Klaus Mikaelson is returning to Mystic Falls, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
The Originals' Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will cross over onto The Vampire Diaries for the first time since he exited the series in the Season 4 finale. As part of his goodbye — and in one of our favorite scenes of all time! — Klaus told Caroline (Candice Accola) that her boyfriend Tyler (Michael Trevino) was free to return to Mystic Falls. He then added, "He's your first love. I intend to be your last."
Well now that Tyler and Caroline have pretty much called it quits, has Klaus returned for another go at getting Caroline to give in to his love? The timing of Klaus' return could coincide with The Vampire Diaries upcoming 100th episode, which will air in early 2014. Reps for CW and Warner Bros. TV had no comment.

ReplyDeleteI love it! I figured he'd resurface after the Caroline/Tyler breakup. He makes it his business to know these things. I'm looking forward to him shaking up the show again. I've missed his snark, and I think Silas was a poor substitute for the "big bad." Never got into it.

ReplyDeleteHappy to hear this, but the reporter made it seem like he's being brought on for romance or it's a Klaus-centric crossover (like Tyler's). But it's the 100th TVD episode. I'm assuming we should be expecting numerous cameos, obviously something special is being brewed here, not just for Klaus lol?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure he actually knows about that. Half the time Tyler was gone from Mystic Falls but he and Caroline were still "together" and Tyler didn't say anything about breaking up with her so unless Caroline called him to vent about it I don't know how he'd know that.
ReplyDeleteGood news! I always liked Caroline and Klaus, and think Caroline is a bit boring this season without Klaus to stir things up. But it seems a little odd if they are bringing those two closer. I like The Originals better than TVD, so I hope it is just for one or two episodes.

ReplyDeleteKlaus can be bit creepy stalker when it comes to Caroline though, he apparently already knew Caroline was Miss Mystic Falls before she told him at his mothers ball, he knew what happened to her father, and in a uber stalkery creepman moment he jacked her Miss Mystic application! LOLOLOL! Who does that? HAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteOhh. What if he does some creepy dream thing to connect to Caroline to get her to try and help him? We haven't seen much of that power in awhile. Could be steamy if he interrupts a *ahem* already Klaus centric dream... mwuahahaha.

ReplyDeleteStefan. He actually stalked Elena for 3 months before he introduced himself. Mystic Falls isn't a large town - word probably travels fast when people die. I didn't think it was odd that he had heard about her father dying - I suspect the entire town knew.

ReplyDeleteMystic Falls. The only place in the world where stalkers are considered romantic, lol. When I was giggling about "who does that?" I was more referring to Klaus's theft of Caroline's Miss Mystic application though. That scene still makes me giggle every time I think about it, lol.

ReplyDeleteMaybe Caroline gets infected with Werewolf venom or taken by the new "not so secret- secret society that knows about vamps" and the scoobies call for his help. If he was sincere about his "Last love" speech, he'd come for her. Klaus did come to her graduation despite what was happening in NO and cured Damon because she asked him to after all.

For as silly as the Augustine Vampire storyline sounds, it's probably still better then the Tessa/Silas/Amara mess, lol.

ReplyDeleteI hope so cuz that triangle was HORRIBLE. All this build up over Silas being basically Satin and he was seriously just a cheater and a thief... WOW. And why did we have to go through the expression triangle nonsense last season if there was really another way to destroy the otherside? This new way apparently NOT releasing hell on Earth? Ugh, can we get Kol back then cuz his death is even MORE of a waste now.
