    Love this 2 together on the screen. Love their chemistry. I hope Stefan is more like bitchy amnesia Stefan to the end of the season, not Elena's puppy dog Stefan.

    C'mon, Caroline! She murdered 12 witches to save Bonnie and bit the hell out of some deputies when she came out of the coffin with her mum in the Lockwood under something (don't remember if she actually killed them, but still...). Give Elena some freaking break, Caroline! She also fancy Klaus (a little bit) and no one said nothing to her about that... Why does she have to be so uptight about Damon when ALL the vampires she met (including herself) messed up occasionally or a lot? Look what Tyler is doing and he was boyfriend material! Caroline sees all of Damon's mistakes but non of his progress, especially when it comes to Elena. He makes her happy, deal with it, Caroline! Everyone has reason to hate Damon (he messed up a lot) but they moved on, why can Caroline do the same? We have watched 5 seasons of forgiveness and amendments, this is no time to be so reticent.

    Ugh Caroline, grow up. Loved her character till s4 started..
    Damon has grown so much from his s1 personality, and all that he did back then was for Katherine, because he thought he loved her. And all that he has done has been, in one way or the other, for Elena. And of course he's killed people/done wrong..everyone on this show has. How much of a boyfriend material is Tyler exactly? Also, Caroline can like and then hate and then like and then hate and then use Klaus (s4 finale) as much as she wants, but Elena can't be with the one person who has really tried to be better for her?
    I hope they change her continuous whining ways soon.

    Damon deserves every scold and insult that Caroline is giving him. I hope she will never forgive him. She's the only character who kept enough cells brain to not consider herself as being at Damon's level. Even if she 's far from perfect (but she knows it and admits at least), there's a large gap between what Caroline did in her worst days and what Damon is capable of. And it's absolutely ok to remind every character of his past actions because the show is already a joke based on Elena's character development, no need to add more plot holes by making everyone forgiving and forgetting.
    He didn't change at all since the beginning of the show: he was just forced to tone down the violence and the jerkiness because he needed the rest of the gang's help since bigger baddies (Katherine, Klaus, Silas) kept coming after them and also because it was the most secure way to Elena's pants.
    Caroline is lucid enough to see through his false redemption while Stefan is still blinded by his brotherly feelings, which i don't understand after the last betrayal.


    The real question should be why is Stefan still protecting Elena? Especially now that he's aware that she didn't come to save him because she was too busy and happy fucking his brother to care and now that he knows that she's selfish enough to tell him when looking at him in the eyes that she had the summer of her life while he was drowning over and over and she just wants him to get over it !
    I miss amnesia Stefan.

    I get what you mean. But if we have to draw a line, any kind of manipulation is wrong, murder is also wrong (whether you kill in self defense or you're plain psycho). When I watch a TV show, I put my moral standards on hold 'cause I know I'm getting something different from real life itself (it really doesn't matter what the show is trying to "sell", it is not the real stuff). Otherwise, I would expect that all the main characters were accused of murder and spend the rest of his days in prison. But hey, that's just my opinion.

    Everyone messes up. Caroline has a right to be upset with Elena, she did kill the guy she was crushing on. I'd be upset to, even if it was my best friend. Caroline will forgive her though. I hope Stefan will be ok...

    Omg Caroline stop yapping already. How is what Elena did to save her boyfriend any different from what Caroline did last season to save Bonnie (killing 12 witches), also remember when they had no problem with killing Kol and the 100's of vampires they didn't even know just so they could cure themselves. The situation with Jesse was almost identical to 1x07 when Stefan killed Vicky to save Elena and Jeremy.

    Oh my god.......I hate Caroline so much I could eat her. She is like the old lady who judges everyone who doesn't obey her standards of living. Let's be honest about one thing: every vampire on this show is a murderer if you killed 100 or 12 people you are still a murderer.....so shut up Caroline( I really think that Stefan killed more than Damon anyway). Now lets talk about Damon. Who wouldn't want a boyfriend that would do anything for you including give his life to protect yours and stay to help you after you broke his heart by choosing his brother. He is not perfect but who the hell is, it is true that sometimes he loses his temper and tryes to kill someone, but he has not done that in a very long time (actually I can't even remember the last time Damon killed a human, season 2?). At this point I don't even know why Elena is even friends with Caroline, because all that Caroline does and has done since season 4 is judge. I really really do hate her

    Steroline!!!! finally!!!! I like where Caroline is going with this. Beat your fear, by facing your fear. Like poison. I like this. Hopefully Stefan will try it her way. And i'm going to ignore everything Caroline said before she opened the tank.

    I think Stefan gets it because he's done the same thing before - when he killed Vicki back in Season 1. He probably would have made the same choice Elena did.

    LOL..... You make excuses for Caroline and even Stefan. EVEN use my misspelling of his name a counter argument. or even poking fun at my writing. LOL. DUDE you need to chill out this is not real life but A TELEVISION for entertainment. If you like characters who are hypocrites; then Caroline is right up your alley. She is a control freak and the WRITERS of the show have written her to be so. If you upset by the fact that fans recognize her to be that way well complain to the writers. By the way Julie Pec wrote Damon as a 3 dimensional character who is conflicted. Bravo to her and she obviously has done her job because fans such as yourself get all nutty on the fans like myself who recognize her STORYTELLING.

    Can I just say that I get that what Elena and Damon are working on is important but at the same time it's completely awful that Stefan is going through this PTSD thing and they are oblivious and not doing anything to help? WTF? A lot of stuff about this season is not making sense to me.

    Besides, everyone on this show, including Stephan (he's murdered, he's manipulated, and being a 'ripper' doesn't give him a pass), have done horrible unforgivable things, yet have been forgiven. Why is Damon the exception to the forgiveness rule?

    Not really. Jessie was feeding off of Damon not killing him. Even if Jessie took every single drop of Damon's blood - it wouldn't of killed him. It's more similar to Damon wanting to kill Caroline after she first turned and kicked his ass (lol) and killed the carnie by mistake.

    When I heard the first spoiler about this, I worried that it meant that Caroline would sleep with Stefan to get Elena's attention. That's where my mind went because I'm so tired of hearing about Caroline's opinions about Damon. The girl needs to look at her own love life. She let her ex run off to his own potential death and didn't bother to ask anyone to help HIM, and he ended up attacking a baby. If she had asked Elena to help her get through to Tyler and not let him leave, Elena would have been there for her, but there was nowhere near enough time to help Jesse once they figured out what was going on. Caroline's problem isn't Damon. I think it was established when she first became a vampire that the control-freak part of her was exaggerated. I'm starting to wonder if Elena is going dark for a reason that has nothing to do with Damon.

    Well obviously they are keeping their distance because of that but that doesn't explain why if they care about the guy (which they do despite them being a couple) they are completely ignoring the fact that he is going through something. And maybe he wouldn't except their help but the fact that aren't even offering it, no matter how Stefan feels about them, does not make sense. He may not like them but they both love him and therefore they should be a bit more involved in the whole situation. All I'm asking for is a few lines that shows that they know what is going on and after this scene for instance they could talk to Caroline and see if this helped, ask about his progress, stuff like that.

    Now THAT i would like to see, and i would also like to see Stefan tell her off if she does. I can see him be all "you know what Caroline, i've had a long history with Katherine way before you came in the picture, so how about you back off, cuz i wasn't judging you when you befriended Klaus" Then there'd be this awkward silence. haha

    What a unique and original joke, which perfectly explains how the criminal justice system would convict a supernatural being of murder. That being said I do agree with the notion of suspending disbelief for a TV show (morality and the part about have the characters going to jail not so much; given the subjective nature of morality and the lack of proof or evidence needed to convict supernatural beings.)

    She murdered 12 witches to save her best friend, Elena was okay by murdering an entire lineage of vampires just for her selfish reasons, so even holy Elena messes up. If Caroline fancies Klaus or not, she isn't acting upon it. Elena on the contrary is sleeping with the guy whom not only murdered her brother throwing a hissy fit but also the guy whom raped her best friend, the very Caroline, and had sex with her biological mother. Disgusting, so IMO Caroline has every right to be disgusted by Delena and to want her friend away from Damon. All the characters do murderous/psycho stuff but Damon tops it because he does it to people he supposedly loves. So she's just supposed to forget all that happened 2 years ago in their time? Oh yay let's forget murder and rape.

    How many women and men did Stephan MIND CONTROL AND manipulate and then after he slaughtered them he rearranged their bodies in a psychopathic form. HE WAS not compelled into this. AND LET US remember that vampires emotions are a heightened form of their human emotions. WHAT? What kind of thoughts did Stephan harbor as a human? He was probably craving being a real evil person but could never act on it. DAMON killed people to survive and made choices to live as a vampire AFTER STEPHAN forced him to get rid of his FIRST INSTINCT as a vampire which was to STAY away from people and eat off animals. BUT NO STEPHAN would have none of that. I l like Stephan but no ONE compelled him to become the ripper. The writers never show much detailed into how Stephan killed and LURED many men and women to their deaths. He probably even had sex with some of the women before killing them. PRETTY sick. He did it for FUN not for motive. I like Stephan but for Caroline to overlook his MANY indescretions over Damons is off. She is only doing so because Stephan helped her though her vampire
    transformation and PUT UP with her yapping.
