Tunnel - Promotional posters

Canal Plus UK ShowsThe Tunnel premièred 20 days ago in the UK, and Tunnel will start in France next Monday, with two new episodes airing each week for a finale on December 9 (the show finishes December 19 on Sky Atlantic).
Here are a few posters for the show. The tagline means "Every murder gets you closer to the truth."
Here's a teaser trailer Canal+ is airing :
You should watch Tunnel, it's pretty good and I have a feeling it will only get better.
The critics are raving :
— "So far, I'm liking it" — Bunky Bunk, SpoilerTV.
By the way, below you will find a trailer for the original series airing in the 2013/2014 season on Canal+.
In there you have footage of Tunnel, and also Kaboul Kitchen season 2 (amazing first season), WorkinGirls season 3, Braquo season 3, and the fifth and final season of Mafiosa.
You also have footage of the excellent comedy series Platane, which has concluded its second season already (September 16 - October 7). I personally didn't enjoy season 2 as much as I did the first season, it didn't have one big plot driving all 12 episodes but instead 3-4 plots loosely connected to one another, some episodes were downright weak (2.10, 2.11). It was still very funny most of the time, this is the kind of comedy I like, Eric Judor still got amazing guest stars (Jean Dujardin, Gérard Lanvin, Bob Sinclar, Guillaume Canet returning once again as some sort of asshole/hilarious 'nemesis', etc.) but it didn't impress me as much.
Anyway, sadly there is no footage of the third and final season of Borgia, and nothing on the fifth season of Engrenages (Spiral) either. Right after season 4, Canal+ said they'd like to speed things up and be able to deliver the new season 18 months later... looks like it will be the regular 22-month hiatus, unless Engrenages airs very late in the season, like in May/June - season 3 did -, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Love the posters!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on the Canal+ shows.
I've been watching The Tunnel and it's a fun series so far. Stephen Dillane and Clémence Poésy are both quite good. I'm also enjoying the opportunity to pinpoint all the similarities and differences between this version of the series and its US counterpart, The Bridge.
