peter Burke from White Collar by far for me. I love how the Burkes respect and love each other and it shows in their actions and conversations. Unlike most TV couples, they aren't tearing each other down, nitpicking faults, making fun of each other, or sleeping around. They show that marriage can be hardwork, but also show that it is worth the effort. The Burkes have each other's backs, put each other first, and show each other the respect they both deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Chandler , Derek and of course Coach Eric Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  34. Marshall Nathan Charming and Mike Heck honorable mention is Hodgins on Bones Sandy on The OC Jimmy on Rasing Hope

    ReplyDelete
  35. Marshall Eriksen and Chandler Bing are the top two for me.

Who is TV's most Lovable Husband? The poll question itself is very broad to the point I dare say of being ridiculously flawed. At first based on the choices it looks like this is a question about current TV shows but Chandler Bing is in there who is from a show that ended almost fifteen years ago. So if by definition we're now drawing on ALL of TV going back to the 1950's then the simple answer is that absolutely NOBODY on this list makes the cut.

So as I think about this, TV's most lovable husbands in no particular order:

Heathcliff Huxtable - played by Bill Cosby - The Cosby Show 1984-1992
Mike Brady - played by Robert Reed - The Brady Bunch 1969-1974
Steven Keaton - played by Michale Gross - Family Ties 1982-1989
Ricky Ricardo - played by Desi Arnaz - I Love Lucy 1951-1957
Fred Flinstone - voiced by Alan Reed - The Flinstones 1960-1966
Tony Micelli - played by Tony Danza - Who's The Boss 1984-1992

There are many more but that should do for now.

  37. Chandler, Marshall and Jim, I'd say. A lot of these guys listed are serious douchebags and quite a few treat their wives really badly.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Friends ended 9 years ago, not 15!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Maybe TPTB will select a USD Poll of "Most Adorable Engaged Couple" that I'm sure someone at some time has submitted and then they could win. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. The poll was probably submitted before they got married.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm not even a big Raising Hope fan, but the most objective answer I can come up with (at least for shows that are still airing), is undoubtedly Burt Chance. He fulfills the husband role better than most husbands on TV, and he's one of the funniest characters currently on TV.

Of course if we are including every show ever, then the answer would probably be something like Mike Brady or some other classic sitcom husband.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Chandler, Marshall, and Charming all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Peter Bishop (Fringe). Sets up an standard hard to cover in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Of this list, most "lovable husband" to me, is Prince Charming, because of how he loves and treats Snow White.
I also chose the "Other" option, because one of my first thoughts when I saw the poll title, was Gen. Michael Holden, of Army Wives. I watched it up till Claudia Joy died. But when she was alive, I thought Michael Holden was the most lovable, and ideal, husband.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Prince Charming and Nathan (OTH) from the list.

    Off the list:

    Jim (Ghost Whisperer)
    Peter (Fringe)

If this poll would include boyfriends this list would be much longer. lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. Doug Heffernan King of Queens

    ReplyDelete
  47. Peter Burke - White Collar :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah...the only other couples which work that way are the ones from Grimm, and since they aren't married yet, he deserves the crown. Well, and Parker and Hardison, but they never married before Leverage ended, so that's that.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Chandler, Charming and Derek Shepard for me,

    ReplyDelete
  50. Loved Jin from Lost too. When the show started he was posessive, but as soon as we learned all about them I started to love him with Sun (I loved their flashbacks). And their death was SO sad and touching.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I miss Parker and Hardison and Eliot so badly. I really hope they make a Leverage movie.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I am dream of a spin-off (or movie series) called Leverage international...the catch: At the start, we don't know who the members of the team are...that is only shown towards the end. Naturally with a lot of great guest appearances of our favourite three.

    ReplyDelete
  53. How could they have left out Booth on Bones! Booth is the kindest and most loving of any hubby on TV!

    ReplyDelete
  54. It's the only and inimitable.... Homer Simpson.

    ReplyDelete
  55. My vote goes for other. Chuck! It's weird that I don't consider this my favorite show of all times, cause in most of the polls about best (or something along the line) something or someone, I keep coming back to Chuck. But I digress. Also Tim Taylor, Burt Chance, Turk (Scrubs)...

    ReplyDelete
  56. I was hoping for Leverage with those 3 and Jerri ryan coming back, mostly since Nate was my least favorite character. However, your idea has lots of potential as well. #LeverageLivesOn...at least in the fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree...I could do without Nate and Sophie...they didn't bother me, but they were less fun than the other three, and the better they became in conning and planning, the two became more and more obsolete. And Jerri Ryan was fun...like always. It is always a joy to see her on screen, no matter the role.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Other - Mike Biggs in Mike and Molly, he is the SWEETEST!

    ReplyDelete
  59. i'll also add Hoban 'Wash' Washburne from Firefly.
